“Small local diner with a nice selection of fried fish and other assorted seafood. Featuring fried fresh oysters which were very delicious. I also had the crab nuggets which were almost like deviled crab that was breaded and deep-fried but, so unbelievably tasty!”

“My wife and I ordered Steak Fajitas to go. This is the 4th time we’ve done so, and they were outstanding, as always. (The hot sauce is hot!)! So consistent. The food temperature was hot, and so delicious. The portion of steak was incredibly generous! The refried beans and rice were (and always are) perfect. We’ve tried a variety of their dishes, and we’ve never been disappointed. The food at this restaurant is the real deal!!”

“I have been here at least 7 times now . Food is generally great. Cauliflower appetizer is excellent. Fish tacos were good but different than I expected. Burgers and salads and the fish and chips are great. I'm a bit of a NY pizza snob so I can't say that their pizza is outstanding but plenty of variety. Their wings, curly fries and sweet potato fries are great. Plenty of cold beverages, ie: brews and ciders to pick from. One thing I will say is that the wait staff is always excellent. Kim you're a rock star and steering us towards the lavender lemonade hard cider was a win-win. Thank you! I would never have tried that on my own because of the lavender. Place has been pretty busy and you might have to wait a few minutes but they'll get you in as soon as possible.”

“Had a delicious brunch from special guest Chef Tosha! Quiche, waffles, shrimp n grits and homemade biscuits. Lots of fresh fruit too! They did a special mimosa flight that was fun as well. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely return.”

“Great food! A little on the pricey side, but since I only go once every couple of weeks I'm fine with it. Considering what you get, it's definitely worth the money. I won't go to the other places, they don't compare to Five Guys. This is my burger and fries go to place.Parking: Parking lot is not big enough for the stores there.”

“Shrimp and grits were great. Raw oysters were good as well. The scallop appetizer was a little small, as were the scallops themselves, but still delicious. Lobster roll wasn't my favorite, although it was pretty meaty. i just prefer warm with butter to dip over cold. Egg white on the hangover fries was a little underdone but not to the point of being inedible. Although I absolutely hate undercooked egg whites, it's better than overcooked yolk in this instance. Went back twice since my first visit a month ago. Would recommend.”

“Ordered the chilaquiles w pastor via doordash since they were just added on there. First off, it's a TON of food, all packaged nicely for delivery. Very good flavor for the pastor, the pineapple was a nice touch. The salsa verde had great heat, probably the best I have had in this area. Rice and beans had a mellow flavor to complement it all. Will definitely order again and try other things.”

“Every time we come to town, we make a stop (or two) at Mimi and Papa’s. It’s been 6 months since I was last here, and Jordan remembered me as soon as I walked in today. This is a very sweet family with a spirit of excellence. The ice cream and popcorn are outstanding and reasonably priced. It’s icing on the cake to support a family-owned business! Can’t say enough good about this hidden treasure!!!”

“We stopped in on a hot sunny day for the best frozen custard we’ve ever had! The owner was very accommodating with our twin boys. She made the perfect sundae especially for them, and shared her story with us! Go support this local business, you won’t be disappointed!! Absolutely delicious!Kid-friendliness: There was a picnic table outside where we enjoyed our frozen custard!”

“Milly's serves Hershey's hard ice cream and Dole soft serve. The venue is super clean and the staff was very very friendly. Prices were reasonable as the size of a single scoop is tremendous so be aware of that as you may end up with more than you bargained for... But what the hell it is ice cream ? and good premium ice cream at that... Not gooey or gummy like some other ice creams. Give it a try you will not regret it!”

“My friends/family have eaten here for breakfast/lunch several times and twice for dinner. Staff is very friendly, professional, and efficient. Menu is fairly varied, and we have not had any issues with the way the food is prepared or tastes. The kitchen does need to pay closer attention to the orders put in. On two occasions, one of our parties asked for accommodation to her order, which was noted by our server. However, when the order was brought to her, she had to send it back as it was prepared without the requested accommodation. Otherwise, we always have a good experience.”

“I ordered from their truck outside of Seagate Bottle Shop while there for trivia night. I got the brisket sandwich with the pasta salad side, and it was honestly incredible. I believe it was an aioli of some kind that acted as the sauce on the sandwich, which was loaded with meaty (not too fatty) brisket and cheddar cheese. The bread was toasted to perfection as well, to check the texture box. The pasta salad was a flavorful and refreshing side, to change it up from the traditional greasy fries. Also -- they're awesome people and gave their best, honest recommendation on my order.”

“Friendly atmosphere, good conversation. Regulars are treated like family. They were closed because they had Covid and didn’t open back up until they were sure they weren’t going to expose their customers. It’s just run by 3 family members so there isn’t a lot of options to have anyone fill in. But I think that it is awesome that they put their customers before money. My old job didn’t care. They made employees work anyway. Excellent people and excellent food.”

“My daughter and I decided to have Jade Garden for dinner. They always have great food but tonight they really out did themselves. We ordered fried dumplings and they were huge and full of meat filling, Sweet and Sour chicken with pork fried rice and the chicken was so fresh and tender and the rice was full of veggies and pork! I also got the popper steak with pork fried rice and the steak was so tender and there was plenty of onions and peppers and sauce! My rice was also full of veggies and fresh! The egg rolls are amazing and usually don’t eat the egg rolls! Bon appétit”

“The coffee was slightly better than Starbucks but no good enough. The kid running the counter tried to convince to change my order because he didn't want to brew more of the dark roast at 10;30am. He seemed upset when I said I'd wait. My wife did love her strawberry banana smoothie though.”

“My favorite location! I go regularly and never have any problems. My order is always accurate (food is always bomb) and the drive thru is super quick compared to most locations.”

“If you are not watching your calories, Smithfield's is a fabulous place to eat. BBQ or fried chicken with sides of corn, Brunswick stew, fries, hush puppies, cole slaw. How can you go wrong. Chicken is fresh and hot and battered just right. BBQ is moist and flavorful. Great tea and banana pudding! This is good food and they give you great portions Can't go wrong !!”

“I visited Miyabi Jr. Express in Leland and ordered a Hibachi Filet mignon & Chicken with vegetables & rice. Out of 5 ⭐️ I would give it 4.8 ⭐️ For express hibachi, the dish had awesome flavor and honestly one of the BEST hibachi’s that I have had in the Wilmington/Leland area. I highly recommend Miyabi as I have also tried other food such as their bowls in the past and they were on point?? Customer service was top notch with a very welcoming atmosphere. There is also plenty of parking since the location is in a shopping center! You definitely need to try Miyabi Jr. Express??????Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are clearly labeled.Parking: Plenty of free parking located in a shopping center.”

“Can you say, "OMG!" Where do I start?! The mac-n-cheese was delicious. Seasoned well. The hush puppies had corn inside which made the extra texture, and all blended well. I'm not a hush puppy girl but those.. I would eat all day! The Brunswick stew was good. I would have liked the stew to be more thicker but the flavors came through for me. My family and I will return to try more items next time we're in the area.”

“Just left Jersey Mike's here during lunchtime, very busy. The staff was efficient and friendly. I have a real question about some of the poor reviews left here. Imagine yourself standing behind the counter with a line and people staring at you. A door Dash driver came in and didn't speak English. The young girl told him a red bag of Doritos and a blue Gatorade so he went and picked up a blue bag of lays potato chips, twice. A customer in line pointed him towards the cooler and gave him a Gatorade. Just shaking my head. If you were never in the service industry, you won't understand. I appreciate what you all do and I'll be back.”

“I'll make this a short review / my wife and I along with another couple went on 3/4/24 arrived around 4pm. We had not been to local's in some time. So here it is. Service was fine! Food was very good, and we all had something different. Beer very cold!Our server " Amy I think " who seems to be kind of a do it all gal here, was great, helpful and quick to refill drinks. All in all for a small local bar as good as it gets!!!”

“Been going by this Starbucks for literal years now. We were just there behind some AWFUL woman who was verbally abusing the Starbucks worker in the drive through because she didn't want to pay the drink price for the drink she was ordering. The barista was being so sweet and professional, but the woman told her she was going to call and complain anyway. I hope that they see this review, we told her we were sorry she was treated that way, I don't know how she wasn't in tears over that woman's attitude and the way she was speaking to her, and I do not understand the need to berate professional service workers that way. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this Starbucks, they are always kind, professional and very prompt! Thank you to this branch, it's my favorite one in the Wilmington area and I'm a regular to them all. Thank you!”

“I visited wok & Roll in Leland and ordered a Sesame Chicken with Shrimp Fried Rice, Szechuan Beef with white rice, Egg Drop Soup, and steamed dumplings. This is my rating for each dish: Sesame Chicken 5 Szechuan Beef 4 Egg Drop Soup 4 Steamed Dumpling 4.5 Out of 5 I would give Wok & Roll 4.5 One of the best Chinese express that I have had in the Leland area, and would definitely recommend! Customer service was top notch with a very welcoming atmosphere. There is also plenty of parking since the location is in a shopping center! You definitely need to try Wok & Roll”

“I was able to take my little guy here for his birthday dinner. It had been such a harsh day, but Rhonda’s friendly nature and going above and beyond was just what I needed. She added whipped cream to my son’s waffle and even got him a hat. She made him feel special and we had a good time. The food was delicious as well. Thank you, to Rhonda for everything.”

“i have eaten here so many times that i would like to consider myself a regular. i usually get a monster roll with no cream cheese and either chicken fried rice or teriyaki chicken . i also always get their clear soup. the food is always so good and you can tell that the people who make it care. the wait times can vary depending on the day, but i always think it’s worth it! i also dont have any photos of the food i’ve tried but thats only because it always gets eaten too fast for me to take one.”

“Saturday the place was so crowded there wasn't an available parking spot on the property. I parked at an adjacent closed business at 12:00pm and walked over and got in line. When I made it to the counter the young man taking my order was very pleasant in taking my order and even struck up a brief conversation with me and I found out that this young man was also a volunteer firefighter named Gabe. Shortly I got my food to go( exactly as I ordered) and left the crowded building with a smile on my face. I walked accross the parking lot and got in my truck and looked at the clock and it was 12:07. Seven minutes for two meals (my wife and I) Gabe along with ALL of his coworkers were very busy that day and they all proved once again that a restaraunt CAN provide quality, delicious, food, fast. A big Thanks and congratulations to the whole team and I will see y'all soon!”

“I love bringing my girls here. My picky 6 year old loves their chicken tenders, french frys***applebees**** has been making her more interested in trying new foods. We always each get a kids menu, so we can race one another. With the games, like the word searches we do ,while we wait on our food,to come out. You should try it! Post pictures of you and your family, and of course a picture of the ? winner in your family!!Parking: All parking it close distance to an entrance/exit. Clean and well lit.Kid-friendliness: My kids love it here.. super super fun and the waitresses are very welcoming and seem to interact well with my 15 and 6 year old daughters.”
