“Tried out this place for the first time on 12/29/23. Upon entering, we immediately noticed how beautifully decorated this place was. It was also very clean. I think it’s actually very smart to pay upon entering. It also kept the traffic down as people were leaving. There is a large variety of food on the buffet and the price is great for the variety and quality. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The buffet was continuously replenished, and there was plenty. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were working really hard to keep the fresh food coming and had an excellent work ethic! Customer service was top notch. There is also a hibachi bar where you can have your dish made just the way you like it. The cook was very skilled and friendly. Also, they have a soup bar, which I really loved! My husband raved about the sushi and said he liked it just as good as another restaurant he visits that specializes in sushi. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for tasty Chinese cuisine!! It was our first time and will definitely not be our last! I’m so glad we found this hidden gem. We live in a different city, but the drive is totally worth it!“
“I’ve only ever gotten takeout here but it’s always very good! I think some people around here are just genuinely discriminating towards Asian people and aren’t going to like the food regardless if it’s good. Everytime I get take out the people near the front are always doing an amazing job running around doing everything. I’ve had a few mishaps with my food not being amazing but it’s always been very yummy. The inside of Yamato’s could maybe use a little makeover but nonetheless it’s fine. Overall very enjoyable place. Fridays and Saturday’s seem to be when everyone is there so I tend to not go on those days. Overall good place.“
“Food is delicious! The ambience, not a bit inviting. It doesn’t feel like you’re in a Japanese resto. But food is great!!! There’s enough space for dine-in. I noticed a lot of people dine in here or order ahead/takeout (not sure if they’re in DoorDash). Service is fast. Easy to park too. This is just in the coplex where Walmart Erwin is.“
