“The store was really dirty. Even the bathroom wasn't good. The drink area was gross like I didn't even want to put my cup down on the counter. I had my baby with me and ordered in and they would even bring me my drink so I had to take the back put of the buster seat which was broken and get my drink and try to keep baby from spilling it while I got a lid and I wasn't even sure they were clean. Dug thru the straw to find one that wasn't wet. The table we sat at was dirty including the floor. The came out really slow. Person who brought food to table said became the fries are hot and they weren't they were soggy and old feeling. Did enjoy that there wasn't a lot of salt. Wasn't happy about the kids meal. The toy wasn't what was displayed so that passed me me. My baby's 1st time at a McDonald's and it was an epic fail. I won't be returning but that's OK cuz I was passing thru. Good luck to future people who may go there.“

“Stopped in for lunch today and was greeted in the friendliest of ways by Mary immediately. She continued the awesome service and completed my order to perfection with her helper.

“l just want to thank the guys that work there. l tried to order My pizza by phone like l always do, but phone system was messed up. so l drove there to order (only 5 minutes). went back to pick up my order and explained what took place. manager wasn't aware of the phone problem. he wouldn't take my money. l wasn't even complaining. yes l'm a regular customer, but he didn't have to do that. good service and great people !“

“4 years after discovering this little gem, it is still our favourite place to eat in the Sunset Beach/Calabash area. they have the best clam strips I've ever had! The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. Did you know you can get your hot dogs fried? I learned something new tonight and it was a great discovery. Can't wait until October gets here so I can enjoy more delicious food!“

Donald, the manager/owner of this Five Guys, reached out to me to make things right. Not too often does this happen and I commend him for taking the time to do this. A great representative of what a proud business owner should be like in the USA. UPDATED TO FIVE STARS BECAUSE OF THIS.

Ordered lunch here and from the time I placed the order until the time it was handed to me in drive thru was about 30 minutes. They did advise me they were working on a large order and it would be a bit longer (came out twice to tell me this) which I appreciated but then when I got to my destination and opened the sandwich (patty melt) the bread was burnt to a crisp on both sides. And the burger was overcooked as well. Couldn’t eat it and didn’t have time to go back. $18 French fries and bottled water for my lunch today.“

“Visited the Jersey mikes in Ocean Isle Beach for lunch. Clean restaurant with fast service. Imani greeted me with a hello and a smile as soon as I walked through the door. She fixed my sub with perfection and had me out the door in no time. I will definitely return.“

“One of the best Subways I've been in, Great staff - super clean Visited on Sat afternoon got 1 ft long sub of the day meal & 1 ft long ( ham/bacon & cheese) meal Stopped on the way back back off the island on Sunday for another ft long ham/bacon & cheese meal (grandson decided it's his favorite) & I tried out the cookies (they're delicious) Good job guys“

“I want to thank the 2 people working tonight 7/23/2026. I came in at 8:55 and seen them cleaning up trying to get home like any other person wants to do at the end of a shift. They took me in made my order and I was very satisfied with that. I tried to leave but they said it was ok and make a good recommendation on a sandwich that I loved. Thank you again. See I have brain cancer and wanted a vacation to get away from the worries. no I didn't tell them any of that I was just greatfull to get some food and not have to search for another place. “We ordered from this location through door dash. Unfortunately our order was taken by our initial dasher. This Papa John’s staff handled this flawlessly. I reordered and they offered to deliver it themselves, even though we are out of the delivery range. This was not their fault, and they went out of their way to help. I apologize, as I do not remember the names of the 2 different employees I spoke with, but they were phenomenal.“

“Food is just what you'd expect from a subway, it's good for the price, which is cheap compared to other sub places. I usually order thru the app which is the best way to go bc they usually have good deals like bogo offer which is awesome!!! I honestly feel like I never see anyone here tho. Gonna sound old here but when I was younger I feel like more people actually ate in the restaurant but now adays everybody orders togo so there's never really that many people here.“

“I eat Subway quite a bit even though I typically have not had the best experiences. I LOVE this place in Calabash. The gentleman was amazing, super friendly and aimed to please. Finally, a great sandwich at a fair price and great customer service. Thank you, it really did make my day.“
