The food was delicious, BEST FRIED PICKLES WEVE EVER HAD!!!! If you're vacationing, live local, or simply want a good time, Sunny Daze Smokehouse is where you do it. “Ordered the barnyard dinner for my family (whole chicken, BBQ, choice of 2 sides and either rolls or hush puppies). We had the fried okra, macaroni salad and of course the hush puppies. Everything was delicious. Consistently excellent food. Staff were very professional and friendly.“

“First bbq since moving back to NC from the PNW. I nearly cried. The pulled pork was sooooooo tender. It struggled staying on my fork. And the peach cobbler? 🤤 The only reason I took off a star on food was the corn pudding could've been creamier and had more spices. Also, the cole slaw needed more pepper, imo. Luckily salt/pepper can be added by the customer. Overall, great bbq experience coming back from a flavor wasteland.“
