“Tonight was my first time at Sealevel City Vegan Diner and it did not disappoint! I love the eclectic vibe of this space, and the staff made it feel very welcoming. I was so excited about the variety of options on the menu and decided on the Taco Salad. My husband ordered a couple of their hot dogs and we shared some Nacho Fries. Everything was delicious! The food tasted fresh and seemed like it used a lot of in-house, from scratch ingredients. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.“
“Service was great! We sat outside since the weather was nice. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. My husband got the Trash Burger and loved it. (It’s a big customer favorite we hear!) I decided to go with old skool and peaches with walnuts. Fun fact, any cinnamon buns that weren't sold the day..they go for half price. Pick frosting and topping. “First let me start off by saying that the vegan food was incredibly delicious but very expensive. It is a great date night place. I am not vegan but love vegan options.They do rotate the menu based on seasonal veggies and what they get from local farms.This was my 1st time dining at this restaurant although I had heard a lot of great things about it. The atmosphere is very clean with white chairs/sofa type benches and nice wood tables. The bar is very pretty and bottles are backlit with soft lighting.I was there with my friend on a Wednesday evening and it was "2 for" wine Wednesday, so we started out with 2 glasses of pinot gris that was delicious.We ordered 2 appetizers, the special was charred broccoli with a bed of potato puree and pearl onions in a red wine reduction and the second one was thinly sliced beets with cashew "cheese" dollops with sumac. I also ordered a chickpea and curry soup that was one of the favorites.Dinner was lions mane mushroom and my friend had a pasta dish with harissa and cherry tomatoes. The lions mane mushroom was phenomenal with a delicious gravy and a square of thinly sliced potatoes-Delicious!! Everything was extremely well seasoned and very tasty.We also had dessert which consisted of a piece of chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and salted caramel with chopped nuts, and a vegan cheesecake which tasted of coconut and also had chocolate and salted caramel drizzle. Both desserts were not overly sweet and very good. Now for the down side. The cost is very high....or maybe I'm just not use to classy food ??♀️ that's entirely possible. The portion sizes are not large but they are adequate and very satisfying. I do think that some folks will find the prices limiting but it was such a great experience that everybody should treat themselves now and then. Or bill for 2 was $167 and with tip came to right around $200 but like I said we had 2 appetizers, a small bowl of soup, 2 dinners and 2 desserts with 2 glasses of wine(which was buy one get one). So you be the judge on the cost, but if you are going to spend money on a delicious dinner this is a great place to enjoy that!!“
