Long wait, then they tell you kitchen staff running behind? Incorrect order on customer beside us . Finally seated no server for even drinks! Left will not be back
We went for the first time last night and it was very good! We had the Captain's Platter and everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was great, we will be back.

The Wharf at Holden Beach offers fresh seafood with a great family atmosphere and wonderful folks. The food is delightful, outstanding, and truly wonderful, with many dishes described as amazing, phenomenal, and delicious. Specific menu highlights include shrimp and grits, flounder, fried shrimp, a shrimp platter prepared grilled and blackened, the mango shrimp wrap, blackened fish tacos, a poke bowl, the French dip, and an oyster po boy. Sides like cut fries, hush puppies with a special twist, and slaw are wonderful. The New England Clam Chowder is creamy, good, and phenomenal. For dessert, the homemade carrot cake is a delectable finish.
The service is super friendly, supreme, excellent, and exceedingly attentive, with staff that are a lot of fun. The beautiful outdoor deck provides a great view of the waterway, perfect for watching the sun go down over the bridge. The ambience by the water is great, making for a great experience. It is a beloved beach tradition with a welcoming atmosphere, even for dogs.
