“Excellent. The big burger combo all the way is great. The fried bologna sandwich awesome. Friendly service, clean and organized eating area. We enjoy it everytime. For those few who complained, maybe you're not used to good burgers, maybe you should stick with McCardboards instead. Keep up the good work Mankins, see ya again soon.”
“Great service. Great wings. Joe, the owner, is a stand up guy and very hospitable. The staff has always been welcoming and accommodating. Plus, it's a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!”
“I've been eating at this restaurant for several years when I'm visiting the beach, and find the food to be consistently delicious, and the service to be mostly really good. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Casa Bella, the burgers, the salads, and triggerfish (if it's available - offered as a special for the evening. I also really like the brownie a la mode dessert. This is a popular place to eat, so I find that at the height of the vacation season, it's best to get there early and avoid a wait. I also find that the service is best before they get super-busy. The staff works hard, but can get overloaded when big groups come in.”
“Petronies is ok when pepes is closed...but pepes is the best pizza hands down in Brunswick county and I've had them all fro ny to Florida ..and other menu items represent that flavor and quality...I would really hate to see this hidden gem not make it here in our little beach town .,.prices are comparable to less desirable choices in the area but I'd rather pay the extra buck and get that overall quality....I just can't say enough...try it all,you won't be dissatisfied .Vegetarian options: With a few changes you can have a complete veggie menu”
“My daughter and I share special memories here. I'm leaving the coast after 42 years June 2024. My daughter is flying in come April and we will have our final special time here. Thank you for the memories. ♡♡”
“This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. A quaint little mom and pop looking place. Clean. You can tell the owners care about their restaurant. The food was surprisingly delicious. We got the fried cauliflower for our appetizer. It was lightly battered and fried similar to a tempura style. It came with a warm honey sauce. My husband got a perfectly cooked filet with vegetables and it looked like it came straight from a fine dining establishment. I got the prime rib with new potatoes and green beans and was not disappointed. Again perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The horse radish sauce was just the right touch for the prime rib. We'll definitely dine here again.”
“Delicious. I had a cheeseburger and fried mushrooms. My friend had a hotdog. He said it was the best hotdog he’s ever had in his life. Large menu with a variety items a plus southern comfort food. 100% worth your money, affordably priced!”
“The food is very good and fresh. They have jersey rolls and always give you a side of some kind of oasts or macaroni salad. It's small, but it goes great with the sandwich.”
“These guys are the best of the best. These ladies will take care of you anyway they can. They are usually very busy during lunch and dinner. The line maybe long but it's worth it.”
“First of all- big kudos to Nicole/Nichole (sp?). She did a great job fixing some issues we had due to how busy they were.In general thanks to that good experience and I’ll come back to give them more business. Views are excellent and the menu is decent.”
“We haven't been in awhile but heard they had changed their menu so we thought we would go back. Actually it wasn't bad. Each time you go, you never know if the food will be good or average. This time it was good. The waitress was very personable, helpful, and entertaining. We tried both soup specials and they were both very good. I had the cranberry salad salad and it was great. Just enough. My husband had the turkey club and he enjoyed it. We will try again in the near future.”
“Take out. My Mom brought us to Silver Hill Grill for the 40+ years we spent at Holden Beach. The food has ALWAYS been exceptional. Visited 2 weeks ago with family. The scallops and oysters that I got were scrumptious, lightly breaded and not greasy. I would recommend this great place if you want wonderful seafood or home made burgers atbest prices in Brunswick county.”
“Being from NJ I’m very “pizza privileged”, that being said I usually don’t eat pizza outside of NJ or NY. Once I saw “New York Style” paired with a name like Patronies I had to try it. Home away from home. 10/10”
“I have eaten here 1-2 times a week in the past year and have yet to be disappointed which is absolutely unheard of. Great job everyone, thanks for the good food.”
“You'll find this great little deli on the section of Stone Chimney that connects highways 17 and 211 in Supply. This area of Brunswick County is a virtual food desert, so I'm super grateful for this locally owned and operated establishment serving up tasty sandwiches and salads with smiles. This is a no-frills deli in the best type of way. You order at the counter, then grab your drinks from the cooler, or the soda fountain. Fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea are also available. Once your order is ready, they'll call your name for pickup at the counter, then you can either take it to go, or sit in one of the eclectic seating areas - tables and chairs of all shapes and sizes. Be sure to save your order ticket. That's how you'll pay at the register when you leave. You can also pick up some extra chips or treats there too. The food is great. Hard to go wrong with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They also offer an incredible selection of salads. I can vouch for the tuna and chicken salad, and I look forward to trying something different on my next visit. My dining companions raved about the Bell Swamp - maple turkey and white American cheese on a croissant with lettuce, deli oil and cranberry mayo. Bottom line, the Lockwood Folly Marketplace is a worthwhile stop if you're in the area and want to enjoy lunch in a relaxed, casual setting. It's also a great spot for a meeting or an impromptu catch-up with friends.”
