Popped in today forna sandwich at a new to me location. Apparently this establishment has been here since the mid 50's.
Very clean and friendly in person. Food is great. BBQ is NC style chopped pork with peppered vinegar sauce. Very good!!!

For a place that sells fried chicken, the wait time is ridiculous. If you plan on getting any type of family meal, plan on a 25-35 minute wait. I understand fresh made to order, but they take forever to serve a family size meal. The phone is always busy, so you can't place an order ahead of time to eliminate the wait. The chicken is great, but I feel they should be able to take orders over the phone or use DoorDash.
Babacue is really good and you won't be able to find fried Chicken any better anywhere.My wife loves the potatoe salad.All the sides are good.Fast service with a smile 😁.
