“Went there on a Sunday around 5:00. The chicken was fresh, juicy and delicious. The hushpuppies and fries were very good as well. Definitely got what we paid for, I couldn’t finish all my food. The place was clean. I would come back definitely.“

“I eat lots of bbq and I have to say this one is right up there with the best. One criteria I have is the sides, and Shepard does an outstanding job with their homemade sides. Heck, who wants HT level coleslaw, right? When it comes to meats, this place shines. I tried their pulled pork sandwich and it was heaven. The roll did not become mush even when I soaked the pork with their delicious sauce. Huge helping of succulent and pork in it so please be hungry! It’s not hard to understand why Guy Fieri loves Shepard BBQ.“

“I got some saint louis style ribs that were good. What made him better was it was rib tuesday, where you could buy individual ribs for a dollar ninety nine each. I got five ribs and three sides for under twenty bucks, No drink. It was still more than I could eat. All of the employees were extra nice and I really enjoyed my stay.“

“Shrimp burger and fries. The homemade mango lemonade was a real thirst quencher for me. My mom sampled the shrimp burger and a week later was saying where is that Webo’s truck. Well we couldn’t make it to Burgaw in time so we headed to the restaurant across from the Legion Stadium in Wilmington. We were yet delighted😋 again with our meal.
