“Koko Cabana restaurant on Yaupon Beach is serene and uplifting, a boutique style restaurant, colorful, friendly, on the beach. The famous NC coastal laid-back beach vibe permeates. The food was fabulous. I had a veggie Impossible burger which was the best Impossible burger i've ever had anywhere. Fresh greens and aoili, and the French fries were excellent...the crisp was long lasting. The Oak Island pier is right out their back door. Kokomo Cabana on Yaupon Beach is a secret treasure.“
“I had to write to let you know how outstanding the service was at your store located on Oak Island, NC. We didn’t realize the store closed at 10pm, and pulled up a few minutes later. The 2 women working were so kind, and instead of turning us away, they graciously agreed to serve us with a smile. It is hard to find good service at most places during business hours. This was exceptional service…after hours! I just wanted you to know how pleased and impressed we were. Plus, our ice cream was so delicious! Thank you so much!!!??“
“This spot has been on list to try for a while now and I finally got the chance to stop in. It was totally worth the wait. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was given a menu but I asked what was a favorite vegan dish. I decided on the owner’s favorite the ramen noodle dish with tofu. This is a ramen dish without a broth and it served with a white creamy goodness sauce!!! They offer a peanut sauce as well but I went with a ginger sauce. To topIt off I got the coconut cake with the blood orange filling…there are literally no words ?…I’m speechless and so happy with my dinner!!!!My expectations were far exceeded!!! The food was outstanding!!! Service was WOW!!!Not that it really matters but the bathroom wallpaper was adorable too.“
“Too many restaurants spread themselves too thin. Fat Andy’s does burgers, dogs and fries. They execute perfectly and they do offer many toppings, even including chili, egg & slaw. Our burgers were excellent as were the fries. We will return!“
“Went to Blue Cow last night and will definitely be going again. I was so excited to see cheese curds on the menu. Since in the South cheese curds are cheese bites. As someone who’s from Wisconsin these cheese curds are the best I’ve had since relocating to North Carolina. The Green Tomato & Pimento Burger so good a flavor bomb. The pork rinds made in house are absolutely delicious.Lindsey was our waitress excellent service.“

“This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Brunswick County. The location, atmosphere, exceptional waitresses and waiters and the best menu. I'm an hour away or I would be there more often. “The food is amazing! Closest thing I’ve found in NC to. Melvin’s Pool Room burger. It gets very busy and you can definitely get overlooked in line. One of the staff even thought I skipped the line although I had been waiting close to 30 minutes. I know he didn’t see me but it was a bit disappointing for him to just assume that. Will definitely still go back and highly recommend trying this place while in town! Just be mindful it can get crowded and the folks working may not notice you’ve been waiting to be served.“
“Enjoyed the cheeseburger combo, my wife had the devil crab combo. The burger was cooked correctly, good flavor, good meat. The devil crabs were nice as well no deep freezer burn taste. French fries were made fresh not held under heat lamp. The sweet tea was fresh brewed. Only reason for 4 star on service was the table we sat at had a sticky issue as if the server had mistakenly over looked it. The rest of the restaurant was very clean. Personality of staff was pleasant and friendly.“
“We have always loved this location, but lately the girls working there have horrible attitudes. Today I stopped with the family for milk shakes, and 2 of them were very watery so when we asked if she could just thicken it up she got very "huffy" and rolled her eyes at me. When her coworker seen the milkshake sitting there and asked what was wrong she replied very snotty..."its to watery" like she was mocking me. She was very unprofessional and her customer service needs improvement. This is the only issue I've ever had at this store.“
