“My first meal here was the 8 pc dark crispy fried chicken. It made for two spectacular dinners and a breakfast, especially since it included a giant bag of hushpuppies. That was a pleasant surprise.My second was the Brunswick Stew Special. I paid 8.99 plus tax for two pints and added the hushpuppies. Wish I could say that any of the stew made it through the night. It was fantastic!“
“I had dinner with friends about a week & a half ago at Joe's. Everything was so good & the ladies all took such good care of us! I was stuffed & had to take part of my food home with me but i couldnt go home without some of their yummy peach cobbler! I enjoyed the rest of my plate & peach cobbler the next day. “This is mine and my son's favorite place to go to get a milkshake. He tries different ones but I stay with one kind, I always get extra, extra peanut butter. Soooo good. When I ask for double extra peanut butter it's at no extra charge. I never thought they could put extra peanut butter in my shake but I have to say 1 time I think it was just peanut butter no ice cream. But it was still great. Everyone that works there is so nice.Parking: Hard to get in parking lot due to the road construction.“
“Called in order, person taking order was very well informed polite answered all my questions. Order was ready on time I received order by another member of the Williamson barbecue staff once again kind courteous polite well informed, food was priced reasonable onion rings were exceptional, tea good as always, the barbecue was excellent the ribs were also tender, hush puppies extraordinary, all in all an awesome experience! ♥“
“Three of us took the one hour trip from Wilmington specifically to try out Crown BBQ. We were not disappointed! Having lived in Texas, we especially wanted to try the brisket. It was spot on delicious. We also tried the sausage, devilled eggs and beans. All were great. We had a late lunch, so was not crowded. After lunch the owner/chef stopped by and we had a great chat. Do not pass up this gem!“
