The amazingly happy and kind servers taking time with each table , the kitchen staff smiling as they work , the great food being served ... and today home made eclairs were handed out to everyone in the restaurant in such a sweet way . I truly felt like I was at a family gathering (without the family drama 🤣 ) . They are doing everything right on every level . What an amazing experience you have created for all . “4 years after discovering this little gem, it is still our favourite place to eat in the Sunset Beach/Calabash area. they have the best clam strips I've ever had! The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. Did you know you can get your hot dogs fried? I learned something new tonight and it was a great discovery. Can't wait until October gets here so I can enjoy more delicious food!”

“The food was good. Our waitress, a very young blonde lady, was not the most polite or patient but the young man who came to our table was very nice. My water glass had a crack in it sweater ran down my leg and into my shoe. My SECOND pwater glass also had a crack so water dropped into my lap.”

“Love Carbo's & the owners Carol & Bo 💕. Yes it's a cash-only private-club bar so a very small membership fee as required by NC...& well worth it!!

I lived close by & frequented back in the 90s thru 2006 when I moved back to Ohio...I've also visited every time I was area (x8) & I love how it has remained the same friendly bar that welcomes all that enters! Many holidays I spent there & the owners would cook up a feast for those that didn't have family close by.

“Has dinner here with a party of 12. Two birthday celebrations. It was probably one of the best meals I've had in my ten yrs down here. The service was awesome, food was marvelous. Atmosphere was terrific very friendly. I highly recommend the Grapevine for dinner or cocktails.”

“To me, this is the best spot in Calabash to get breakfast. It's absolutely my favorite! The owner and her staff are always amazing very attentive and super friendly. I've never gotten a bad vibe in there. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits with a side order of smoked sausage, my husband loves the omelette and my son loves the Belgium waffles. I would love to give this establishment more than five stars. We will always continue to go here!”
