“I had a bacon Swiss burger and loaded fries. It was one of the best burgers I've had in town if not the best one. Perfectly cooked. Very tender and on a perfectly toasted bun. My only regret is that I hadn't discovered this place sooner. 5 stars all around“

“The service is excellent. I have never personally been here until today, I have only tried their wings before that someone else bought. So my mom and I went in there for lunch today looking forward to some wings and they just happened to be out, which is tough due to my several food allergies, however, I was able to get a hamburger which was delicious. As I was sitting there eating, the man that greeted and served us, came by with an order of wings for me which he went and picked up and then cooked all while i was eating my lunch. Not only did he do this within a 30-40 minute lunch break he did this while the restaurant was busy with several other customers. Now I don’t usually write reviews about restaurants but this experience has certainly made my day. The group of workers here did an outstanding job ensuring that I will be a customer of theirs as long as they remain a restaurant.“

“This place is great! Ms. Betty and her coworker as she affectionately called little bit were a great team! Protect Ms. Betty at all cost, she’s a true gem. We had pancakes, grits, eggs, patty sausage and toast. All was cooked to our request and didn’t miss a beat. The food was excellent, the service was kind and fast and the atmosphere was homey and welcoming! You must give them a try, we will definitely be back! Please support local/small businesses.“

“We had a great server her name is Kaila she was very helpful and kept us filled up on drinks.we had a small wait to get order put in but it was real busy when we arrived. We didn't mind waiting. Kaila was very nice and deserves praise for taking on so many customers“

“I just want to give a huge shoutout to TJ! My daughter dropped her hot chocolate mug and it shattered across the floor -- he was at our table, nearly instantly, and the first question out of his mouth was directed at her, "are you okay?" She was tearing up (hiding her face) and got on his knee, getting on her level, and reassured her that they have "a million more mugs", that she didn't need to cry, but if she wanted to, that was okay, too! Another young woman came to assist with a broom, reiterated more mugs in the back, and also shared that she dropped two plates...accidents happen. I didn't catch her name, though. Thank you, Miss! TJs compassion and kindness deserve praise. Oftentimes, bussers are overlooked but TJ shone brightly, today!! Undoubtedly, his response is a nod to his upbringing and kindheartedness. Thank you, TJ, you have 3 fans in us!“

“First time ever at a Kickback restaurant and we were blown away!!! We ordered two appetizers and meals. We found out the appetizers were a meal. Our food was amazing! The atmosphere was so much fun, nearly everyone in the place was singing along to the music. Our total came to 87.00 and we’ll worth it. Our server was so top notch. She was friendly and never once left us waiting for her. So thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience all around. More restaurants could and should model after you. “Every other time our food would be brought to us in just a few min. Today it took over 35 min., okra was overcooked, my chicken and dumplings had hardly any chicken, mac-n-cheese dry. They did offer free dessert to apologize for taking so long. I usually get the fried flounder which is great.“

I haven’t had it in over a decade since I’ve moved out of state, but I’ve been talking this place up since I’ve left and haven’t had a single bad experience from any of the 30+ times I’ve gone here. It’s temporary closed now, but when it opens back up, I highly recommend stopping by here for breakfast!“

“Loved this restaurant! We were traveling from Alabama and found this wonderful place. The menu has so many different options and everything is cooked to perfection. Do not miss out on the strawberry shortcake. It was amazing. Service and atmosphere were great. I wish I lived closer. A+++++“
