Restaurants in Oak Island

“There's nothing low about this country boil, it is all high caliber. I ordered a sample of all they offered and everything was fresh. Even the andouille sausage's spicy flavor was a pleasant surprise. Quantities were ample. Condiments were provided. Their boil seasoning is steps above Old Bay, with a slight kick depending on how much you use. I utilized their suggestion to use their signature brew for the boiling. On the subject of brews, I partnered this feast with their popular and equally flavorful Taco Life Mexican style lager. On top of everything mentioned, I now have a souvenir bucket in remembrance of a great meal.”

“awesome breakfast served quickly with great service. first time here. Will definitely be back!”

“Outer Banks Boil Co. did the catering (low boil and bbq) for my son’s rehearsal dinner and I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!! Absolutely amazing to work with! Not only did the come, set up and cook an amazing meal, they also walked around to make sure everyone had everything they needed, encouraged them to go back for more food AND they walked around collecting plates, cleaning up and asking if our guests needed anything! When they left it looked like they had never been there but our very happy and full bellies were thrilled that they had catered!! And don’t forget to add on key lime pies for dessert—absolutely delicious! Great service, great prices and incredible hospitality!!”

“Friendly staff and DELICIOUS burgers!”

“I’ve gotten takeout from here two weeks in a row and have been so pleased. Green Curry Tofu and Red Curry Shrimp were both so hot and fresh - I like that they ask how spicy you want your dish :)”

“Best hush puppies on the island! Lovely staff!”

“Celebrated my birthday at Salt64 as our first visit to the establishment. Exceptional service, David was an outstanding waiter. Food was delicious, brought promptly to our table still hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Due to its size, when all tables were full it was a bit noisy, but well worth the noise for the food and service. Don't skip dessert!”

“The best coffee! Their banana bread drink is the BEST! ❤️☕️”

“Went here with my family party of 14 for Thanksgiving Buffet and had a great experience. As someone with the a dairy and gluten allergy they accommodated my needs and my daughters! They also have a GF menu. The waiter was super nice she checked the items to make sure I could eat them and even brought me GF and Dairy Free waffles that was not part of the thanksgiving buffet menu. The chef came to check on us a couple of times which was really nice! Great service and food! Thank you!!!”

“I love this place. We eat here every time we come to oak island. We always get the Cuban sandwich and the potato salad. Something has changed with their potato salad tho. It isn’t good at all. Doesn’t have much taste. I hope the owner reads this and brings back there original potato salad. Please bring back the original potato salad!”

“⚠️ ‼️Staff needs to be trained on service animal laws and etiquette, most specifically the middle aged brunette woman working the register 🍩The donuts were AMAZING, we didn’t eat any bagels but they looked freshly made and delicious, same for the avacado toast Coffee honestly taste the same no matter what style you get or how many pumps of syrup you request. ☕️”

“We had my sisters 85th Birthday Celebration on Saturday night with 12 people attending from out of town. Each person could not quit talking about how perfect this dinner was, everyone was totally satisfied. The Coconut Cake was beautiful and delicious. Thank you for the good service and total comfort ‼️🎂🎉😀🎶🎶🎶”

“Great place to go hang out with friends and family. There are a family friendly bar with amazing staff. The bar tenders make sure everyone is taken care of.They offer inside and outside seating. Access directly to the beach to listen to the ocean waves or tons of live music they offer throughout the week. In addition to the bar, next door is a restaurant as well as access to the pier for fishing, walking or just enjoying a beautiful sunset!”

“My last couple of subs didn’t have much lettuce and I like that crunch so…….this is what you get if you click on “extra lettuce”
Haha There was like a pound of lettuce inside the sub then another pound on the outside!?!?!?!
The sub was good and of course I didn’t eat all that lettuce but it was hard to enjoy wondering what other pranks might have been done while making this sub!
And yes we do tip on online To Go orders.”

“Just GO!!! 😎🙃. Banana Pudding Ice Cream.”

“Got take out tonight and it was GREAT! That garlic sauce is something else!!”

“Just ordered 65 wings from them and they were pretty darn good! They were ready in 20 minutes and everyone there was extremely friendly. I got bbq, mild, teriyaki, garlic Parmesan and hot. All flavors were good with the wing sizes themselves being large than average! My and my family were pleased. If I wanted to be critical, I would say we needed more sauce on the mild, hot and bbq but not a whole lot more.”

“They have amazing cold drinks and hot drinks!! They will make the drink exactly how you want it!”

“Pros: Great customer service, nice personality, food pretty good, corn ribs amazing! Cons: took about an hour to wait in line and receive food. Online ordering down, didn’t answer their phones. I think I had 2 little shrimp in my shrimp taco – portions pretty small. Didn’t give us the burrito we ordered. Might try again next year for lunch.”

“I think the place is great .. Very good food and reasonable priced ... wait staff has always been very accommodating to our needs and bar tenders are awesome... weekends are always hopping ...”
