I had to write to let you know how outstanding the service was at your store located on Oak Island, NC. We didn’t realize the store closed at 10pm, and pulled up a few minutes later. The 2 women working were so kind, and instead of turning us away, they graciously agreed to serve us with a smile. It is hard to find good service at most places during business hours. Love this place and the service. I probably come here too often. This place is a trip down memory lane for me and standing in line waiting is a great way to interact with others enjoying the area. I'm a blizzard fan and love that I can get one year around.

When I grew up in the Bronx, we had heard about Dairy Queen but there were none that I knew of in my neighborhood. When I had 50 cents to spare I usually headed to Carvel or bought an ice cream from one of the many trucks that rode through our neighborhood ranging from Good Humor to Bungalow Bar Jump ahead to 1989.
