“Sushi Suyu is our most FAVORITE sushi place in the triangle area! My boyfriend did not even like sushi prior to coming here and we love it so much that we (embarrassingly) go once a week! Despite being here numerous times, we have never had a poor experience or meal. A few of our favorites are the dumplings, sweet and spicy edamame, the Papa Salmon roll (a must have every time we go), T&T roll (light and refreshing), Road Trip, K Bull, Pisa Hut, and Sassy Girl, but truly every roll is good (we have tried them all)! Always happy to support and boast about Suyu!“
“Always amazing food. The chef clearly cares about the quality of food that he puts out. I always get the steak because of how tender and flavorful it is but the chicken is well seasoned and not over cooked like some other places in the area. My new favorite hibachi in the area. My only wish would be that the portions of noodles would be a little larger and to be able to customize what vegetables I can get.“
“We assumed this was going to be your typical RDU sushi experience. Nope. The food here was every bit as good as what I had in Japan. We ordered several dishes to try it out (udon, tuba tartare, chirashi, and a few specialty rolls) and all of them were absolutely delicious. I'm really looking forward to experiencing their omakase ?“
“Fantastic ramen joint. The broth is chicken based so much lighter than pork-based broth, but still extremely flavorful and satisfying. I preferred it as it's a lighter and cleaner taste. The black garlic ramen came loaded with tender char siu and flavorful chicken, with a soft boiled ramen egg. Lots of veggies as well to balance out the flavors. I also had the karaage which was nicely fried with a delicious sauce, but could have used a squeeze of lemon. Washed it all down with an ice cold Sapporo. Overall I loved the meal and will definitely be back.“
“I’ve only used the take out service and never dinned in. They have an excellent orderly process to hand you your food. Always fresh and they’ve never made a mistake yet! They’re always friendly. I’ve tried the pad Thai with pork with medium spice and I’m obsessed! Try it with the eel sauce (and don’t judge me!)“
“Truly enjoyed my dining experience at Kinoko! The food was delicious, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was very modern, clean, and relaxed. Highly recommend a visit!Vegetarian options: There were various vegetarian options on the menu.“
“Our favorite small Korean grocery in Raleigh. Great selection that is well-organized plus an AMAZING authentic restaurant with traditional home cooked food. They also have a corndog truck and Bungeo-ppang station with some bakery items as well. Upstairs is a perfect-sized Kpop store with awesome staff and a friendly vibe.“
“I ordered the Chef Kim's roll, the Crazy Crunch roll, the Dancing Eel roll, the Sreaming O roll, and the Himachi Mania roll. These were all great rolls. The one I liked the most were the Screaming O roll and the Chef Kim's Roll. The flavor was great and the fis was fresh. The other rolls were also great as well.I'll be back to try other rolls.Parking: Open parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is.“
“The ramen here is pretty good! Not as good as Miso Ramen, but the broth is still pretty flavorful. What made this five stars for me was the attentive server, the chill ambiance, and the speed our food came out. My spicy tonkotsu ramen was just fine. I liked my cuts of meat. The ramen eggs were good, too! Definitely will be back to try something else.“
“We have had Alie probably about 4-5 times now and it is delicious. Would recommend to anybody in the area, the service is great. Everybody seems so nice and the price isn't too bad. They have a lot of great deals, just got to look around!“
“My husband and I decided to try Okja for date night tonight and we had an amazing time! All of the staff members we encountered were kind and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful, the music was playing at a nice volume and the food was delicious! We had the steamed dumplings, Kan jja jang and the Korean fried rice with chicken. The meal also came with several banchan items. Everything was so incredible! Great flavors!I also highly recommend the lychee soju, it was topnotch??“
“I've tried other locations in the vicinity and have not enjoyed the food as I have at Dan Sushi and Hibachi. The service at DS&H is exemplary along with a smile. I enjoy their spicy combinations. The atmosphere is quaint and simple, which leads to gracious hellos from other patrons. Enjoy.Parking: The parking lot is pretty tight. DS&H shares a lot with 4 other establishments, so parking could be difficult at times.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, absolutely.“
“Hands-down, in my honest opinion, the best Asian restaurant in Cary! An amazing and vast menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options! The atmosphere is casual yet feels special and upscale! Great variety of cocktails, wines and beers on draft... The sushi station is huge! Clearly very popular among people in the community! McGregor village is very conveniently located and has plenty of parking! The wait staff are extremely professional, and don't loom over you, but at the same time, ensure that stuff arrives in a timely manner. This is overall an excellent place that we keep going back to!“
“A friendly neighborhood market atmosphere and a friendly man (owner?)..☺️?Jjajangmyeon, especially large-cut vegetablesThanks to the potatoes, it reminds me of old jjajangmyeon..Jjamppong is full of seafood, the broth is clear, and the spicy flavor is eye-opening ?. If I wasn't full, I would have eaten it with a bowl of rice..?✌️?The chicken is juicy on the outside and the salty and salty seasoning is delicious, but it is a bit disappointing that there is no chicken radish.. ?Tteokbokki was also served with plenty of vegetables and odeng...Chewy, spicy and sweet, but the fishy smell of oden is a bit annoying..A variety of groceries and cute goods that are rare in the U.S. are also on sale.. “
“When I say this is my favorite restaurant, I mean it. I am always overjoyed whenever I hear my wife calling their place to make an order and when I then go to pick the food up, the staff is always so friendly and polite. We’ve had one mistake happen with our order once but the lady on the phone was very helpful and helped us. Definitely recommend this place to others!“
“Delicious food and comfy place to eat, even with 2 small children. I had a hard time choosing what to order as everything on the menu sounded so good. My husband and daughter got the Yaki Soba noodles with steak and that looked and tasted so good. I got the Salmon and cream cheese sushi rolls with a side of fried rice which was also very good. Generous portions, comfy dining area, clean tables and floors, and nicely decorated.“
“Quick and friendly service! Decent sushi for a good price.Dietary restrictions: Wide variety of menu options to fit many dietary needsParking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly, staff was very accommodating for our childWheelchair accessibility: Yes, restaurant was wheelchair accessible.“
“A lovely place to eat with excellent service and food. It's a fairly quiet place with plenty of seating, a good sized menu and fast friendly service. I had forgotten they had monkey brains and if you love avocado and fish, it's delicious! Hadn't been here in quite awhile but was happy to find it was as good as I remembered.“
“I really enjoyed dinner here! I got here at about 5:10 and within an hour they were busy. The customer service was amazing! And the food was too. Literally the best katsudon I’ve had in NC! Will definitely be back to have dinner again soon!“
“It’s by far the best, fast food, shrimp hibachi in the area. Not too expensive, good quality, fast and they’re not cheap with the white sauce. They give you a big one to begin with and if you ask for another, they don’t act like you’re asking for gold.“
“I'm pretty new to eating sushi so I've only been here a handful of times, but I haven't been disappointed so far. I decided to try my hand at sashimi tonight and ordered the sashimi appetizer. It was quite good, with the (what I believe is, again I'm pretty new to this) yellowtail being the highlight to me. It is one of the more expensive appetizers, but I'd still recommend it if you don't mind the occasional splurge. In terms of sushi, I've found that I really like their eel so I usually get a dragon roll with eel nigiri.Overall a very good place in my opinion. I don't really have the budget for more expensive sushi places, but I haven't felt the urge to shop around at different places after trying this place the first time.“
“This place is absolute FIRE! I always get the large chicken and vegetables with extra yum yum sauce and it makes my whole week better. I’m obsessed! Highly suggest getting your nails done at top polish nails then walking next door to teriyakin it’s an unmatched “
“We have ordered from this restaurant twice. The broth in the Niku Udon is incredible; it is almost unreal how beefy the flavor is. Highly recommend; we haven't tried much else from this restaurant so it's hard to give a full review. We did get the gyoza this time and found them okay; I probably wouldn't get those again, but I'll definitely go back for the Udon.“
“Christopher was our chef and we really enjoyed when he was cooking because he made us laugh so hard. He is an excellent chef and he did a lot of tricks. It was a really nice experience and made my best friend’s first japanese steak house experience memorable.“
“We were so excited to finally eat here! We checked out the online menu before coming, and it said there was an omakase option for $85. When we arrived, we didn’t see that option on the menu so we asked about it. Our server said they could do it but asked us how much we wanted to spend. My husband said he saw $85 online and our server seemed puzzled by that amount. I’ve never been asked how much I wanted to spend on omakase so it was a little awkward and odd. The food was great. I had takoyaki, a roll, and a few nigiri pieces. My husband’s omakase spread was great and very filling. The Paper Crane cocktail was amazing, while the Okinawa Breeze was way too much raspberry. It needed something else to balance it out. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back, but I think there needs to be some clarification on the omakase.“
“My buddies and I have been coming here for years. It was about high time I wrote a review. What can I say? This place is delicious. I have not had a bad item here and it’s also affordable, and with great service. My usual go to is steak medium rare with chicken hibachi with the miso soup and ranch salad. Unreal. The consistency of this establishment is nothing short of John Stockton. If I were to ever worry about going somewhere else, ill be here.“
“If You are ever in the Mood for Awesome Hibachi Chicken, This sure is the place for it! The Food is Sure good and they give you a lot of Soft Rice and a Delicious Sauce with it. Try this place out and see what you think!????????????????????????????????“
“Best sushi in Raleigh, hands down. Genki has essentially made all other sushi places I've eaten at taste horrible. We drive 30 minutes out of our way just to come here instead of anywhere else. Most definitely recommend. Also the only time I ever leave reviews is when I'm leaving a 1 star so trust me, the sushi is bangin. Habachi is pretty average tho.“
“The service was divine. All of my needs were perfectly tended to my liking. Even though I had trouble deciding, I got help and thoroughly enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken. The portion size was excellent, and as for the price, it was a lot cheaper than I thought for the quality.“
“I thought the food was wonderful. Our order was taken quickly, the food arrived hot and the restaurant was clean. I was not offered a refill and I was annoyed with the server because she sat behind the register and was on her phone. Oh well.“
