I always see her working and there was another employee a bigger guy working the register and he was so polite to my kids and last month the customer service was totally opposite. I ordered on line for the first time, and it was a smooth experience. I have never had a bad experience with the staff, I find them very friendly and accommodating.”

“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!”

“Fantasy Isle is fabulous! I have been coming to Holden Beach for many years and always visit here for ice cream at least a couple of times during our stay. I love their ice cream and have enjoyed several rounds of putt putt golf here. I love that they are trying to encourage you to visit their neighboring business even though that business doesn't seem to have the same communal attitude. Thanks for trying to be the "bigger person" Fantasy Isle!”

“It is clean, decorated with a lot of nostalgic mementos, they only take cash, prompt service, courteous counter help, good sweet tea, he cranks out a lot of burgers and dogs from that grill, and their link breakfast sausage is the best! Generous helpings, free drink refills, friendly atmosphere. It passed my wife’s scrutiny, so trust me it’s good.”

“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!”

“The best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! You can order a whole tray or individually. They give you delicious icing to pour over the rolls. The kids and adults absolutely loved them!!! I think my family would drive back to Holden Beach just for these. You can order them online and they will be ready to pick up when you arrive.”

“Excellent pizza almost as good as Ct's Pepe's which is where I learned about great pizza. 2 areas of improvement needed. 1) spread sauce and toppings farther out on the crust. 2) Cook the crust longer to get it brown or more cooked instead of soft. Needs crunch.”

“Breakfast Tuesday, 12/9/25, was excellent! Great food, fair price and they have liver pudding! Served a generous portion, grilled to perfection. My server Melanie was great as well. Very pleasant, always smiling and she kept the coffee flowing!”

“We stopped by on our way to Fort Caswell for coffees and muffins and we were so impressed with the friendliness and service that we stopped again several days later on our way home for lunch. The wraps were delicious, the pretzel was amazing, the tea and coffee made to perfection, even the cookies were heavenly. We will definitely stop again on our next trip.”

“Have been going to the Bolivia location the last 2 days since their opening (my kids LOVE the frozen hot chocolate before school)- the staff is SO exceptional and nice. This morning I was in a hurry and didn’t realize that I didn’t get the second muffin I ordered, I didn’t worry to call and let them know but within 10 minutes I had a notification that they had refunded me the blueberry muffin I didn’t receive. Most places would not have bothered. Because of this they will continue to have my business! ❤️”
