“If you love real Japanese food, you must come to Unami. This is a very Japanese Japanese restaurant. Sashimi for me with cold Sake makes my day a lot different. My wife loves their Yaki Soba, it is very authentic. Their shrimp tempura is fantastic. This is something that you will not forget for long time. We recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“Best place to celebrate Birthdays! Our family has gotten so large we honor Birthdays two (2) times a year: June, for Jan.-May then December, for July-Dec. Birthdays! It is a very mixed age group! Food delicious, Chefs (we had 2 )great, fun for all ages. Special Birthday drum and Ice cream and candle perfect for the 10 (Birthday Honorees). Birthday ages 1-50, and all laughed, talked, enjoyed chefs, food, the friendliness of our hostess!! This was our second time to celebrate at Shoguns, but not our last. “We have been looking for a Japanese restaurant to take the place of the one we usually went to which closed. We found what we really wanted at this restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable prices!! We can still split the meal because of the quantity of food!!!“

“Went to Hibachi Express this evening. Ordered the Steak and Shrimp Hibachi to go. The inside eating area appeared to be very clean. The workers very also very presentable. The kitchen from what you can see looks clean and neat. The food came with 2 side cups of Yum Yum sauce, choice of soup or salad. I got the soup (Miso). The soup was delicious and I could tell it was made fresh. The Hibachi was excellent. Their was more then enough Steak and Shrimp, I was actually expecting less meat then what was portioned. The vegetables onions, carrots, broccoli, zucchini was fresh, the Hibachi rice was cooked extremely well and had great taste. Whe sitting down eating this I got full half way threw and still found myself craving the taste. Will be back.“

“Got the hibachi chicken and shrimp. Hands down the best Japanese in Fayetteville. Not even the best part of my experience.Ordered through Door dash. My delivery driver had a ten minute drive to my location to drop off my food but after a 30 minute wait my food had yet to arrive. Called the restaurant to see what was going on. The gentleman who answered (they were closed at the time) talked me through what to do since I didn't have any idea. He even called back to confirm that it was cooked & picked up. Extremely kind and helpful. This restaurant has now became my "go to" for a wonderful, fair priced Japanese restaurant. Thank you for everything!“

“YALL I CANT EEM LIE this place is by far thee best sushi spot in fay. NC. The server was exceptional as well as service, food and prices. The portions are so big Id recommend splitting with a date, friend or relative. You know the whole ambiance is good when you tip $20 on a $30 bill. This is my new sushi spot. “Wow! As soon as I walked in I noticed that the establishment was extremely clean and tidy. The owner was extremely tentative. I ordered the shrimp Hibachi, and explained how I preferred my shrimp to be made, the owner made it to perfection! The portions are extremely sizable and the price is very reasonable. I had more than enough left over to eat for the next day. I definitely returned on Monday for another serving, however they are closed on Sunday-Monday, so I returned on Tuesday :-). I was not disappointed! I highly recommend this establishment for lunch and/or dinner! The menu is quite extensive with noodles, sides and appetizers to choose from. Go check them out! They offer delivery as well!“

“I've been going there for most my life. Cashiers and chefs are really nice and polite. Now I go there with my little daughter and they always talk to her, and the chef will do fun things to make her laugh, and I usually have help with the sauces if my hands are too full.

“We have happily traveled from Clinton to Fayetteville for over 20+ years to enjoy fabulous meals at Sakura. The service is always impeccable and the food first class. We often overindulge when we go but on those times, we make Sakura our only meal of the day, so I feel no guilt! It’s our favorite restaurant, hands down!“

“Best sushi in Fayetteville and I’ve tried them all. I’m a gastric bypass patient and In chemotherapy. I go through phases with food. This is the best sushi in Fayetteville! They even know me. When my order comes in they are expecting me or my husband. And they always thank us for supporting small businesses.“

“Fun place to get sushi, hibachi, ramen and other good food. A lot of their speciality sushi rolls are tempura based so I would’ve like a few more options of sashimi grade sushi. A little small and gets busy so make sure everyone is there on time to be seated. Food comes out pretty fast and service has always been kind!

“Upon entering the restaurant, we were a little confused since there was no greeting but there a sign that says “take a menu and seat yourself. Basically you order the food at the front register as they will bring you the food to your table. Food was flavorful and the portions were generous. The food also came fast. We ordered Chicken and Tenderloin steak, the kids bento sushi, the Las Vegas roll, the Rainbow roll, miso soup and a seaweed salad. About $80 check. I liked the place, overall. They could work a little better on table distribution and aesthetic but overall 4/5.“

“Here having lunch with my daughter right now. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and an avocado roll. Both were delicious. They were fast with our food and it was delicious. The young lady was very nice and checked on us often to make sure we were doing ok. Very quiet and peaceful little spot. Definitely will be back“
