“If you don't love the jumbo shrimp in the shrimp and grits just ask for fried chicken and small pieces of bacon.They are really friendly in fact I gave them a dollar once and they hung it above the door that goes into the kitchen. You can ask them if you want to see it. Hopefully it's still up there.P.S. I can't remember if it was lunch or Breakfast when I ate the grits.Kid-friendliness: They have a large selection of mock tails for people that are to young to drink.”

“We always love First Watch breakfast and brunch. The food is always good and the cocktails are great. It’s usually very busy, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly. Service was good, and food was tasty. We were charged $5 for a drink (Pellegrino water) which we never ordered or received and noticed other people were being charged as well. Besides that, no complaints. We will definitely be back.”

“Very good. I got the oxtails, white rice and plantain. It was delicious. The only thing I did NOT like is that when ordering on UberEats, they say that 2 sides are included with your entree, but they actually charge you extra for each side that’s supposed to be included. That’s very misleading. I would still recommend the food!”

“This is the best Trini food in the south! My husband is from Trinidad and we have not been able to find really good authentic food outside of New York until we discovered Dahn’s. Now we make the 1.5 hour drive when we can to stock up. I could not recommend this place enough! The owners are the most kind and generous people we have ever met and everything they make and do is with love.”
“I will stand by this place for life; if Umami's has followers then I'm a one of them, if Umami's has 1000 followers then I'm one of those 1000; if there are only 10 followers, then I am one of those ten; if Umami's only has 1 follower then I am that one; and if no one is following Umami's, then I'm dead or the world has ended. Umami's is the best Japanese food I've ever tasted HANDS DOWN. No other overpriced hibachi place could breathe next to their quality of food. I don't really want to write a review of this place because I can't handle this place being overcrowded when I want to go eat here, but I feel like the owners deserve it. As long as nothing changes in the flavor, pricing (I get inflation but come on) or the quality then this place will forever be in my top places to eat, period.”

Some reviews talked about expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for and this is quality smash burger with perfect balance on Carolina burger of slaw, great chili, and the other toppings on that perfect pretzel bun. As other reviews recommend, don’t miss the rosemary fries. I didn’t think the ranch was necessary they were that delish!”

We had the wings with the Asian BBQ on it. My husband got the ribs with two sides of Mac and cheese. My friend got the French Dip Sandwich. I got the All American Panini with a sweet potato with Pineapple and Brown Suger on it. We were all happy with the food. It had great flavor. The portions were excellent as well. Our Waiter was also excellent. I wish I remembered his name. He was very pleasant. We will be back again. :)”

Birthday ages 1-50, and all laughed, talked, enjoyed chefs, food, the friendliness of our hostess!! This was our second time to celebrate at Shoguns, but not our last. Our waitress was consistently attentive, polite, and incredibly helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience. Her service truly added to the enjoyment of the visit. The little blonde girl and the boy in the front were extremely friendly and super helpful. They didn’t make me feel rushed when ordering, answered all my questions, they accommodated my request really well and without making a fuss. The restaurant was quaint and cute, the prices didn’t seem unreasonable, the service was fast and I’ll definitely be back. I appreciate that the little girl went above and beyond for me too and was nice enough to ask me how many utensils I needed, if we needed an extra plates, the way she asked “Is there anything else I can get for you?” Vs “do you need anything?” She was polite and very sweet. And there are a few “popular” Mexican restaurants near our home. The food is what was always the disappointing factor.Now we have found a lovely little place that does it right. I will be taking some lunches there as well as the wife and I for dinners. It was delicious and all homemade.”

“This place is usually pretty empty when we go, which is suitable to my preferences. I always get their musubi and it always hits, just like their cucumber salad. The fried rice is basic, yet top tier. Their Fayetteville roll was quite a surprise to find on the menu so I obviously had to get it, being a local, and it was absolutely epic. I do have to say that this one of the better places in town!”

“Went tonight and ordered a double quarter pounder and single quarter pounder with cheese meal. After being asked to park and waiting approximately 15 minutes for my food, the young lady brought out the food but there was no salt or ketchup in the bag. I asked her could I get some and she replied yes and proceeded to go back in and get it. When she returned she had 2 packs of ketchup and 2 packs of salt and a side of attitude; this was nowhere close to being enough. I said 2 packs ma’am? As she’s walking away, so I said I’ll just come in and get it, she answered by saying the doors are now locked and she walks away. I don’t know if this is how they train them now but her attitude and customer service sucks. I’ve been going to that restaurant since before she was even born and I and whoever else decided to spend their money there, deserves more respect. If it’s policy that they can only give a certain amount freely, that’s fine but let me know, I have no problem paying for extra if I want it. I train people for a living, if yall need some help training staff, I’d be glad to help. Do better, we deserve better.”

Seriously we are strangers to them but they embrace us (esp my daughter) like family! They are the type of people you want to succeed and support because of how genuine and caring they are. I arrived at 3:50, and there was already a line in the parking lot. I am talking about 40+ folks, many of whom have parties of 5 or more. Once they open, they got us all in and seated, I was pleasantly surprised. I was even more pleased with the food and the overall service. I see why this place is close to 5-stars, and the staff there value their customers. The food was delicious, and the cooking was just amazing. The falafel was overcooked as well, but it paired with the taziki sauce and red chutney pretty well. My kids chicken tenders and fries were great. I do recommend this place and I will visit again. “Updated 3/2024, came here for lunch after a fun filled morning at the ballpark (easter egg hunt). Waited about 20 minutes for a table. Typical of most of today's restaurants they don't have enough servers for high capacity times after events. That was OK with us (several others small groups left as they didn't want to wait). Anyways, we were seated in the timeframe they stated. The server ended up being the bar tender who was hustling to keep up. He did an awesome job of keeping the bar running along with serving several tables. As we had three hungry kids he took their food order along with the drink order which was totally fine with the adults. The drinks came out first in a normal time frame and the kids food along with the appetizers very shortly thereafter. I'm not sure how he did this but we were all happy. He got caught up with his entire serving area and came back around and took the adults food orders. Those items came out in a normal time frame. Where am I going with this? In today's age you need to frame your expectations with your time allotted. Don't go to any restaurant after a high crowd draw event and expect off peak time service and attention. The bar tender (Robert W) made our end of the day chill down time wonderful.Now, about the food. The kids ordered burgers and fries with one order of a side of mashed potatoes. That was cooked to their liking . The portion sizes were good. The adults ordered Burnt End burgers and one had coconut shrimp. The burgers were large with a heaping helping of sauce and burnt ends. All our drinks were kept up with. The craft beer selection is very good.Lastly, based upon our overall experience I will give this outing a 5 star all the way around. “I had the most incredible experience, last Good Friday at Skibo Rd in Fayetteville. I feel the need to share. I visited the restaurant this Friday with my son. A special day to celebrate for us. We walked in an there was no one to address to get bus a table. I saw a bar and thought,.oh well maybe I can sit anywhere. But still I asked a staff member (ended up being the manager). He immediately smiled, welcomed me and asked me to sit where I pleased. I took a spot on a corner. We we're the only ones sitting there. I was unnoticed by accident. After a waiting considerably enough, I decided to leave without asking for help. (I SHOULD HAVE!). The manager saw me walking put and he immediately came outside, excused himself and promised a great personal service. All the personnel there excused themselves with me over the mistake. They came with smiles and offered to pay the bill. They addressed the situation as a mistake. I feel they did more that amazing. I felt the ❤️ LOVE ABOVE EVERYTHING. We all make mistakes. He offered to pay the bill. I negotiated a 50% LOl. Honestly I left the rest there. They deserve more than that. I am greatful for the service and for demonstrating such professionalism at managing a customer care service. I will go again today. I will bring my husband to eat the place. Because in addition the food what ? yummy ? the Waitresses was the sweetest too. THANKS AGAIN!!”

“I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesdays in forever. The staff was so pleasant. Cherika waited on us and handled the bar. She was so wonderful. Salad bar was great (clean, fresh and yummy).Pork Chops were to die for.I will visit again when in the area. So many places have lost the customer service aspect. Not here! GREAT JOB!”

“Stopped in while out doing some shopping - the atmosphere is so cute and the vibe is amazing. My friend and I both ordered a frappe and they were delicious. Although we did not eat, it smelled amazing and the food that was brought out to other patrons while we were there looked delicious. We will definitely be back for breakfast.”
