Circa 1922 is absolutely the best restaurant we have found in the Wilmington area. We have been going there for the past 11 years! You could not ask for better service, better food, or a better atmosphere.

Circa 1922 is a friendly restaurant offering top-notch service and great food, making it a favorite for many. The bar is notable, with bartender Chris providing fantastic service, although cocktails can be pricey, ranging from $16 to $18. Standout dishes include shrimp cocktail, mussels, oysters, calamari, tuna poke bombs, paella, salmon en croute, steak frites, and a delicious chocolate cake. Recently, the pork Milanese and Bolognese have received high praise, with the pork Milanese being described as outstanding and one of the best ever tasted. The speakeasy atmosphere remains, creating a delightful dining experience. The restaurant can get quite full, adding to its vibrant ambiance. Excellent service from staff, including Codi and Amanda O, enhances the overall experience. It is highly recommended to save room for dessert, as the mini crème brûlée and mini peanut butter mousse are delightful.
