“My large friend group and I checked this place out for the first time yesterday. Melvin’s is a bbq restaurant that’s been in business for 4 years, going on 5 in 2027. We got seated immediately. The service was great, Samantha checked on us often and took care of everything. She explained everything on the menu and highlighted the best things to try out. The food was delicious! I had the brisket sliders and the chicken teriyaki rice bowl with baked beans and mac n cheese for my sides. My entree came with a small cup of ice cream at the end which was also very tasty. I highly recommend checking this place out!“

“We ate at this restaurant yesterday and it was amazing. After Church today, we brought our whole family. Everyone loved it. Our 8 year old said, “this is amazing.” Large family cost saving: order the Sweet Grace and share it between two kids instead of ordering multiple Little Grace plates off of the kids menu.“

“The biscuitville on Raeford road, the manager was moody and loud. She was openly correcting her employees, louder than it should have been. She addressed me with a slight unpleasant response. I prefer going to the Biscuitville on Green Street. The food is good.“

“I have come to this location many times (mainly through the drive through), but this is the first time I've experienced this type of customer service. I understand that people are up early and that this establishment closes at 2 pm, and people want to go home, but even though we arrived at 1:27 pm, we were rushed and made to feel as if we were not valued customers. Comments were made when another family came in after us. Plus, my husband ordered a English muffin breakfast sandwich and it wasn't even toasted!!! We ate and left by 1:50 pm but not with a good experience this time.“

“Food was good even though they were out of a few items. BUT CJ WAS THE BEST! Even though they didn’t have certain things she was able to accommodate and was nice about it. She was genuinely the best waiter that we have ever had here.“
