The amazingly happy and kind servers taking time with each table , the kitchen staff smiling as they work , the great food being served ... and today home made eclairs were handed out to everyone in the restaurant in such a sweet way . I truly felt like I was at a family gathering (without the family drama 🤣 ) . They are doing everything right on every level . What an amazing experience you have created for all . “4 years after discovering this little gem, it is still our favourite place to eat in the Sunset Beach/Calabash area. they have the best clam strips I've ever had! The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. Did you know you can get your hot dogs fried? I learned something new tonight and it was a great discovery. Can't wait until October gets here so I can enjoy more delicious food!”

“Gravy is a nice country restaurant where you get great home cooked food for a cheap price. I recommend their Seafood Trio that comes with fried fish, fried shrimp, fried scallops, hush puppies, and two sides. Make sure you get it with their homemade cocktail and tartar sauces!”

“My wife and I saw the sign as we were coming from Myrtle Beach. We decided to try it and we're happy we did so. Had the Italian stuffed with meat, cheese and all the rest. Great roll to make it a fantastic grinder-sub. You need to go and get a fresh sangweech!”

“Love Carbo's & the owners Carol & Bo 💕. Yes it's a cash-only private-club bar so a very small membership fee as required by NC...& well worth it!!

I lived close by & frequented back in the 90s thru 2006 when I moved back to Ohio...I've also visited every time I was area (x8) & I love how it has remained the same friendly bar that welcomes all that enters! Many holidays I spent there & the owners would cook up a feast for those that didn't have family close by.

“We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. I ordered the house salad and Asiago pasta with Shrimp. He had the Seafood platter with flounder, scallops and oysters with coleslaw. Then we finished with the Tiramisu for dessert. The presentation of the food was wonderful. The service was great. There was no real wait time. The food was amazing! You have to try it!”

“To me, this is the best spot in Calabash to get breakfast. It's absolutely my favorite! The owner and her staff are always amazing very attentive and super friendly. I've never gotten a bad vibe in there. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits with a side order of smoked sausage, my husband loves the omelette and my son loves the Belgium waffles. I would love to give this establishment more than five stars. We will always continue to go here!”
