“I honestly used to not like this subway but it grew on me and now it's the only one I go to in the area. The girls that work here are nice the older ladies really crack me up. My food is always as I order and I order online a lot!”
“This was a good place to eat. We got a 12" pizza with sausage, mushrooms and baby spinich. It was good. We had an older man serve us and he showed that he was not happy to serve us. He treated others that ordered alcohol much better than us as we only had water. He was really nice when he first got to our table but when we only wanted water his attitude changed from happy to extremely annoyed. The hostess was very nice. The 2 salads they have are $6.99 each. Most of the items on the menu were $20 or more. Would I go back. Yes but I would watch out for that server.”
“Right on main street and very busy and small, service was good for the one server and the one cook. Pizza was good. I think it only has 6 tables so at lunch time many are turned away.”
“Went in for lunch on the 1st of October, Great customer service, very nice young lady making me and my family’s subs. I always see her working and there was another employee a bigger guy working the register and he was so polite to my kids and last month the customer service was totally opposite. Good job getting rid of the people who made that place horrible now I like coming in. Keep up the great work.”
“I love The Wok. Convenient, hot well made food.Yes, the dining room is still closed, but go get take out, it is a good meal. General Tso is great! The lady working there, is there sun up to sun down almost every single day. I am sure she has good and bad days, we all do. She and her family are just trying to make a living during a very difficult time. I like their food, my daughter asks for it pretty often and she is picky so if she is happy, I am happy. Yes, during the throws of COVID, times were hard, especially for people of their nationality working in the South. Let's face it, I am sure the lady behind the counter has seen 'some' at their very worst. Think about it, Really! Also,Prices are going up everywhere, products are hard to get, and if you ask for 'extra' or change the order, you will be paying for it!Have patience, have compassion. And if we are nice, I promise, it is reciprocated. Ask her how her day has been, say thank you. Your conscience is clear.I have worked food service before, people treat waitstaff like lower life forms. Not all do, but some. Just please, be nice.Enjoy your meal and if it isn't what you expected, that is okay, don't go back.”
“The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is always clean. The bakery items are always fresh. The 15 layer chocolate cake is delicious and always is the first to go at family gatherings.”
“What a hidden gem. I'm sure it was only slow due to the cold overcast weather. I will be back to this ice cream shop next time I'm near Holden Beach. Will sit around to enjoy the ice cream next time when the weather is warmer.”
“I finally made it into Aunt Irene's and it was 100% worth it! The gentleman that helped me was super nice and informative and the lady was so polite! When I go back I'm definitely going to try the famous fudge she told me about. This time I got the cinnamon bun which was great and the cream cheese icing was probably the best I have had. Their donuts were good and the icing was on point! I also tried the raspberry Danish type dessert and the apple cinnamon crumb cake which were also fantastic! Thank you for amazing desserts, the family and I will be back soon”
“Great lunch sitting outside on a beautiful day. Good menu selection. Nice service too, the owner perhaps? Dog friendly, outside at least. Too bad we're not local!”
“You'll find this great little deli on the section of Stone Chimney that connects highways 17 and 211 in Supply. This area of Brunswick County is a virtual food desert, so I'm super grateful for this locally owned and operated establishment serving up tasty sandwiches and salads with smiles. This is a no-frills deli in the best type of way. You order at the counter, then grab your drinks from the cooler, or the soda fountain. Fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea are also available. Once your order is ready, they'll call your name for pickup at the counter, then you can either take it to go, or sit in one of the eclectic seating areas - tables and chairs of all shapes and sizes. Be sure to save your order ticket. That's how you'll pay at the register when you leave. You can also pick up some extra chips or treats there too. The food is great. Hard to go wrong with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They also offer an incredible selection of salads. I can vouch for the tuna and chicken salad, and I look forward to trying something different on my next visit. My dining companions raved about the Bell Swamp - maple turkey and white American cheese on a croissant with lettuce, deli oil and cranberry mayo. Bottom line, the Lockwood Folly Marketplace is a worthwhile stop if you're in the area and want to enjoy lunch in a relaxed, casual setting. It's also a great spot for a meeting or an impromptu catch-up with friends.”
“This was our first trip out here to BSL and we finally stopped in for a drink! I was surprised that they offered a flavored Matcha Tea Latte, PEACH! So good! My wife got the 50 lakes latte and loved it!Thank you guys for the great experience!Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free snacks.Kid-friendliness: The outside seating is somewhat gated so it’s super easy to let the kids walk around.”
“This is THE place to your barbeque fix! The main entrées and the sides are always on-point. Before you leave, be sure to hit up their Sauce Bar to gather all the sauces and pickles and hots you need. Oh--and be sure to get a large banana pudding (or two) plus a medium cobbler of the day. You'll thank me forever!”
“If you let me give more stars I would this place is amazing Eric is one of the sweetest nicest guys he helps you if you're hungry and he makes some of the best food I've ever had thank ”
“Michelle and Lindsay were the people that waited on me. The food was delicious and even though the place was crowded and people were waiting, my food was presented hot and they kept the coffee coming. I'm retired military and I know what a good team looks like and they have that here. Michelle Gardner and Lindsay Hamilton should be awarded and commended for great customer service.”
“Great tasting cheeseburger & fries. Food was cooked and delivered perfectly. Service great, prices reasonable, overall atmosphere welcoming. I would highly recommend.”
“Food is fabulous and portions are unreal. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. It is a little small and can be a bit loud but you can overlook that. Its the only reason for the 3 stars. Staff if wonderful too !! Excellent !!”
“The food was amazing and the service went above and beyond. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who helped us, she was young and was probably the most helpful and charismatic person ever!! I highly recommend this place as a person here on vacation!! Don’t just get the Icecream, get some amazing chocolates too! The great girl who helped us recommended the BEST things ever and the chocolate peanut butter rabbit she said we have to get was the 10000x better than Reese’s!”
“What fun! Fairly priced and beautifully kept grounds. We felt welcomed and enjoyed ice cream after all 18 holes (one in victory, the other in consolation). They have a really cool photo wall where they have family photos of yearly regulars all the way back to the 80s :)”
“Arrived just before closing. Which I hate to do, but it's Southport, and there are limited options. The staff was gracious, nonetheless, and the good was really good.”
“I frequent The Office and I'm always greeted with smiling faces, great customer service and the food is great. The bonfires that they have are a great feature of the already great atmosphere. Highly recommend this locally family owned ”
“Vegetarian options: Lots of choices if you eat cheese ? and even some without ☺️Parking: Lots of spots ? ? ? ? ☺️Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level”
“Eating here is an absolute masterclass in how any restaurant worth its muster should approach great food and service: rotating all of its servers in helping tables on all servicing possible--including seating, serving of drinks, appetizers, entrées, and desserts. The food is impeccably delicious through and through and you'll find yourself coming back almost every outing you make both on and off the beach!”
“Outstanding food and service! Myself and a crew of military members brought in from around the world and operating locally had a large order of burgers and dogs catered. The owner took amazing care of us, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond. Everyone loved the food, would absolutely recommend coming to visit!”
“Unfortunately today's experience wasn't last week. The owner was all over the wait staff. The wait staff don't goof off - they work hard. It was uncomfortable to watch. The diners at the bar mentioned it several tomes and were telling the ladies what a great job they were doing. This is a diner that's been serving food for over 25 years. The new owners have brightened up the place. The food is solid diner food. Not fancy but solid. I personally enjoy the country fried steak with gravy breakfast.”
“Great place to eat and spend time with family and friends. I play free poker there every Sunday for 5 hours . I have had a few menus items. All have been good, even the pita bread and hummus and the pork grinds. I am planning to do something different every time. Last week was there smash burger over all it was messy but good.Trying all the different ciders and beers is fun. So far, my favorite is the sweet Carolina one.- enjoy see ya soon”
“Had a truly wonderful time. Food was delicious and it was a pleasure to meet and talk with the owners of this family ran business. Can not wait to try more dishes.”
“Best brunch burrito ever! Eggs, tots, Boars Head sausage, Chipotle sauce, cheese OMG Iced coffee was pretty good too.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, neither cafe nor bathroom.”
“Petronies is ok when pepes is closed...but pepes is the best pizza hands down in Brunswick county and I've had them all fro ny to Florida ..and other menu items represent that flavor and quality...I would really hate to see this hidden gem not make it here in our little beach town .,.prices are comparable to less desirable choices in the area but I'd rather pay the extra buck and get that overall quality....I just can't say enough...try it all,you won't be dissatisfied .Vegetarian options: With a few changes you can have a complete veggie menu”
“This was just getting ready to open the last time we visited Southport so I was excited to try it out when we got here this time.I wanted to try the mahi sandwich but it was sold out.. I had the chicken burrito- excellent and very tasty. Dont think mexican think chicken and rice with southern flair.Wifey had the pork salad and loved it too.The owen and cook came out and chatted with us for a few mins and it were both great local people. They said they change up the menu every so often so we will definitely be back.”
“Lunch today at 11:00 great service.Ordered the Pattie melt, burger in sour dough bread with grilled onions. Wow delicious and best burger I’ve had in years. Will order this ”
