I went to this location on 2/1/24. I do not know the guys name that was working the front and lobby, but he was amazing. I told him I will be back as I am always passing through that area, and I will be back. I just hope he is working, All of his food recommendation, were spot on. He was nicest person of all the staff.
The Brunswick stew and bbq was perfect. The fried chicken breast I got was not as fresh as it could have been. The hushpuppies were cold and undercooked. The coleslaw had such huge chunks of cabbage in it that I couldn't even chew it and asked for potato salad instead. I'm hoping this was just an off day as this location is usually very good. With the prices they charge at Smithfield's I expect everything to be hot and fresh.
