“First learned about beaches four years ago. Just went for the first time yesterday. Wish I had gone sooner because it certainly did not disappoint. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak and two different burgers. The food and the service was excellent. I will certainly make beaches a regular place to eat whenever I’m craving a burger.”

“This place is amazing! After stopping by a few other local bakerys weve definitely came to the conclusion that this one was the best. The cinnamon rolls were so fluffy and fresh. Muffins were delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful and centered around Christ. We love it!”

“Fantasy Isle is fabulous! I have been coming to Holden Beach for many years and always visit here for ice cream at least a couple of times during our stay. I love their ice cream and have enjoyed several rounds of putt putt golf here. I love that they are trying to encourage you to visit their neighboring business even though that business doesn't seem to have the same communal attitude. Thanks for trying to be the "bigger person" Fantasy Isle!”

I was just coming to their page to make sure they were open tomorrow 😂 then it asked me if I’d recommended The Purple Onion. 10 out of 10 recommended!! I can’t recall ever having a bad experience here. And if I did, it’d be okay because we all have bad days every now and then.”

“This is a really nice layout, however I think the course itself is completely over rated. We played today. The greens rolled nicely but the fairways and rough were burnt out. Most of the ground around the course played like concrete and was super dry. I’ll give it a shot some day when there has more rain but it’s not in great shape now. PS the hot dogs are more expensive than an MLB ballpark, 10$ WHAT? And the pace was very slow as well.”

“Excellent pizza almost as good as Ct's Pepe's which is where I learned about great pizza. 2 areas of improvement needed. 1) spread sauce and toppings farther out on the crust. 2) Cook the crust longer to get it brown or more cooked instead of soft. Needs crunch.”
