The owner very kindly reached out to me about this review and ensured me that she does not support racism, and that the store paraphernalia is not necessarily representative of her personal views. She chooses to sell these items due to the demand of the Oak Island population and tourists that visit this location. While I don't think this excuses anything, I am impressed by the kind gesture.
Our favorite! We have been going to Bubbas for fudge for over twenty years. Faye is the greatest, very friendly and accommodating, and makes her fresh fudge daily. Several years ago, we asked for penuche fudge, which is always difficult to find and takes more time to make. Well, ever since that time, Faye makes it and has it for us when we come over the Fourth every year! We never leave the island for Ohio without one last Bubbas stop!

Great variety of decorative gifts and knick-knacks for basically anyone I can think of.If that isnt your thing, then let me tell you something; Their fudge is the best I've ever had My family goes to Oak Island almost every year, and every year we always make sure to get some of this place's fudge! The ice cream place next to it is pretty good too, just FYI!
