The brisket’s bark was delicious and the pulled pork was so tender. Everything was super tender, Gram Gram doesn’t even need her dentures.Service: wow. I came in between rushes but literally, ordered, sat down, pulled my phone out to start the review, then heard my name called. Food was hot and ready. Then just to close it out, a busboy, again just someone cleaning tables, noticed I was done eating. He offered to take it with a professional smile and left. “I had no idea this place existed but my husband found it with a quick google search. It popped under BBQ but this place in my opinion isn't BBQ but southern/soul food. I was excited when I learned it was buffet style. It's a little confusing when walking in but staff is quickly to steer you in the right direction. My second impression was that the staff was very friendly and I truly appreciate when they engage with kids. The restaurant is clean and I really appreciate the gloves and hand sanitizer throughout. The food was fantastic, fried chicken, greens, black eyed peas... banana pudding oh MY! You will leave with your belly full. I loved it and will be happy to come back.“

“Solid little grill near Fayetteville. The staff is always super nice. They make a good burger and their lunch plate specials are simple but down home country style. Quirky atmosphere because it's attached too and somewhat attached to a sporting goods store, but it works and I like it.“

“My family and I visited this place on a Sunday! It was jam packed and we were a large party of 9! I went ahead and paid for everyone in advance, to move the process forward! Afterwards, I was promptly shown to a clean table! The seating process was very organized and efficient. The food was immaculate! A real opportunity for a great customer service experience arose when my in laws arrived and were not hungry! I went up for a refund! The receptionist was amazing! She refunded me for 2 adults without question! I was very, very pleasantly surprised! I am now a lifetime customer!“
“Today was my first time eating here and when I say I was beyond satisfied I was pleased beyond words with every thing they served. I had the hamburger steak dinner with rice and gravy Mac and cheese and green beans. My son had wings and we got a to go plate of a flounder dinner. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. Customer service was awesome as well and let me not forget to mention the sweet was great as well thank you so much for great food and great service I will definitely be going back for smothered turkey wings“

“First visit to this newer restaurant. We purchased Chicago Hot Dogs, Tots, Brisket Mac n Cheese bowl, Cole Slaw and Unsweet Tea. There is a huge menu of options. Prices Vary. It was not crowded however we chose to sit outside because it was beautiful weather. The preparation time was very reasonable. The Brisket Mac n Cheese bowl was served in an iron skillet. Presentation of everything was excellent. The restaurant includes a draft section and even an ax throw section.The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is varied. I enjoyed the Brisket Mac n Cheese which was topped with a BBQ flavored sauce that provided a tangy flavor. The Chicago Dogs while presented well were not what I consider a true Chicago Dog. The sweet potato tots were simple and nothing special. The prices were about average.“

“I went to this location on 2/1/24. I do not know the guys name that was working the front and lobby, but he was amazing. I told him I will be back as I am always passing through that area, and I will be back. I just hope he is working, All of his food recommendation, were spot on. “This was my first time having Captain Jerry's and I wasn't disappointed. This place was recommended to me by two people. I got the House Special which I took a picture of.Everything was fresh and well cooked. The batter was phenomenal! I will say the house special I got to share and ultimately I think it could be for one person. Maybe order two house specials if you're hungry for two people.Definitely will be back!“
“My family and I were looking for some goodT food and we DEFINITELY found a gem at this spot. We ordered baked turkey wings, fries, fried okra, Mac and cheese, wangs (garlic parm, hot honey and sweet chili). And some cornbread. We also had sweet tea and a "mystery punch". Let me tell yall, this food was near PERFECTION!!!! I could tell that the food was made to order (with the exception of the turkey wings) as it was very hot, fresh and the fries were hand cut. Wing flavor was spot on; Mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever eaten. Turkey wings and gravy were good but for my personal taste, I would have liked if both were a bit more seasoned. Owner was the kindest soul and customer service was Surperb ??. If ever I'm craving so good home cooking and don't feel like making it myself, I will definitely make the drive out to this place. Yall do yourself a favor and give them a try!“
