Based on the reviews, Calabash Sweets & Ice Cream offers plenty of ice cream and gelato flavors to choose from, and the ice cream is very good. They also have a huge selection of candy, souvenirs, and fun calabash shirts with discounted toys. However, the service can be inconsistent; while some ladies were friendly, one poor young girl was not happy when asked to make an açai bowl. The prices are a bit spendy, with a med/small'ish milkshake at $11.99 and a small açai bowl for $13. The seating is limited to a few tables inside and a couple of benches outside. A major warning is that they will not allow paying customers to use their restroom.
