“Absolutely amazing find! We chose this place because we thought the name was great but the food and service was incredible. Tammi was fantastic and friendly and attentive. We had the meatloaf and the BBQ. Both were fantastic. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place to everyone.“
“They left out a milkshake on my order today and Maya replaced it after work. Allie was working earlier when I called, she was the manager. We ordered 60 dollars worth of food and one milkshake was missing. They were amazing and really busy when I walked in to talk to them at 5pm. Very professional and courteous, seemed like a family working together. I will be returning“
“This spot has been on list to try for a while now and I finally got the chance to stop in. It was totally worth the wait. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was given a menu but I asked what was a favorite vegan dish. I decided on the owner’s favorite the ramen noodle dish with tofu. This is a ramen dish without a broth and it served with a white creamy goodness sauce!!! They offer a peanut sauce as well but I went with a ginger sauce. To topIt off I got the coconut cake with the blood orange filling…there are literally no words ?…I’m speechless and so happy with my dinner!!!!My expectations were far exceeded!!! The food was outstanding!!! Service was WOW!!!Not that it really matters but the bathroom wallpaper was adorable too.“

“Perfect service- first and foremost. The live music was a little loud, but pretty good. The fried potato balls were excellent, after that things get really average. Fries were soggy and tasted like the oil used was old. The fish was solid, not spectacular, but good. I'm not sure what the coleslaw was about, but it wasn't anything like coleslaw you might expect. When I got over the idea of it not being traditional coleslaw, it wasn't the worst. The beer was great and, again, the service couldn't have been better.“
“Best burgers at the beach! They have just the right amount of items on the menu, and do them well. Very friendly staff, made to order burgers and you don't mind a little wait for that! Fries and onion rings are yummy too. You know when they're served in paper wrapped in foil and served in a paper bag with a few grease spots, that tells you that what's inside is hot, fresh and juicy!“
“The food is amazing! Closest thing I’ve found in NC to. Melvin’s Pool Room burger. It gets very busy and you can definitely get overlooked in line. One of the staff even thought I skipped the line although I had been waiting close to 30 minutes. I know he didn’t see me but it was a bit disappointing for him to just assume that. Will definitely still go back and highly recommend trying this place while in town! Just be mindful it can get crowded and the folks working may not notice you’ve been waiting to be served.“
“Was not eating meat for a month and had the bean burger. For someone that wants the experience of a burger but doesn’t eat meat this is a great option. Looking forward to going back and trying a real burger and the famous chicken sandwich.Vegetarian options: Bean burger was very good.“
“I will speak about three things, physical plant, food quality, and execution and service.The physical plant is somewhat underwhelming. If you've ever eaten in a Hwy. 55, this layout is reminiscent of that. A few pub tables, a bar, and a few booths and regular tables. They do have a few large screens, t.v.'s that are probably 70" Country music plays on the speakers at a good level for conversation. All noise from the kitchen is heard in the dining area.As for the food, I ate the Pimento Cheese Bacon burger. You can choose single, double, or triple patties. I had the double, which made my burger a little top heavy. It was moderately messy but was very tasty. I personally would have loved a larger bun to hold all that goodness inside. All the different flavors came through and were tempting to the taste.Last, there was one server Ava. She also was cashier, and greeter. She had it under control. She was friendly when I came in, and she offered suggestions. She came for refills on my drink order and even asked, "Isn't that the best burger you've ever had?"“
“This place is somewhat hard to find, almost like a little hidden hole-in-the wall. But Geez....it's a Great place to eat!! Alot of local folks, especially frequented by a lot of New Hanover Regional Medical Center staff. My wife and I were lucky to have found it. It's definitely a recommended place to eat. The roast beef sandwich is Wonderful!!“
“A lot of times nowadays, hitting a fast food restaurant that isn't one of your normal or familiar spots is iffy at best. My family and I were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was, how clean the inside was, the speed of service and food delivery and the quality of what we ordered! The person taking out order was patient and engaging with our children, which is always nice to see. Gave them recommendations and was genuinely trying to make their day better. You love to see it. Next time we're in the area, we'll stop in for sure!“
“This is the only Burger King I eat at. I come here at least once a month if not a bit more. (Gotta watch the calories) lol. The food always tastes fresh. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is great. I have spoken and ordered from Cheryl. She is so sweet and genuine. I recommend 100%“
“Best place to go! Service was amazing and food was hot. There was a lady running around cleaning, taking food out, putting people at a seat that came in, everything. She was walking around talking to everyone and when she got to us she asked if everything was great and if we needed anything. We talked for a minute and I asked to speak with her manager because she was doing so much and wanted to let someone know how wonderful she was doing. Come to find out she said she was the manager Samantha. I told her it was nice to see a manager who works with her staff in every way and that we would definitely be back when we are this way.“
“We grab burgers from there every time we're in CB. We make the trip every few weeks and never miss it. So, so good! No dine in, wait outside for your order to be called, but it's SOOOOOOO worth it. Best fries I've ever had too.“
