“I had to write to let you know how outstanding the service was at your store located on Oak Island, NC. We didn’t realize the store closed at 10pm, and pulled up a few minutes later. The 2 women working were so kind, and instead of turning us away, they graciously agreed to serve us with a smile. It is hard to find good service at most places during business hours. This was exceptional service…after hours! I just wanted you to know how pleased and impressed we were. Plus, our ice cream was so delicious! Thank you so much!!!??“

“We ordered five subs for lunch at Jersey Mike's in Southport , NC. Everyone enjoyed our subs as the were exactly as ordered and tasted fantastic! The Service was extremely fast as their App listed our pickup time but I arrived 15 minutes early and our subs were ready for pick-up which I found remarkable in the middle of the lunch rush.There restaurant was very clean, well decorated, and had a nice flow.However, the most unique part of my experience was their people. I did not know how to order a Genoa Salami and Provolone sub with lettuce, tomato, sweet peepers, and oil and vinegar for a particular Grandpa as Jersey Mike's APP offered me no options to do so that I could discern. However, the cashier explained to me to pick a #3, and then add in the comments section exactly what our Grandpa desired. Ok, easy enough. But Jersey Mike's did not stop there. One of the young, and very kind sandwich makers came from behind the counter while I was standing in line waiting for Grandpa's sub to be made, and offered to show me in their APP how to order the Salami and Provolone sub. I thanked her but was extremely happy they were all so willing to teach me how to have a better experience in using their App.In my opinion, service does not get better than that. Best of all it was our younger American generation showing me the way. It is always the little things like kindness, and going beyond what is normally expected in a job that makes a customer remember your restaurant. I will not forget Jersey Mike's in Southport, NC as they are truly interested in helping you have the best experience possible when interacting with their team of very helpful of young professionals. “We have always loved this location, but lately the girls working there have horrible attitudes. Today I stopped with the family for milk shakes, and 2 of them were very watery so when we asked if she could just thicken it up she got very "huffy" and rolled her eyes at me. When her coworker seen the milkshake sitting there and asked what was wrong she replied very snotty..."its to watery" like she was mocking me. She was very unprofessional and her customer service needs improvement. This is the only issue I've ever had at this store.“
“Deluca Pizza is part of Subway. I've lived in the Holden Beach area since 2010 and have had Petronies and Mama Bravad pizza. Patronies used to be good. Recently had MB small pizza which had maybe 10 microsliced slices of pepperoni. I only ate 1/2 and didn't finish the rest. Quite unusual for me. Delucas was well made, lots of pepperoni, more than 3 slices of mushroom and piled high with mozzarella. What a delight!Heads above the other 2 "pizza" places“
“Best dessert/candy spot on the island! Not only do they have all their Sunset Slush favorite flavors but also some ice cream and a variety of candies in their store front location. They also help the local college and school kids during the summer by providing them a job serving the slushes on the beach! Students push the cart up and down the beach during peak seasons!“
