We visited recently for the first time. Good variety of food and drink options. Great atmosphere. The service was outstanding!
Given this is Fayetteville, I was really happy to be staying so close to this spot. I visited for a work trip, and ended up eating here twice for dinner. I had a steak burger one night and a platter the next. It all tasted great and I was overall very happy with it. They have great deals on drinks throughout the week, so make sure to check for the special of the day. I will say the mac and cheese was a bit bland/dry and disappointing, and barbeque shops should have great mac'n'cheese...read full review

Mac's Speed Shop is a must-visit restaurant in Fayetteville. The brisket, ribs, and burnt ends are amazing, along with the brilliant tomato and cucumber salad. The portion sizes may leave diners wanting more for the price. The excellent customer service, especially from the friendly staff, saved the day. The Mac and cheese was tasty once remade correctly, and the sweet potato fries and okra were good. The Sangria and Red Oak beer were highlights among the drinks. The restaurant handled a large group well, providing great service and delicious food in a clean environment.

The sampler and hush puppies were fantastic, and the ribs were the best smoked BBQ ribs many diners had ever had in a restaurant.
