Fanastic place. Lively, well lit, the girls working there were really friendly despite how busy they were. Any the ice cream was fanastic. My partner got a smoothie and the was also amazing. Any they were very generous with scoops which is nice since a lot of ice cream places are pretty stingy imo.
This is a must every year when we travel to Oak Island, North Carolina. Avoid the shiny new place at the end of the strip mall and go to Tropical Treats! We love the variety of ice cream flavors and fudge. It is bright and clean inside and nice and cool!

Not going to lie, I've never been here. I found the frequent flier card in my son's Captain Underpants Book this evening and looked this place up. They get 5 stars for only requiring 6 visits to receive a free scoop or cup, i have always had to get 10. However, if I do make it out to Oak Island, I'm going to get the mudslide, it looks great.
