“I had the carne con ancho and it was tender and absolutely delicious! My husband had the fish special that night (forgot the name) but it was equally as good. The chef and kitchen staff really go out of their way to make these meals a delight! We both had the high seltzer, which gave us a slight mellow buzz. Similar to a glass of wine. Had the panna cotta for desert. Fabulous!Vegetarian options: My friend had the Vegan Rellenos and loved it.”
“This is a phenomenal restaurant but I think what is missed in reviews so many times is five stars for the manager, Jeremy. Every time I go I watch this guy flow through the room greeting everyone and putting out small fires with such ease and grace. I would say Origins is Jeremy. No, I'm not related or a friend just an appreciative happy customer.”
“Super cool spot! Busy on Thursday night. The apps and pizzas were great and the service was outstanding. We had a party of aoind 15 and our server did not miss a beat.”
“The food here was amazing here! My partner had the “Mussels Mariniere” and I had the “Chicken Au Jus.” The atmosphere was quiet, intimate, and romantic. The service was pretty good. For dessert, my partner had the Crème Brûlée and I had the Cafe Legouis. We both loved the experience and recommend to anyone visiting downtown Wilmington!”

“As newcomers to the Wilmington area, we are always looking for great food, drink, service and atmosphere. Three10 did not disappoint. A quaint bungalow turned restaurant in the Brooklyn Arts District, with a small but inviting dining room area and a dining bar that faces the very organized and chill kitchen. The dining bar was our choice. Jill was our primary service person working alongside Claire. They were both excellent! Knowledgeable, professional and personable; not easy find, regardless of caliber of restaurant. I started with the cocktail "The One Where They Brown the Butter", which was bourbon based, had hints of sweet from the browned butter and brown sugar, although not overpowering. It was delicious and easy to drink. We started our meal with the Hushpuppies, Tuna Tartare and raw Oysters, all of which were excellent. The pepper jelly base under the hushpuppies was subtle but added so much flavor. The base of diced beets/sweet potatoes with the Tuna Tartare was seasonally fresh. The 2 NC blue crabcakes had a subtle cayenne heat, balanced with the creaminess of the celery root gribiche and made with the same base as the hushpuppies. Needless to say, we did not have room for dessert.....Overall, our first visit was excellent, not only for the great food but for the knowledgeable and friendly service. We will be back!”

“We enjoyed a large gathering to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The staff of Circa 1922 was amazing. The food was delicious! Everything was ideal! The food came out in quick succession, allowing us the perfect amount of time to circulate in between courses. Thank you to everyone who made this happen. We couldn't have been more pleased!”
“We were visiting from MT and had a date night here. The meal from the appetizer to salads, entree, to dessert was spectacular. We highly recommend! Non-plant based people would love this place too!”
“If you want to enjoy truly fresh, delicious seafood, then this is the place! One word... Outstanding! My compliments to the team. I definitely recommend this restaurant! ????”

“Did the pizza making class with Naim, who started Cugino’s Wilmington Location. We made our own pies and there were no left overs. Definitely grab some cannolis on the way out. Could not recommend enough.”

“LISTENNN... you have to try On Thyme for some of the best seafood around!!! You will not be disappointed; the fish is seasoned and fried to perfection! The customer service is excellent; friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor seating is beautiful and appears to be relaxing...The place gets packed fast....the line was jam packed to the door during my visit. Be patient, it may take a while to receive your order, but it's worth the wait! There's no parking lot, it's only parallel parking. You may have to park and walk up the block, but that's okay too ? it's worth the walk!!!”
“A great spot to hangout if the weathers nice and you're wanting a good drink or some food. I got the schnitzel entree and I was impressed! The beer was pretty good as well. Overall a nice little spot.”

“Great bar. Wonderful bartender. Knowledgeable, and insightful with the bourbons, which are plentiful, on hand. The best burger I've had in Wilmington. Double smash. Not to be missed. Looking forward to an opportunity to go back and trying more of the bourbons. Oh, the place was mostly empty. Kind of shocking considering the service and the decor, layout of the place. Place. It's got everything going for it except people.”

“I'M OBSESSED. This restaurant is insanely good with amazing service. Everything you order from the menu is a 10/10 and you really can't go wrong. Best Thai food in all of NC in my opinion!! Definitely try their Massman Curry and Pad Thai!”
“We were visiting from MT and had a date night here. The meal from the appetizer to salads, entree, to dessert was spectacular. We highly recommend! Non-plant based people would love this place too!”
“After hearing amazing things about this coffee shop for years, I finally stopped by today. I see what all the rave is about! Probably the best customer service in Wilmington. Everyone was so friendly! From checking on me to a free sample, I am blown away by how incredible this place is. I can’t wait to stop by again!”

“love a good neighborhood sandwich shop! The guy taking our order turned out to be the owner; super friendly, made sure to come over & see what we thought of our sandwiches. Lots of options including tofu/vegetarian. Good local brew selection. Seems like a spot the college students ”
“I tried Brent’s Bistro on 3/3/24. I did not have reservations, and I was sat immediately. I may have got lucky, so it is probably a good idea to make a reservation. We started with the crab dip. It was fantastic. It was loaded with crab with a lovely browned cheese topped with diced tomatoes and chives. Most crab dips that I try are loaded with mayo and not crab. Not this one. This is crab-forward and the best I have ever had. After the crab dip, we tried some salads. We ordered the house salad and the sweet pea salad. Both were excellent. I got ranch dressing with the house salad. It was homemade dressing. For our main dishes, we ordered the unique Grilled Mahi w/a honey almond basil pesto rub Served over Spinach risotto, Finished bruschetta tomatoes & balsamic, and the *Salmon Piccata: Sauteed salmon topped with a classic lemon caper sauce served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both dishes were fantastic. I do have to say that the risotto that came with the special was undercooked. Still, they handled it very well by immediately replacing it with some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had, so I did not ding them on the stars because it is undeniable their food is five stars. A note for wine drinkers is at least for our first visit, the amount they pour for a glass is very generous. As mentioned, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very nice and pleasant. This is a must-try if you visit or Live in the area.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.Parking: They have a free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair-friendly restaurant”

Cool indoor/outdoor area4. Pet friendly5. Good beer selection6. Cool events like drag brunch7. Good location with easy parkingSo yeah, it has a ton going for it. I'm making my way through the Wilmy breweries and so far it's near the top of my list. I keep coming back every time we're looking for a brewery to hang out at. It's got everything really.”
“Simply incredible. Don’t go in with preconceived notions of what you’ll order. Go with the recommendations. Indescribable dishes. Many kudos to staff, and interior designer as well. Bravo!”

“I have never experienced such wonderfully cooked wings and sauces that are just… wow. (Do NOT pass up the Parmesan Garlic one ?) Chicken cooked to perfection is putting it lightly. 10/10/10/10. Good job y’all.”

“We went Tuesday for the half priced entrees and had such a great time. The braised short ribs were fantastic and paired perfectly with the red wine flight. The best part of our night was the service. We were taken great care of by Scout and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Highly recomme ”
“Literally the most amazing place I’ve ever been. Amazing for birthdays, after work chill, and weekend fun. Staff is super entertaining and friendly. Owner is amazing and extremely charming. The up front person Bunny looked adorable in their outfit and is very confident telling me about the establishment’s story. Very immersive and so much fun. 10/10 would go again”
“Tried this family owed local place for my birthday dinner. What a great spot. Food was awesome. Joanna our server was fantastic along with the overall experience. Will definitely be back.”
“Totally on point from the food to the service to the ambiance. Definitely will be returning next time in Wilmington! Btw, you were recommended by Blythe at the Mad Mole Brewery.”
“Yum!!!! Sushi was delicious and service was spectacular. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the sushi be prepared.Edit: I came back for round 2 the next day!”
“Excellent service. Was in a hurry with only a short break from work. Isabella helped me with the menu and what to order for a quick turnaround time. I was in and out in record time and had a great meal. Looking forward to bringing the whole family here when I can.BTW, I tried the place next door first but the person told me they had no idea how long it would take and that they could not guarantee anything. I left and went to Tidewater.Too bad the first place didn't have Isabella. She was THE reason I tried Tidewater.”
“First time at Port Land Grille, and the service was impeccable, the manager (Eric) came by several times to check if we were enjoying the food and if there was anything we needed. The food was amazing. I had the spinach and chicken lasagna and my boyfriend had rib eye steak (which by the way was cooked perfect) , we shared a spinach and pear salad , I highly recommend it and we also shared crab cake. 10 out of 10. The servings were very generous and the cost I believe was comparable with other restaurants in the area. We will definitely be going back. Thanks to all the staff for their great service.”
“One of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. I had the pork chop and sweet potato. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and creatively spiced, sauced, and accompanied such that it reminded me of a Sunday BBQ picnic in the park while still being sophisticated and delicious.”
“Even taking out there's an atmosphere of the restaurant that makes you want to come back to dine in!Vegetarian options: Salads, vegetables served hot, not just lettuce salads, fresh fruit availableDietary restrictions: If you order anything with a dietary restriction, they will say they can or offer an alternative.Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk is accessible as well as the tables.”
“Social Coffee is one of the best coffee shops ever! They have incredible and delicious unique drinks based on the season and really good coffee that they roast on-site. Not to mention, their merch is always on point! Definitely a great place to go if you are in Wilmington.”
“I sat down at the bar for happy hour and Grace was a fantastic bar tender and conversationalist. It is nice to interact with genuine people when you are on the road.Parking: Plenty of parking”
“I had fried pickle ? burger and it was OK. The burger lacked seasoning but was cooked well. The fried pickles were soggy, not crunchy and not very flavorful. My wife had the pepper jack shrimp ? sandwich and it was yummy! We also had the Parmesan garlic broccoli and the broccoli ? was overcooked for my taste. Service was fine given the place was quite busy. Overall very good not great.”
“Tried this family owed local place for my birthday dinner. What a great spot. Food was awesome. Joanna our server was fantastic along with the overall experience. Will definitely be back.”

“Found them on doordash and decided to give them a try. The beef empanada was probably the best I've had outside of Puerto Rico and honestly doesn't lose by much. The roast pork mofungo was also delicious. Pork portion was generous, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right. Mashed plantains were also on point. Will definitely be ordering again.”
“Pink Baking Co. did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Even though we only ordered a small cake we were treated with the same care as if we needed to feed hundreds. We even had dietary restrictions. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was also delicious. Thank you Pink Baking Co. for being a part of our special day!”
“Ethan was a friendly and attentive waiter. Such a wonderful team member. Also spoke with other sweet and friendly staff members. One is so dedicated to her job, she left her 3 month old baby at home on Xmas to work. Will return again , soon.”
“My wife and I recently visited the Osteria Cicchetti for an appetizer and a drink to just relax and have some "us time". We sat in the bar area at a high top table for two and our server was Danielle. She was friendly, polite, helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable but not rushing us. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, a glass of white wine and a Stella Artois. Everything was just right... Danielle bought us over some Italian bread and Flatbread, which we both like. I added some olive oil with sea salt and black pepper to my dish so that we had some dipping "sauce". All in all we both really enjoyed our visit to the O.C. for an appetizer and relaxation time.”
“Queen was a queen! Best Waffle House experience I’ve had ever. Everyone was so nice & chatty we loved it! If I ever want Waffle House again I’ll drive three hours to come to this one! Love you”
“We eat here at least once a week. This Waffle House has always been good, but it is now better. Not sure why, but it’s our local WH, so that’s good news for us. Our waitress Kristen was VERY nice, polite, diligent, and generally fantastic at her job. They are normally pretty good, but she’s our favorite.”
“Everywhere was crowded for our large group so we came here. The food was spot on, service could not have been more amazing. The staff was so friendly and upbeat! The best Waffle House experience we have ever had! Well done!”
“Consistently delicious!!! If you live for some good eats with a side of grime, this is your place. You won't find high credit scores and bachelor's degrees lurking around the overflowing molten waffle stations...but you will find deliciousness, sarcasm and a plethora of bad jokes from the staff - and that's what we're here for!!! ? 24 hours a day, you can get your fix!”
“What can I say. It’s Waffle House. It is good consistently and the employees are always friendly. This is a good Waffle House. The pecan waffle with honey syrup is the best. Be sure to get your hashbrowns cooked well and all the way. Enjoy the Waffle House experience.”
“I am the "Wind-sucking HOT French Fry Guy", and the Drive-thru experience at this McDonald's reached the Pinnacle with me on ALL levels ???????! For starters, they LISTENED to the specifics of the order: HOT FRIES and no whipped cream on my Chocolate Milkshake; and then the bag was handed to me with the "Warning: be careful those fries are HOT ?!" Sidel (KS# 13), you are to be commended for your courteous service and attention to details; and your compatriots on staff DID McDonald's Restaurant #5871 PROUD ??????????????! Whenever I am in your area of Market Street or even REMOTELY CLOSE, I WILL BE COMING THROUGH FOR ANOTHER TASTY MEAL ??! To the Management of this store, you are in the company of impressive associates who are very well trained; thanks for making my LATE LUNCH such a pleasant meal! ?????? My hats off and I bow at such excellent service! ??”
“So they told me I couldn't get a cheeseburger happy meal with my McDonald's rewards??? The others I've gotten were with cheese no problems.Dietary restrictions: Stuff more diabetic options”
“Have trouble getting special orders right. Hardly any condiments on sandwiches. An okay McDonald's because if you tell them the order is wrong they will fix it fast. Pleasant staff.”
“Wow, wow, wow!! This was an all around amazing meal. We came in on a Friday at about 5:30pm. The hostess was very friendly and got us a high chair and let us pick our table. It's a good sized restaurant with Italian themed decor and a large bar area. It was casual and inviting. Our waitress was so nice and sweet talking to my baby boy. She knew to ask for his order first. Kids have 5 free meal options and 5 meals under $7. We also ordered their brussel sprouts appetizer from the feature menu right away. They were so crispy and I liked the balsamic glaze. While we looked over the menu she brought us the best rolls with herb butter! So good! We ordered the stuff eggplant, the Gorgonzola chicken with whipped potatoes and the angel hair pasta with Sunday sauce. All the entrees come with a salad. Their dressing is made in-house and they were very good. Our meals came out hot, flavorful and fresh! My son's meal was huge and perfectly cooked. The chef came out and also said hi to my son and joking asked if he liked the chicken. He smiled. We had so much food that we had leftovers for another meal. We just didn't have room for desserts but they sound delicious. I definitely plan to come back and try more of their menu.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Stopped in for lunch because we had a hankering for some raw oysters and a beer. Wait staff was super friendly and did a fantastic job. Ordered some oysters along with their po boy pizza and some curly fries. Beer was good and they had a good selection to pick from. Nice indoor seating area along with some outdoor seating if you like.”
“The coffee is consistently delicious. The staff is always genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is so unique, I don't know why you'd want to sit anywhere else to relax and have the BEST CUP OF COFFEE!”
“A very clean and well merchandised location with a wide selection of dessert options that will make everyone in the family happy. The location was convenient to the hotel and the selection really surprised me. I have not been to one of these stores before but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely seek them out in the future.”
“FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Came from in from out of town thanks to a friends recommendation. I ordered sopes & an agua de jamaica, it was all DELICIOUS!! I am definitely taking my husband when we go to Wilmington. The service was great, they kept checking up on us to make sure we were doing okay.”
“Ordered the wing sampler. Very good flavors, well cooked, excellent value. Also tried the crab rice. Good flavor and value. Ordering on the web is a little quirky. Excellent service at the window. Ready for pick up when promised. I will definitely return.”
“Been here multiple times, always amazing! The owner is always around and checks in with guests, guaranteeing that any mistakes are taken care of and that you have a great experience! They also have a small patio where you can eat outside with your dogs.”
“love a good neighborhood sandwich shop! The guy taking our order turned out to be the owner; super friendly, made sure to come over & see what we thought of our sandwiches. Lots of options including tofu/vegetarian. Good local brew selection. Seems like a spot the college students ”
“The fried chicken dinner was delicious and juicy! I can't say enough about it! It was enough for 2 people! The Mac and cheese delicious! My daughter got the fried chicken and waffles she only ate half, but she loved it! Again enough for the next day! My husband got the chicken pot pie he didn't love it. I would go back for sure. Please watch where you park! Biggest pain in the neck! You can't park along the waterfront. You can only park at the end of the brick building (chandlers wharf) and then you have to scan the code inside of the rooster and the crow and remember your license plate for parking. They do give you a few hour credit. But after searching for a parking spot we then had to go move the car! It was just a pain. But did was very good.”
“This is the only place in Wilmington I’ll get my boba after coming from a high density boba shop area in DC. It’s the best boba shop around and their sizes are good match for the prices. I usually get them door dashed but today I went in to see their store. Super cute store! Very nice workers and super fast service. Brown sugar milk tea is my favorite. The tea is super well brewed and they have great boba texture.”
“Dropped in for dinner. Picked the original chicken salad croissant sandwich with provolone cheese and a side of poblano Mac and cheese. The sandwich was delicious; did not have an over bearing taste, very mild. Also, the restaurant has a perfect sanitary score of 100.”
“Had another great brunch today. Our server, Patrick, was excellent and gave really spot on recommendations. I tried the shrimp and grits, the andouille was a nice addition. Good atmosphere, always enjoy.”
“I sat down at the bar for happy hour and Grace was a fantastic bar tender and conversationalist. It is nice to interact with genuine people when you are on the road.Parking: Plenty of parking”
“This place is amazing! Highly recommended coming here and trying the stuffed pretzels. Staff were amazing, atmosphere was amazing, and food was amazing. What more can you ask for !”
“Deceivingly modest exterior of a family run Peruvian fair with delicious food. Mini empanadas for a starter then three entrees, each with distinct flavors and great sauces. Please try the mango habanero sauce with oregano. Not on the beach, not a tourist trap, not another gyro and spaghetti diner although there are burgers on the menu if you must. We’ll be sure to go again next time we are in town and try other menu items. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, clean restrooms and plenty of parking.”
“Service was great! We sat outside since the weather was nice. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. My husband got the Trash Burger and loved it. (It’s a big customer favorite we hear!) So nice to have a family meal out where everyone had many choices and left the table satisfied. Will definitely visit this place again soon! Many thanks to the owner for such a greatPlace to eat!”

“This is the only place I have found that serves up lobster in warm butter on a roll. It is delicious. I have tried other lobster rolls, always served cold with mayo. Comparing prices, Maine Lobster Roll is less expensive. The bisques and salads are also very delicious.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I love Blue Cup ! I stop on my way to work and get in and out in less than 3 minutes. They’re very friendly. I usually get a chocolate chip muffin with an iced coffee add oatmilk. Today my muffin stuck to the wrapper when I got to work and they replaced it on my lunch with a coffee cake muffin. Long story short I’ll be getting my usual but with a coffee cake muffin now. Thanks guys :)”
“We had a great table outside right near the pond. Downside is everyone comes near you during your meal to take photos. The daytime experience was great in sure the evening is awesome with the lights.”
“Lovely, lovely little coffee shop with the absolute best coffee and goodies and the nicest staff. I'm so glad they are so close to my home and that they remain there all this time.”
“We LOVE Augustino's!I love the pizza & ceaser salad. My wife loves the pastas & lasagna.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. We've even seen a kids birthday party here.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access”
“Love DQ. Been getting ice cream there since I was a baby. This particular DQ is window service only so not so great during bad weather and if you don't get there at the right time there are long lines at all windows.”
“Awesome food. But wait can be long. The drive trough can be horrible. The food and polite employees make things ok to deal with.Wheelchair accessibility: Places for parking and for them to sit and eat. Very accommodating”
“Some of the best hotdogs I've found! The chili was delicious. My boyfriend, who only favors red dogs, even loved them. Inside was very clean, service was quick and friendly. The price was very reasonable. We will come again next time we're in town!”
“Smithfield’s is always consistently delicious with clean restaurants and super curtious employees. The food quality is always very high. Just please please please put some bananas in the banana pudding. Southerners know there should be actual bananas in there rather than banana flavoring and they notice it every time. That’s my only criticism.”
“My family and I drive over an hour each way just to get pizza from here. CAMERON, LILY, JIMMY, BELLA, & DONOVAN ARE THE VERY BEST! Everything we have ever gotten here is great and extremely reasonably priced. However, the customer service can NOT be beat! They’re quick, accurate, personable, and make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The app is also a great way to go. Our orders are ALWAYS ready to go, and fresh with our special dietary needs met. Plus our pit bulls LOVE their plain cheese pizza ?. Thank you all for always being there for us, especially for me, when I don’t feel like cooking. ??????”
“Just spoke with "Robert" at the College road location and what a helpful gentleman. I'd only had their Thai Chicken Pizza before (which is out of this world delicious) but I wanted to try something new. He gave me some good ideas of what he likes and I'm going to branch out tonight with something new. Not sure which pie yet but I have faith that it will be as delicious as the Thai chicken one. Purpose of this review was really to just thank Robert for his patient customer service. It seems that more and more places are putting their customer service training aside and just hiring rude, unprofessional people who feel like they're doing you a favor. What a breath of fresh air to talk with someone who obviously has a passion for his job and will go far in life, no matter what road he takes.Thank you Robert, you're a good man and sometimes the simplest things make the biggest differences in life. Have a good weekend and tell your bosses you deserve a big fat raise!-Michael in Leland”
“Susan is amazing and the staff at this location. I shared with staff the meal I was picking up from Smithfield was a reward for a young teenager who accomplished her weekly school goal. Smithfield’s provided a free banana pudding and said to let the young girl know Smithfield’s was also proud of her work. This is what differentiates fast food chains- the staff and service. 10/10!!!”
“Livers and gizzard fried to a crispy deliciousness and buttery, honey coated biscuits. A Perfect meal to share with that friend you've been driving around who may have had 1 too many ?”
“First experience at Port City Java, and had two great cappuccinos to go. Perfect froth and a shot of vanilla syrup, made for the perfect travel buddy. Price was reasonable and the baked goods looked tempting. The staff was pleasant and they also had a drive thru window.”
“I stopped in because I needed a fast coffee fix. I received quick and friendly service. I had the iced Caramello Leche Macchiato and was pleased with the quality and taste. No complaints!”
“Go to this location 3 or 4 times a week. Always a great experience. Staff is always nice and service is all ways quick and correct. The rewards program helps me save a couple bucks. My girls love the smoothies too. party”
“I have celiac disease and was struggling to find safe places to eat on our vacation. Looked online and found out they had a gluten-free menu, so we decided to give it a try. It was amazing. Staff wad amazing and educated on celiac disease. First restaurant I've been too that asked if I wanted the grill cleaned and gloves changed. The atmosphere was great as well. The eggs Benedict were so good. We stopped again on our way home and they remembered us which wad great!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu and they will clean space and change gloves if you ask.”
“I highly highly recommend this restaurant! I've never had Peruvian food before and im so glad i did tonight. The whole chicken meal is the way to go!!! The greenbeans are super tasty. MADUROS is super yummy. Chicha Morada drink is fabulous. The food is reasonably priced. Let's make sure this restaurant stays in town.”

“First things first Salita makes a delicious pizza, they have a lot of really interesting and unique pizza options and fun flavor combinations to try.Their pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and that flavor can't be beat. They are located in the middle of the cargo district and you order from their take out window. They do not have an designated seating but there are lots of options of where to sit in the area. The pizza came out pretty quickly considering it is made fresh and took around 15 minutes. The only reason they are not receiving 5 stars from me is the price, it is a little steep. All of the pizzas from my knowledge are about 10" and the prices vary from $18-20 (except for the margarita pizza which is $13) per pizza. Whether or not the price is worth it is up to you, but I certainly think they are worth giving a shot because they are some excellently crafted pizzas.”
“Got the portobello burger was wishing it was a hole portobello mushroom but it was minced and mixed with other stuff was tasty. Also came with plantains which were really good”
“The space is so deceptive! It’s small when you initially walk in, but when you walk out there is such a nice space to sit. We sat by the picnic bench’s and let the kids run around! The food is prefer for what you get, but it was good.”
“Do yourself a favor and order the jalapeno cheese kolache!! It was so good. Their beignets are soft, fluffy and served perfectly hot. I tried the snickerdoodle latte and was not disappointed! This is a super cute shop, dog friendly, and worth a visit!”
“Hands down this is our favorite pizza & wing combo in Wilmington!!! We absolutely love their hot & honey pizza and their Mack’s sweet & spicy BBQ sauced wings!!! Everything is so fresh and delicious! The owner and the staff are always so polite and friendly! I highly recommend this place!”
“Been for breakfast several times. Always good! Love the omelets! Never been able to make a decent one myself, so it's a real treat! Toast is good, as I experiment with exotic breads. And the servers are all very friendly and efficient. As a kid, I worked in a Kosher deli in Portsmouth, Va. This place is top notch as well.”
“We came pretty early (before 10am)and it was a full house, but no real lines and food was ready very quickly. Based on the signage at the restaurant it must get busy as the late morning crowds wake up.First visit and wasn't expecting the fast casual style, but really enjoyed. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful.Food was really good. Fresh and hot and everything tasted delicious. It is heavy and rich food though. Wouldn't be a meal for every Sunday, but a great spot for a fun brunch or breakfast with a group.”
“Great outdoor patio area with lots of tables and an area for a band to set up for live music. Good selection of bottles and cans from NC breweries and beyond. Parking is pretty limited with about 6 spots directly in front; otherwise you'll need to park on the street. They had about 8 drafts on tap, but wish they'd had more singles available of the four packs they had for sale so you could try one before spending $20.”
“This is the best Hibachi/Teriyaki place in town. The food is amazing, but the staff here is even better. The food tastes great, they serve it up fast with great proportions at great prices, but the staff will leave you coming back. They remembered my name after like, 2 visits. I was just getting some condiments to-go and the staff was going around behind me checking on everyone and making sure they all were happy. You really should check this place out if you haven't already.”
“Dirty Dans is such a cool spot! The new management is awesome. Alicia is your girl if you stop by. She was so incredible and I definitely recommend checking this place out.”
“Absolutely delighted to share my experience at boombalattis from the moment I stepped inside, the attention to cleanliness was unmistakable and I was kindly greeted by the staff. The staff deserves every bit of praise for their exceptional service. Each member greeted me with a smile, offering recommendations with genuine enthusiasm, and let me sample a ton of flavors. Their dedication to maintaining a spotless environment and ensuring every scoop of ice cream was served to perfection was truly commendable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, boombalattis stands out as a beacon of delightful flavors and immaculate service. I got chocolate cream pie and coffee cookies and cream on a waffle cone, whereas my friend got the chocolate near death sundae. Both were delightful. A must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a sweet escape!”
“Such a fun place to enjoy a drink and/or dinner! They have 3 bars in total. Anywhere you sit you will enjoy watching volleyball competitions in the sand on the many courts they have. Food is ”
“Wow. This was the best place to stumble into on my way through Wilmington NC! My mum and I still dream of the s’mores and tiramisu lattes… to say I was impressed would be an understatement. ? I am looking forward to my next trip to Maven.”
“Beautiful coffee shop on the corner downtown. I am slowly learning the beauty of quiet mornings with a delicious London fog while working through some projects. The baristas are lovely human beings and the atmosphere is perfect! Comfortable, calm, and inviting.”
“I love that this is my neighborhood cafe. They have the BEST fried chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. I love their garlic Parmesan fries with the Alabama white sauce. And not to mention they may have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted. I usually take out but I’ve also eaten in and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I will continue to recommend you to everyone and keep coming for my biscuits!”

“Best lobster in town! Love when Christine is working, she takes extra care to make sure everything is perfect with a smile on her face! She is the best! She loves our dog and sends me out with a little treat for him every time I stop which is once a week!!!!”
“Great atmosphere & service. Dimly lit, candlelight, private balconies available. Amazingly lemony pesto, delicious burrata ravioli. Better Italian than I’ve had anywhere near Raleigh in 2 years. Aracini needs a bit more salt. Tiramisu was to-die-for. Best I’ve had since I left Chicago, nothing near Raleigh compares. Smaller portions but filling. Few vegetarian dishes.Vegetarian options: Not a lot but everything that is veg is really good.”

“I love coming here for a quick bite to eat. It’s always so refreshing and delicious. The people working are super nice and I always have a great time talking to them. The lunch special is awesome and if you aren’t a super big eater, the kids portion is awesome too. Their boba is really good too, I love the unique flavors like Durian. This is by far my fave neighborhood spot!Vegetarian options: You can get tofu instead of fish and other options for bases and most of the toppings are vegetarian friendly.”
“Easy to find, plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, both of which are dog friendly! Service was super friendly. Very kid friendly, as they even have toys for them to play with. Good selection of beers, but IPAs seem to be their specialty. Nice, welcoming environment. Definitely recommend!”
“Our server Ritchie was very polite and prompt. The seafood (flounder and shrimp)was fresh and delicious. Perfectly cooked calabash style. All the sides were good and the sweet tea was not overly loaded with sugar.”
“We walked in by chance and I’m glad we did. Everything was very fairly price, the food was good, the wine was great. The best part was the ambiance. I really felt as though I was back at a wine bar in Rome. Bonus that the owner was very friendly!”
“We had a great table outside right near the pond. Downside is everyone comes near you during your meal to take photos. The daytime experience was great in sure the evening is awesome with the lights.”
“The best shrimp tacos. All their food is great. Service is spot on& they play great music. They saved my wife & myself during the pandemic, served hot good food pick up. ”
“I cannot even begin to say how great this place is. We are from Boston but are getting married in Wilmington. We picked Quanto Basta for our rehearsal dinner and flew down to see the space and try the food. Everything including the service was incredible. Highly recommend the braised short rib and shrimp scampi risottoAmazing for dinner and a private event!! Reina is also incredible to work with we love her”

“Nikki was amazing and took care of our table. We were introduced to some new items that we haven’t tried yet and it was all delicious. My personal fav, the Brunchwrap supreme never disappoints!”
“First time and we will return. Food was elevated but affordable. Range of wines and mixed drinks, also priced well. It’s been hard to find a restaurant in Wilmington that offers food this good at this price. You won’t be disappointed.”
“While visiting the amazing Wrightsville Beach, and celebrating an upcoming Birthday, we searched for the perfect place for dinner, views, food options, reviews, location, with option to dress up. Bridge Tender hit the mark! I made reservations online, super easy. We arrived to a beautiful handwritten card thanking us for choosing them!! Wow! Our server, I believe Philip? was so attentive, informative, helpful with menu. We have some gluten & nut allergies but that was not an issue. The meal was spactular! Chowder was out of this world, salmon was perfect, chicken so tender! warm bread on the table & lots of wine/drink options. Not a flaw to be found, and we can’t wait to come back!!! Well done & Thank You!”
“As a seasoned melting pot fan, this was a great location! The restaurant offered a great ambiance and accommodated to private seating. I enjoyed the food as well as the wine selection. The service was fantastic and couldn't t have asked for a better experience.”
“Wonderful menu selection and the seafood is super fresh. The specials seemed superb but I already had my heart set on something else. Very inviting and open atmosphere. They even have live music on Friday nights!”
“I met a friend here for their Flights and Bites, which is Wednesday and Thursday night where you buy a flight and get a free bite. It's a very cool, modern and trendy place. We sat at a table near the bar which had the the coolest teal lights. Our server was nice and gave recommendations on people's favorite bites. The wine flights were 3 different types of wines from the same winery. I'm not much of a wine connoisseur so it was fun to taste and compare. They were all delicious and a good variety of flavors. For bites we had the pimento cheese which came with these flaky crackers and pickled veggies that made a perfect addition. We also got the focaccia bread w olive oil. Super soft yet crunchy. I wish there were more. The hostess did bring us more crackers when we still had more pimento cheese which was so nice. They also filled up our waters non-stop. It was a perfect place for a girls get together. And it would make a fun date night spot.”
“Crusty Italian bread to get started. Our pasta entrées were both excellent. The mouse cream puffs & chocolate bread pudding were out of this world! Service was excellent too. A date night winner.”

“My wife and I had a late (for us) Friday evening reservation (7:30pm). Glad we left home and arrived early as parking was difficult to come by and we ended up parking at the market street garage. We arrived shortly before our reservation and a table was available shortly after. It seemed to be fairly busy, but certainly not at capacity. We ordered an app and it was quickly ready. Our server was attentive and she ended up apologizing for the wait as our main courses did take an unusually long time to arrive (almost an hour) after our appetizer. The portions were unusually large for an upscale Italian restaurant. Generally upscale Italian tends to prioritize visual appearance over quality portions. I'm happy to report you won't go home hungry here. All and all the food was pretty good. It isn't cheap and it isn't somewhere to go if you are in a hurry. Your paying $30+ for most entrees, so again the portion sizes help with the value. It was our anniversary and they gave us a nice canoli with a chocolate "Happy Anniversary".We had a gift card and there was some issues with the internet and it further delayed our getting out of there, but our sever was very kind and apologized numerous times for all the waiting, so my huntch is in general it isn't as slow moving as we experienced. It was just before 10pm we finally walked out.”
“Excellent atmosphere and casual environment to kick back and listen to live music with friends and have a few tasty brews...would recommend the coffee and cream and the hefeweizen.”
“After spending 5 hours buying a car at Mazda, we stopped in here for a late lunch. Ordered the lamb chops, nice sweet flavor. Fries were perfectly salted. The Caesar salad was way too soggy. Mine was with chicken, my daughter had the plain. Looks like most people come for the drinks. Service was 5 stars though. Plenty of parking.”
“This microbrewery offered mostly hefes and stouts when I was here. There were a few pils and their tradeship IPA. They offer lots of open seating both inside and out. There are a few shuffleboard tables. If the lot at The Venue is full, there is another lot immediately after.”
“My blacked catfish sandwich plus sweet potato fries were delicious.. her Strawberry Fields salad plus shrimp likewise..Service was also great and thank you..! Recommended to include a view of the waterfront.”
“Casual atmosphere with friendly employees. Delicious lobster ravioli. Reasonably priced. Delicious bread with meal. Just visiting but so happy we found this place. ☺️Parking: Plenty of spaces. We could have walked from our hotel.”

“This is my fave restaurant for a special night out in Wilmington, so when it came to choosing where to have my birthday dinner, it was a no brainer. An hour before the reservation, my babysitter had to cancel suddenly. I called the restaurant to ensure it was ok if my 2 year old joined and they assured me it was. I cannot stress enough how WONDERFUL the staff and chef were- even making himButtered noodles and giving him a condiment cup of his favorite - cherries! I was so stressed going into it but had no reason to be at all! Insanely good food and the kindest ppl. Thank you all so much.”
“Google only let's me select one option but I have eaten there 7 times now in a month with dine in, carry out, and Delivery. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Jesse Was my server, she did an outstanding job. My breakfast was superb as well. I had bacon, a custom omelets and biscuit with gravy. The wait time was normal, and delivery was on point.”
“Highly recommend! My large family (party of 18) dined here at the last minute on a Friday evening and this was, honestly, one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have ever had. After being told by another seafood restaurant in the area that they could not accommodate our party, we called Hieronymous and the friendly staff welcomed us in with open arms. We were seated immediately in a room upon arrival. The wait staff was friendly, fast and accommodating. Everyone’s food came out timely and looked and tasted great! They were even happy to take family pics of us when were done eating. We never felt rushed even though it was late and we knew the restaurant was closing soon. We were all in Wilmington for a funeral and this experience was definitely a positive ending to a tough day for us. We are in Wilmington often and will definitely be back soon!! Thank you Hieronymous management and staff!!”

“What a fun dining experience! We met up with friends and had a table reserved in the bar. The bartenders waited on us; they were knowledgeable, personable, professional, and did a wonderful job reading the table to make it a lovely evening. The specialty drink list was a bit bourbon-heavy, but they had a very good selection of liquors and wines as options. I enjoyed my rose and the others did their cocktails, as well. The food menu is split into small and large plates. Though in general the portions were on the smaller side, the food was so flavorful and satisfying that one choice from each of the two sizes was enough for each couple to share.I did not explore the whole restaurant, but it apparently has several smaller (private?) dining rooms, in addition to tables around the bar area and several outdoor tables. We had a great experience and look forward to visiting again.”

RUMCOW.
“LOVE RUMCOW! We had family in town and were trying to find a place for dinner (no reservations) after we were told 30 min wait, the owner Jen chased us down the street and said she had an open table for us! Creative food options and everything is delicious.”
“Amazingly good meal on Monday evening 4/15/24.The cook did a phenomenal job on the steak and chicken. I haven't eaten at this spot in a couple of years. Now I'm mad at myself for spending money on meals at other establishments that's just rushing orders out for monetary gains.I truly recommend you try this place out for dinner.”
“One of the best happy hours in all of Wilmington with quality food options. Personal favorites here are the jalapeno egg rolls, Genneroll, firecracker shrimp and coconut lemon grass soup. For specialty cocktails, the blueberry ginger mojito is light and refreshing.Vegetarian options: Options for everyone here including vegetarians! Can order every curry veg style.”

“Lindsay was our server tonight and let me just say I haven’t had someone so personable and attentive. My other half is somewhat of a picky eater and also has allergies to certain foods and Lindsay was so accommodating. The food was beyond expectations and I don’t typically take time to review but tonight was memorable enough…”
“This is our second time and we LOVE El Chingon! Best Mexican food in Wilmington! Everything we have tried is fantastic, customer service is great, clean establishment, and has lots of different food options for everyone!”
“A perfect date night experience especially for the sunset viewing, great drinks & food selection, experienced bartenders that provides excellent service, all round a great selection for a fun ”
“It was so wonderful on so many levels! First a delicious glass of red wine and the butternut squash soup. It was so creamy and rich it was a meal itself! Then blackened mahi mahi with sweet potato puree and sautéed spinach. With the first bite so many flavors popped in my mouth! I haven’t had a meal this flavorful in many years. And I have traveled the world. My partner as well. And we both agreed. The atmosphere, food, and staff is top notch! Highly recommend!!!!!”

“One of my favorite cocktail bars in town ! Always such fun and delicious cocktails ! I love how they’re always changing up the menu! The fries and sauces are so good !love the view on the boardwalk the sunsets never get old ! I always look forward to a night out here , or a Sunday funday . The owner is so nice and always so friendly behind the bar .”
“We are from NY and the food, staff, and atmosphere at Roko is top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant for absolutely delicious Italian food and desserts! Happy 12 year Anniversary to Roko & many more!”
“Coolest place on the riverwalk! The salmon blt is amazing and the crinkle cut fries are the perfect crisp and not greasy at all! Enjoyed eating on the river and the gorgeous view!”
“The pizza was some of the best I’ve had. The manager talked to me for a few minutes as they were closing. Very nice guy and cared for his team. This will be a regular stop for me from now on.”
“One of my favorite breweries hands down. They have a great taproom and Hanna is one of the best Cicerones in the business. So don’t miss this hidden gem on military cutoff- boathouse rd.”
“My first time ordering from Brooklyn Pizza and our calzones & garlic bread were absolutely delicious! The veggies, cheese, garlic & sauce were so fresh & flavorful! I definitely will be ordering here again! And trying the pizza & other items on the menu next time.”
“As always, the food was amazing. Little Dipper has a broad selection, and even has vegan options. The staff and servers are attentive and amiable. A definite recommend for adults and kids (the kids love that they can have cheese and chocolatefor dinner)!”
“This is a strange review. Why? The overall rating is higher than the individual segment. Why? The beef tartare! The STAR of the night. The lemon puree brightened the dish and married the flavors of the pickled fennel, black garlic aioli, capers, and smoked trout roe. The beet tartare was also a treat. The candied pecans played well with dill sour cream and apple vinaigrette the mustard and capers brought a briny flavor that leveled out the sweet notes, but the smoked goat cheese brought them all together. The oysters were interesting, with vodka sauce parmesan bread crumb. The Blackened Shrimp & Grit Grits lead creamy stone ground grits. The seared greens tasted as though they were blanched before they were seared. The ratio of celery root and sunchokes to shrimp was more on the veggies side. I ordered a side of black eyed peas and collards. The collards were cooked well. I like a more vinegary collard. There was a sweetness that looked to level off the vinegar taste. The sweet was a little much for me. The black eyed peas were fresh and bright. I like mine cooked a little longer, but you could taste the farm to table on these. The sides came out at the end of completing my entree, which was not ideal. The server seemed nervous at the beginning of the service. Warmed up towards the middle and got swamped with tables at the end of our service. My wife had the pork chop, i didn’t try it. I knew better. She didn’t offer like she usually does? The seating was tighter than my liking, but the parties closest were very considerate, we all keep or volume down.Vegetarian options: Lions mane steak & beet tarts, butternut hummus”

Beer Barrio
“Tacos are amazing. Recommend trying the Ahi Tuna and you can't go wrong with the Corn Ribs for an appetizer. Great beer selection and the service is great. We will be back.”
“Mardi Gras dinner was delicious. Everything was wonderful. Shrimp & grits were a major standout. The seafood boil had so much to offer. The freshly shucked and fried oysters in the Po Boy from three little spats were assembled with perfection, and that bread!?? The King Cake made from scratch was fantastic. We will be back again soon.John’s Sazerac- best cocktail in town.”
“This was my first visit to this location and first time in a Bonefish. We ate supper early so it was not busy at all. The host and waitress were very nice. The waitress was especially knowledgeable with the menu and very attentive. We shared an Imperial Dip appetizer which was very good. We also shared a meal of chicken and shrimp which was also good. Moderate pricing. The restroom was a little funky but functional. Overall restaurant atmosphere was great. Would visit again.”
“The long wait was a little aggravating but had delicious food. I had the ravioli. I must say the food was delicious & they have one fantastic bartender back there. John's friendly personality and amazing bartending skills made our dinner truly unforgettable. We had a reservation but the wait was so long. but I can tell you that I'm so glad that we didn't miss out on this experience. I'll definitely back soon.”
“The tables are too close to each other on that long bench. The food is good, but there is no atmosphere. I feel I am a part of others' tables due to the close seating. It is hard to have a private conversation.”
“I have eaten there before and the experience is always exceptional. Friday night and a full house (yeah)! No other Mexican restaurant like this in Wilmington. I had family with me from Raleigh and they are foodies so I picked El Mariscal for something they might not have been to in Raleigh. I was right. BRIAN was our waiter and he was excellent. Everything was fresh and straight from the grill or oven. Careful, the temperature will be hot when you are served. Wonderful margarita, especially the skinny. The medium size is huge. Three adult entree’s, three margaritas, chips and guacamole, plus tip for $100. (By the way the salsa and guacamole was perfect, not overly spicy but plenty of hot sauce condiments for those with a taste for heat). We had the Mojarra al Gusto, (Whole fish Tilapia) three different styles, which came with a very nice rice side and small fresh salad, and a piece of Texas style garlic toast. It was fantastic. Next time I’m getting the octopus for sure. Desert looked inviting but no room after that dinner. We all highly recommendAfter 6:30 you should probably make a reservation, on Friday anyway.Kid-friendliness: Adult menu with kid items. Great family place as you will see when you go.”
“'All you can eat sushi ' is a no brainer. We enjoyed their wide selection of sushi. Reika was an awesome hostess and offered few great sushi recommendations.”
“Solid place. Great ambiance, food and service. The food has always been delicious and well presented. We have had everything over several visits. From pizza, to salads, to pasta and more. All beautifully prepared from a chef that seems to care as much about flavors as he does about presentation. Take a look at some of these pictures!”
“What can I say about El Cerro Grande other than it's simply the best spot for scrumptious food and unforgettable family moments! My first rendezvous with this gem was back in sixth grade, on a Spanish class outing at a location that no longer graces Harris Teeter on Wrightsville Avenue, way back in the mid-90s. Since that fateful visit 30 years ago, I've been absolutely hooked! El Cerro Grande will always hold a special place in my heart, not just for its mouthwatering dishes, but for the amazing times I shared with my family during middle and high school—we practically made it a tradition to visit once a week during those years! And now, I'm thrilled to say that I continue the tradition with my own young family. They love El Cerro Grande just as much as I do! Even though my father passed away years ago, whenever my brother is in town, we make it a point to meet up with our mother and indulge in the comforting delights this restaurant has to offer.El Cerro Grande isn't just a restaurant; it's a cherished part of our family's story, a place where we come together to celebrate life and create lasting memories. Thank you for all the wonderful flavors and countless cherished moments!”
“We have dined inside here before and were very happy with the portion size and taste of our sushi. But, today we ordered take out for our son’s birthday and were very disappointed with the size of the sushi and how bland it tasted. We spent $50 for lunch for 3 people and received enough food for 1 1/2 people. I had to cook more food because we were all still hungry. Maybe it was due to take out instead of dining in, I am not sure.”
“For the 2nd year I was the Live Entertainment for their Annual Great Gatsby Gala; and needless to say, it was and I had an ABSOLUTE BLAST! The Members have been so very appreciative and supportive of the Show my Business Partner and I perform, and I look SO MUCH FORWARD to each year we are asked to return! The Staff Members are the absolute MOST FRIENDLY AND CORDIAL and have been like extended family from one year to the second ?????! I'm VERY HAPPY AND GRATEFUL for my NEWFOUND FAMILY at the City Club of Wilmington ?????!”
“Solid Restaurant with a good variety menu. Wait times can be a little lengthy but that’s expected from a sushi place. Not too bad of a choice for an area filled with great restaurants.”
“The food is amazing highly recommend the burgers had one last night with the delicious asparagus! The lobster rolls are to die for! Great job to the team and Anthony!”
“This restaurant is beautiful and has an incredible menu. Chandler was an awesome bar tender, so knowledgeable and caring! Highly recommend this spot and incredible service!!UPDATE: I came back for brunch and could not have had a better experience! The food selection is incredible and the mimosa flight was so much fun. Sam and Josh are fantastic bartenders and made the trip that much better!”
“We were the only customers at the market st location, so that was a little odd because this place had amazing and fresh food! Service and food were excellent! We will visit again soon!”
“Fantastic beer, super nice and helpful staff. Great low key location. Wasn't super crowded when we were here. Had a nice deck too. Needs games though. It would be a nice addition to at least have a foosball table or some corn hole or something.”
“Lonestar is Lonestar but food was cooked perfectly ate at the bar. Bartender could’ve been more attentive or nicer. Everything came out quick even though it was crowded and it was better than many other fancy restaurants in the area and ”
“We loved it here. Cute little spot. Atmosphere was great & the views of the river were a plus. The food was fantastic. We loved the crab dip appetizer. We will be back for sure.”
“Cantina like atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Entrées were appealing to the eye and did not disappoint. Prices are in line . All on all a very pleasant experience and I would recommend.”
“So many choices! We shared a crab, shrimp and sausage steam pot and it was actually too much . You can get various steam pots or buy various seafood by the half or whole pound. Prices are a little high but we'll worth it.Parking: Restaurant is in a shopping center so plenty of parking.”

China Wok
“I’ve had tons of Chinese take out in my life. From south florida up to Philly and out west in San Fran. I’m pretty basic with my order. It’s always sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and white rice. I just got done eating my order and when I say it’s the BEST Chinese takeout I’ve ever had I mean it. If it’s not your go to spot in Wilmington it should be!”
“Quite the experience, we really enjoyed our meals, non of us were fans of the buns but that was a minor issue at best. Only 1 person of the four needed a to go plate as we all finished our meals. We will go back.”
“I just moved to the area, so this was my first time coming here. When I walked in, everything looked very clean the building was very nice, and as I made my way up to the counter I did order a customized salad, and after I picked my lettuce type, I noticed all the toppings which were a lot, but I did not see any kind of names for any of the toppings, so I was very unsure as to what a lot of the stuff was and I did inform the lady that I was new here and I’ve never been here and she just proceeded to give me kind of a nasty look so I was very uncomfortable and overwhelmed because I couldn’t tell what a lot of stuff was. Once I got all the ingredients and that I could recognize the person that shuffled my salad around, kept giving me a nasty look. Other than the service, the salad was great and there were lots of options if you know them all!”
“Food was good, service was good, thank you We had an array of vegan and vegetarian items to share with a large group and all the vegan items I ate were delicious.”

“A fabulous dining experience! Beautiful ambiance, very friendly staff and exceptional food. We had the short rib which was huge with beautiful presentation and sauce. I had the Wagyu fillet and it was perfect. Portions were very large for us so we shared the wedge salad & scalloped potatoes. I never share, but glad we did after discussing portion sizes with our server Grant. He was very friendly, attentive & responsive. The manager came by to insure we were satisfied. Glad to know we have another fine dining restaurant in Wilmington..in my opinion the best dinner we have had locally.”
“Great place for events, weddings safe parties people here great management awesome so welcoming to all please people book your weddings and anniversaries here as well awesome awesome awesome place”
“We chose this restaurant due to the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The waitress recommended the shrimp and grits and they were the best that I have ever had; creamy and perfectly seasoned. My husband got the fish and chips , which were actually fries. He still enjoyed the beer battered fish. Most people don’t comment about tea, but their tea tasted freshly brewed and not overly sweetened .”
“My lunch was $11. Got Tofu Pad Thai that was THE BEST I ever had! This is my new FAVORITE Thai restaurant. BTW, the Thai Tea is AMAZING! Server was wonderful. The restaurant is very casual yet elegant.”
“Port City Nutrition is amazing. the Location is central so it is convenient from anywhere is Wilmington. My fav combo is the Banana Nut Muffin and Beauty Bomb Combo!”
“No exaggeration, this is the best restuarant I've ever been to. The food was absolutely amazing. Try the Raviolis and crab dip. Boyfriend said the blackened catfish is the only catfish he's ever loved. The drinks were too good! I recommend Queen Anne's Revenge. The waitstaff was so fun and helpful. It was nice being inside out of the wind. And the interior was gorgeous. Such a wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner.”
“I was looking around for good dinner spots downtown to go to with my son and husband when a friend recommended Bourbon Street— i'm so glad I went! Such an amazing atmosphere and my family loved it too! Our server Michelle was the best, super attentive and made great conversation. I have food allergies and special instructions that Michelle was very vigilant about following! My son recommends the Rue Bourbon oysters if you’re looking for suggestions. This definitely won’t be my last time eating here!”

“Left the dentist office and saw this restaurant. Decided that is where I’m getting my lunch. Walked in and was greeted by a lady that was polite and she spoke English which was even better. I ordered the Steak Torta to go. Took about 10-12 minutes. When I got back to work I Kilt that sandwich because it was so FIRE! I am definitely coming back to try other dishes.”

“The Rusty Nail is one great spot to be in Wilmington NC. The staff and patrons are the friendliest around and the live music on Tuesday night nights and weekends ranks among the best blues I have ever seen and heard anywhere! In fact my wife and I are on our way there now, on Thanksgiving , for tonight’s Thanksgiving pot luck dinner. It will be a great time for those who don’t have local family, can’t travel or just want to have some holiday fun. No kidding, the Rusty Nail is a definite good time!”
“I talked to Kim on a Thursday to see if she could bake a cake for our dear friend by Saturday. We wanted a lemon cake because he loves all things lemon & at that point I wasn’t too picky since we were days away. Not only did she say yes, but she baked a delicious cake & added some special touches. She asked a couple of questions about our friend & said she’d make something nice. The results were amazing. Our friend loved his lemon cake with a golf theme & water in the background. Two things he really enjoys. Thank you Kim, for going above & beyond on such short notice. We greatly appreciated it!”
“Great experience! We were there for their weekend family style 6 course dinner. You get a lot of food and can take home what was served to your table that wasn't eaten. Only negative is that it's loud. Joe, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with through many reservation wait-lists and changes. And, he came around to our table to say hello. Nice people.”

“Amazing staff! My two girls had never had their treats and the staff was SUPER patient with them and helping make their decision. We were given a few free samples to help solidify their choice. I highly recommend them if you have a sweet tooth or simply enjoy great customer service.”
“WOW! ? Guelaguetza is a new favorite! Walking in it's very clean, the corn tortilla chips are fresh, made in house and the fresh made salsa is perfect. I forgot to take a picture of my tacos because I was so excited when they came out looking just like the pictures! Incredible! You have to give this little restaurant a try, I will definitely be bringing my family with me next time.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options and other accommodations.Dietary restrictions: The staff is professional and take all dietary restrictions seriously.Parking: Large open, free parkingKid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly but plz don't bring a non stop screaming child, nobody wants to hear all that.Wheelchair accessibility: No hills are steep slopes, easy access at well marked ramps to covered front walk. “Someone posted a review about the tiny hot dogs—guess they don’t realize the size of a normal hot dog which are not footlongs. The hot dogs are of normal size and 100% beef with fantastic chili and a variety of toppings if desired. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I don’t mind paying $11 for a great experience and wonderful food.”
“Not fancy, but excellent food, generous portions, friendly service, and fair prices. If you miss Sarku Japan (mall food court) you will be happy here. Dine in or carry out, easy parking! I'm there weekly.”

“Did the pizza making class with Naim, who started Cugino’s Wilmington Location. We made our own pies and there were no left overs. Definitely grab some cannolis on the way out. Could not recommend enough.”
“Love this Cracker Barrel! Always easy to get in. Super quick service. Service is GREAT here! Our absolute favorite waitress here is Katy. However, we have had pleasant experiences with all. (Don’t take all her seats!) :) We only come about once or twice a month though because ….well, tbh there are no healthy options here lol. That is Cracker Barrel though. Definitely recommend a visit!!”
“I took 4 out of town first timers, my mother and three German friends. I knew it would knock their socks off...and it did! Blueberry hushpuppies and the blueberry pancakes, the French toast both blasted were the biggest hits. Outside seating on the perfect spring morning with Kat as our impeccable server started my visitor's trip, and this experience will be hard to top.Parking: On a quiet morning, there were lots of near to the restaurant spaces. I know that Lumina Station gets very busy.”
“If you would like overpriced seafood, sure. We came on valentines day and I tried my boyfriend's salmon. It had no flavor and seemed a bit undercooked, the mashed potatoes were bland. I got the seafood pasta and it was pretty good. But these are small portions for a big price.”
“A very clean and well merchandised location with a wide selection of dessert options that will make everyone in the family happy. The location was convenient to the hotel and the selection really surprised me. I have not been to one of these stores before but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely seek them out in the future.”
“2 monster sized bacon cheeseburgers, some of the best I have ever had, plenty of rolls, pickles, all of this for only $26. If we would have gone to McDonald’s it would have been $30 and five guys $50. This was the one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time with plenty of extra food. Where else can you get a deal like this nowadays? Food is always great here and we come often.”
“My first time ever!!! Spectacular!! Has a sportsbar and breakfast mix feel, with music playing. EVERYONE working was super sweet and smiling. Coffee was great!! I even took one to go! Lol I had the "By The Sea" breakfast (but i requested for my tots to be separated from the actual breakfast)...?? best breakfast I've ever had! Ask for Miranda!! ??Parking: Huge parking lot. Plenty of handicap spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are low enough for wheelchairs”
“A great spot to hangout if the weathers nice and you're wanting a good drink or some food. I got the schnitzel entree and I was impressed! The beer was pretty good as well. Overall a nice little spot.”
“I placed an order for pickup and when I picked up my steak tacos at the door (check #25815667439435776), I asked the hostess for hot sauce to go. Although Ale House did not have any packets available, Lindsay found someone to cover the front door and she came back with hot sauce in a little container. I had already paid for my food and she could have easily told me, “No, we don’t have any for to-go orders”. Thank you Lindsay! I hope your bosses recognize that you have earned a loyal customer!”
“Love to brunch here. Family friendly, cute and cozy restaurant/cafe. Eggs Benedict is incredible. Tons of options for everyone. Breakfast shots are delicious. Cinnamon rolls are huge and great for sharing with the table.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly cafe and easy seating. Have high tops, tables and plenty of large booth options.”
“Fast, friendly and thorough service. Food was ready very quickly, however, personally the shrimp and grits were not the best that I've had. The scallion and bell pepper taste was overpowering as they were still almost raw as I would have preferred them to be sauteed with the shrimp. Great selection of drinks that were extremely colorful and refreshing. Restaurant size is small compared to the amount of customers that are packed in which makes the atmosphere a little noisier than I would have desired.”
“We came here because burgers and Guy Fieri. I'm so happy we did! Service was very good - when they were out of the wine I was drinking the waitress made a great suggestion for a replacement. The burgers were SO good. I had the pimento and I HIGHLY recommend it. While the fries are not celiac safe, they have a gluten free bun that was great. As someone with a gluten allergy (not celiac)I felt safe and did not have a reaction. We would happily come back and bring friends.”

“I was ordering dinner Lastnight and Ponysaurus came up. I have not been able to make it in person so I thought I would try some of their goodies to go. I ordered an Italian sandwich and instead of fries I upgraded $1.50 to a Caesar salad. I also ordered a 14 inch cheese pizza. Th menu has a lot of great items on it, but I wanted something the kids and I could split. When it arrived, the pizza was very charred on the crust. Too charred to eat in some places. That was my only complaint. The taste of the pizza was delicious. I would live to try their clam pizza next. Then, the Italian sub was loaded! It had several meats and a really good flavor. My only suggestion would be to change the bread was focaccia to sourdough or hoagie. The best part of the whole meal was the delicious Caesar salad. They packed it perfectly. The beautiful lives of lettuce were together, then in separate containers was the dressing, anchovies, freshly grated Parmesan, lemons, and croutons. When I moved it altogether it was heavenly!!! One of the best Caesar's in town! I will definitely be ordering from here again!”
“when i first heard about the ibis i knew it was going to be a place i would really enjoy. not only do i enjoy music overall but have visited gravity records several times so seeing a collaboration between them was exciting to see. my first time at the ibis was definitely the most welcoming and played a big part in me continuing to come and grab a drink & have a chat with friends. i love the atmosphere, the music, & the cocktails always hit the spot. after the first time visiting, i started, realizing that the customer service and interactions overall were not that great. i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were possibly having an overwhelming and busy day. i will go ahead and mention that i am very respectful when it comes to me going out to public spaces. i have always been very good with my manners and would say i'm more patient than most people in our world these days. so for me to feel the need to say anything about this should say a lot in itself. i've been to the ibis about five times at this point and ever since the first time i have not been greeted with a welcoming vibe whatsoever. i'm not expecting much from the staff but basic phrases like "hey how are y'all doing?" or "how's it going?" are never used. not even a welcoming smile or anything. not only that but it seems like they stare at you & wait for you to say something first. i will also mention that this isn't only during cocktail hours. i've been there during coffee hours and the staff during that time seem to be the same. i really love this spot. it's an awesome place to have a casual drink or just to listen to some good music but i'm writing this because not only me but friends that have been there with their own friends have also had negative experiences with the staff. i have nothing against the staff, maybe they've just never worked a customer service job & don't realize that your body language and energy does affect the people around you. i just hate that i don't feel like can fully enjoy my time here when there's so much negative tension between the customers and staff. i hope there can be a meeting where this could be addressed, but overall beautiful spot and looking forward to future events.”
“Everything that I've had at this location has been wonderful! LOVE the blueberry waffle cone ice cream (recc'd by a scooper...never would have tried otherwise...craveworthy now!!) The sea salt caramel fudge was also amazing! The chocolate dipped strawberries and apples were PERFECT!! The people that have helped me have been very welcoming and friendly. So much easier to find parking here than the downtown location. Thank you for being in midtown!! My new favorite go-to place for gifts.”
“Hands down my favorite restaurant ⭐️The food is incredible, service is outstanding. Fresh local produce, seafood etc. Prepared exquisitely. Looking forward to visiting often. Brings the level of quality to much higher standards her in Wilmington, ”
