I highly recommend the grit bowls which have a non-traditional texture for grits, but they both taste amazing. “We came pretty early (before 10am)and it was a full house, but no real lines and food was ready very quickly. Based on the signage at the restaurant it must get busy as the late morning crowds wake up.First visit and wasn't expecting the fast casual style, but really enjoyed. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful.Food was really good. Fresh and hot and everything tasted delicious. It is heavy and rich food though. Wouldn't be a meal for every Sunday, but a great spot for a fun brunch or breakfast with a group.“

“I have to say... this is one of the best places to go for a morning snack. Kim (the owner) is always in a joyful mood and loves to share her positivity with her customers. Her employees are extremely friendly and know how to have engaging conversations. The food taste as though it is home made, and it is fresh out of the oven. The coffee drinks are something new to try as they are one of a kind, and some are seasonal. I must admit for the seasonal ones, you grow to love them and when that particular season is over; you miss those drinks you crave. However, this does make it exciting for when the drinks are brought back out as you get to enjoy them the same way. If you are looking for a calm, friendly environment to start your day off right, I suggest you stop by and introduce yourself to Kim. “I love Blue Cup ! I stop on my way to work and get in and out in less than 3 minutes. They’re very friendly. I usually get a chocolate chip muffin with an iced coffee add oatmilk. Today my muffin stuck to the wrapper when I got to work and they replaced it on my lunch with a coffee cake muffin. Long story short I’ll be getting my usual but with a coffee cake muffin now. “Walked into a nice chilled atmosphere with couches, high top bistros, tables and chairs, and benches... there was a nice cowboy picking on a guitar playing live music... I was immediately greeted. I did feel a bit overwhelmed when I looked up at the menu, so I just ordered my fav chi tea latte with oat milk. It was very good. Service was fast and price was comparable. I browsed the store next door, and it has some super cute bohemian style stuff!! The staff are very friendly! I was very comfortable sitting there next to the live music and reading my book! I will definitely be back!“
“I discovered this coffee shop a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Claire is amazing, and so friendly. She knows my order because I've come so often already, and was helpful letting me know what ingredients are vegan. My husband loves the hot Americano, and all of the blended lattes he's tried. He also loves the donuts and said their all 10/10. This is my favorite little lunch break spot, and if Claire is there I know its going to be great!“
“We've been here a few times now and love it! The whole staff is amazing. Shout out to Jill, Sherry, and Mary Catherine who are always so friendly! The food is CHEFS KISS and affordable! We are slowly working our way through the changing menu, but we love the club sandwich and French toast, for sides the hash brown casserole and the Mac and cheese! “I was in need of a coffee and decided to stop. There is plenty of parking and the lot has easy access. The lot was fairly full , it was almost noon. I walked in and the place had a nice vibe , plenty of seating , clean and neat. They have multiple choices for coffee and tea. I'm basically a purist - just a regular cup of coffee, nothing special . I ordered a small with room for half and half . Easy order and fast service. The coffee arrived nice and hot , smelled wonderful and looked great. I was handed the half and half container to pour into my coffee. They had some neat snacks to go along with the beverage . The coffee had great flavor - not wash out or watered down, it was perfect . It is a place that I would return to , perhaps sit and stay and enjoy the coffee there.“

The German Chocolate cake was delicious, the Pineapple cake was fantastic, The Yellow cake with Chocolate icing was on point and the Pound Cake was divine. I brought all of these home for a dessert tasting for my family and they were devoured. Now ... “While they are almost a dime a dozen these days, here we have a top shelf coffee shop.Obviously the coffee is high quality and prepared correctly, but they also have a great food menu (Avocado/Egg sandwich or Market Bowl Lunch are my favorites) and tasty pastries.If you appreciate not drinking out of paper/plastic (be it for taste or going green), be sure to tell them you are staying in as they will give you a real glass to enjoy your beverage of choice.Prices are pretty reasonable as you can go in for a nice lunch and a coffee for about $15.They also have a unique option which I haven't seen before and has become my new favorite. I'll let them explain it to you, but stop on by and enjoy "The Magic" of Drift!Vegetarian options: Lots of good salad combos and most other items have a vegetarian option.“

“Very nice, good tasting food. I had the quinoa salad and it was a good tasting large portion. I also had "The Warrior" smoothie and it was also good. Prices were a little bit high to me and the food was good but sadly nothing special that would make me come back. I often make a quinoa bowl at home very similar to this one at half the price but if you're out shopping and need a quick healthy meal this is a good option.“

“My husband and I recently stopped in the Java Dog while shopping at the Cotton Exchange. We had sugar-free Caramel Vanilla Lattes. Mine was made with sugar-free almond or soy milk, I can't remember which one, but so delicious. I am not sure if it was an owner or employee who took our drink order, but they were very friendly and offered several sugar-free options. The window seats gave us a nice view and were quiet enough to have a conversation. We definitely will return.“
“I have been to Luna a half dozen times, tried several pastries/muffins and hot drinks. Without fail, my hot drink is sublime, no matter which option I choose and the bakery items are fresh and delicious. The blueberry muffin is worth noting: plenty of big juicy blueberries nestled in a fluffy muffin. The atmosphere.is comfortable and relaxing. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly.“

“when i first heard about the ibis i knew it was going to be a place i would really enjoy. not only do i enjoy music overall but have visited gravity records several times so seeing a collaboration between them was exciting to see. my first time at the ibis was definitely the most welcoming and played a big part in me continuing to come and grab a drink & have a chat with friends. i love the atmosphere, the music, & the cocktails always hit the spot. after the first time visiting, i started, realizing that the customer service and interactions overall were not that great. i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were possibly having an overwhelming and busy day. i will go ahead and mention that i am very respectful when it comes to me going out to public spaces. i have always been very good with my manners and would say i'm more patient than most people in our world these days. so for me to feel the need to say anything about this should say a lot in itself. i've been to the ibis about five times at this point and ever since the first time i have not been greeted with a welcoming vibe whatsoever. i'm not expecting much from the staff but basic phrases like "hey how are y'all doing?" or "how's it going?" are never used. not even a welcoming smile or anything. not only that but it seems like they stare at you & wait for you to say something first. i will also mention that this isn't only during cocktail hours. i've been there during coffee hours and the staff during that time seem to be the same. i really love this spot. it's an awesome place to have a casual drink or just to listen to some good music but i'm writing this because not only me but friends that have been there with their own friends have also had negative experiences with the staff. i have nothing against the staff, maybe they've just never worked a customer service job & don't realize that your body language and energy does affect the people around you. i just hate that i don't feel like can fully enjoy my time here when there's so much negative tension between the customers and staff. i hope there can be a meeting where this could be addressed, but overall beautiful spot and looking forward to future events.“

My most recent experience was an order ahead from the app, and they had my drink ready in under 5 minutes despite having a long line of cars at the drive through.I also like the art and layout of the tables. “I come here often because it's close, but they're always pretty fast about their service, no matter if you go inside or the drive thru. It has a stronger coffee taste than other coffee shops and I like that. Food portions are a little on the small size and aren't always the highest quality. Normally get a something simple and build off it so I can make it the way I like it. Would recommend and am going back.“

“I usually never write a review for Starbucks mainly because I almost always grab my coffee from here and it's a go-to place for me. This one was special. I visited this Starbucks recently and i wanted to write their lavender flavored drinks on the menu. I had ordered the iced lavender oat milk Latte for the first time and to my surprise I didn't enjoy the drink. While I usually love trying new drinks at Starbucks, I have never been in a situation to return a drink because it didn't meet my expectations. I went ahead and did it for the first time, I wasn't sure about the response. I requested a replacement for the drink I had ordered and to my surprise they offered to replace my drink for free. I really moved by their service and I believe that deserves a mention. Thank you!“

“My wife and I discovered Hidden Grounds on Instagram and had to come here when we were in Wilmington. The coffee here was amazing and we were so glad we came here! The inside was so well put together for such a limited space. The decor is very nice too. The back patio is mainly all the seating and it was the coolest thing we’ve ever seen for a coffee shop. We loved how clean and nice it was here. Customer service was great and it’s even better here since we could bring our dog as they’re dog friendly! They also have cool merch so I definitely got a tshirt for sure! We will definitely come back here again when we are in Wilmington.“
