“This brewery is awesome for the following reasons.1. Great staff who are attentive and treat everyone with respect and kindness2. Tons of fun games (ping pong, foosball etc)3. Cool indoor/outdoor area4. Pet friendly5. Good beer selection6. Cool events like drag brunch7. Good location with easy parkingSo yeah, it has a ton going for it. I'm making my way through the Wilmy breweries and so far it's near the top of my list. I keep coming back every time we're looking for a brewery to hang out at. It's got everything really.“
“As newcomers to the Wilmington area, we are always looking for great food, drink, service and atmosphere. Three10 did not disappoint. A quaint bungalow turned restaurant in the Brooklyn Arts District, with a small but inviting dining room area and a dining bar that faces the very organized and chill kitchen. The dining bar was our choice. Jill was our primary service person working alongside Claire. They were both excellent! Knowledgeable, professional and personable; not easy find, regardless of caliber of restaurant. I started with the cocktail "The One Where They Brown the Butter", which was bourbon based, had hints of sweet from the browned butter and brown sugar, although not overpowering. It was delicious and easy to drink. We started our meal with the Hushpuppies, Tuna Tartare and raw Oysters, all of which were excellent. The pepper jelly base under the hushpuppies was subtle but added so much flavor. The base of diced beets/sweet potatoes with the Tuna Tartare was seasonally fresh. The 2 NC blue crabcakes had a subtle cayenne heat, balanced with the creaminess of the celery root gribiche and made with the same base as the hushpuppies. Needless to say, we did not have room for dessert.....Overall, our first visit was excellent, not only for the great food but for the knowledgeable and friendly service. We will be back!“
“I had fried pickle ? burger and it was OK. The burger lacked seasoning but was cooked well. The fried pickles were soggy, not crunchy and not very flavorful. My wife had the pepper jack shrimp ? sandwich and it was yummy! We also had the Parmesan garlic broccoli and the broccoli ? was overcooked for my taste. Service was fine given the place was quite busy. Overall very good not great.“
“Wow. This was the best place to stumble into on my way through Wilmington NC! My mum and I still dream of the s’mores and tiramisu lattes… to say I was impressed would be an understatement. ? I am looking forward to my next trip to Maven.“
“Always love coming here, all of the drinks and dishes I've gotten have been nothing but delicious. I highly recommend the grit bowls which have a non-traditional texture for grits, but they both taste amazing. And for drinks, they make killer matcha, never too sweet with the perfect balance.Pictures: banana bread, vegan grit bowl + egg, iced vanilla matcha“
“Hands down this is our favorite pizza & wing combo in Wilmington!!! We absolutely love their hot & honey pizza and their Mack’s sweet & spicy BBQ sauced wings!!! Everything is so fresh and delicious! The owner and the staff are always so polite and friendly! I highly recommend this place!“
“First time visiting and hopefully it won't be our last when we come into town. The ladies were super nice and let us know that if there was something that wasn't on the menu they'd be willing to make it. Coffee was great and they have many options to choose from.“
“A wonderful local brewery located near the Brooklyn Arts district in historic downtown Wilmington. They have a wide variety of excellent fresh beers and they also serve wine. They have local artists who perform from time to time and they also have food trucks that show up to provide cuisine to accompany your beer and wine. The employees here are very friendly and helpful.“
“Been coming here for a while now jus decided to do a review. My sandwich was great tho it had like three different meats on it the bacon was crispy and jus all around well balanced sandwich the miss Vickie’s definitely set it off but pretty decent place! The complimentary pickles weren’t all that but they were free so who “
“First time and we'll be back. Nice and friendly!! Love the Gelati and variety of flavors. Love the Koozie refill idea too!! Certainly a nice place to chill and cool off from the burning sun?. My daughter loved it!! We all did and we'll be back to try more flavors! ?“
“Easy to find, plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, both of which are dog friendly! Service was super friendly. Very kid friendly, as they even have toys for them to play with. Good selection of beers, but IPAs seem to be their specialty. Nice, welcoming environment. Definitely recommend!“
“Found a gem of a brewery while in Wilmington for business located on Old Eastwood Rd. It is walking distance from the Hampton Inn. I met Guy the owner and his mother Mary Ann. Mary Ann was so nice to talk to. Great conversation of how Guy started the brewery and the different types of beers he has made. Had a couple of pints and it was so good I got a few growlers to go. Try By the Beach Brewing you won't be disappointed.“
“I love Blue Cup ! I stop on my way to work and get in and out in less than 3 minutes. They’re very friendly. I usually get a chocolate chip muffin with an iced coffee add oatmilk. Today my muffin stuck to the wrapper when I got to work and they replaced it on my lunch with a coffee cake muffin. Long story short I’ll be getting my usual but with a coffee cake muffin now. Thanks guys :)“
“I met a friend here for their Flights and Bites, which is Wednesday and Thursday night where you buy a flight and get a free bite. It's a very cool, modern and trendy place. We sat at a table near the bar which had the the coolest teal lights. Our server was nice and gave recommendations on people's favorite bites. The wine flights were 3 different types of wines from the same winery. I'm not much of a wine connoisseur so it was fun to taste and compare. They were all delicious and a good variety of flavors. For bites we had the pimento cheese which came with these flaky crackers and pickled veggies that made a perfect addition. We also got the focaccia bread w olive oil. Super soft yet crunchy. I wish there were more. The hostess did bring us more crackers when we still had more pimento cheese which was so nice. They also filled up our waters non-stop. It was a perfect place for a girls get together. And it would make a fun date night spot.“
“Pipeline Poke must mean Heaven in some language. I am a sushi snob, and therefore a poke snob—seriously. Pipeline is the brainchild of Chef Lee, owner of Bento Box, and Zac, his then sous chef.Pipeline serves the same excellent sashimi as Bento Box and therefore is the best poke you will ever eat. The end. The menu options are authentic, inspired by co-Owner’s Zac’s personal experience living in Hawaii and experiencing poke in the motherland. The setting is really cool, something to experience and a decent place for work-from-homers to get out of the house for an excellent meal while still being connected to free high speed internet.Sunsets are quite nice if seated outside, caveat like most restaurants in NC, if you’re not looking at the sunset you’re looking at a parking lot. But there is an outside firepit and ample seating to enjoy dinner and a drink with family and friends. Definitely a great place to host networking events!“
“The vegan options are clearly marked, but if you ask (like I did, just to be on the safe side), they'll point out or list the many options. I went with a double scoop of passion fruit with mint chocolate at the bottom, and believe it or not, it was a great combo! The decor is charming (though some of the seats *may* be leather?), but who wants to sit inside when you can sit outside, next to the water, and enjoy a beautiful view and a refreshing breeze?“
“It really is a cool spot to have beer, listen to music and it is away from Road Noise and large enough to spread out inside or outside. The art store connected inside back right has Wine if you dont do beer or Ciders etc. The Art work is beautiful and exotic from Africa. It appears to be Kid and pet friendly. The Next few Days when the temp goes upp, you should go down and check it out, and relax.“
“What a great little gem. I have driven by this place hundreds of times. I had no idea if the selection of wine and spirits they carried. The place is very inviting inside, plenty of parking and service super friendly. Met my friend here for a quick drink one afternoon and ended up staying several hours. Highly recommended.“
“I discovered this coffee shop a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Claire is amazing, and so friendly. She knows my order because I've come so often already, and was helpful letting me know what ingredients are vegan. My husband loves the hot Americano, and all of the blended lattes he's tried. He also loves the donuts and said their all 10/10. This is my favorite little lunch break spot, and if Claire is there I know its going to be great!“
“This microbrewery offered mostly hefes and stouts when I was here. There were a few pils and their tradeship IPA. They offer lots of open seating both inside and out. There are a few shuffleboard tables. If the lot at The Venue is full, there is another lot immediately after.“
“This place lives up to it's name. The bar has a great offering of beer on tap, plus a huge variety of cans that the bartenders know really well. The space offers many types of sitting areas; indoor and outdoor with a casual environment. They also host great monthly events.Parking: Small parking lot and some street parking availableWheelchair accessibility: Not impossible but not made with handicap people in mind.“
“Cute little coffee shop tucked away at the end of a strip mall. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Ordered a vanilla latte and a cream cheese brownie. My coffee was made to order and served with a heart in the middle. Takes some skill to do that! Good atmosphere, nice assortment of pastries and decent size menu of coffee. Will stop in again if I'm ever in the neighborhood.“
“I can't count the number of times that I have walked or driven by this restaurant, before finally stopping in. Castle Street Kitchen presents a friendly bar atmosphere with a gourmet chef's menu. The waiters were very friendly and greeted every customer as a returning friend. There is a quaint lounge in the back that allows you to chill in a more intimate setting. The food is on another level and delicious! The first night, we ordered House Tacos (pork) with macaroni & cheese and the Sweet Potato Fry appetizer. We returned the next day for lunch in hopes that I could order more House Tacos (pork). Yes, they are that good that I thought about them. We also ordered the Asian Sliders, which were very good. If you would like a friendly atmosphere and gourmet food I recommend that you stop by Castle Street Kitchen. Warning...their drinks are strong and worth it.“
“Very knowledgeable staff, good parking, they're attached to a home brew store, and are dog friendly inside and out. Outdoor has a good amount of seating; while inside is more limited, but still a good amount. Pretty much the same beer on tap as the arcade, with the addition of one or two beers. To go options are limited. Overall, I do like this location more than the arcade.“
“This is my happiest place on earth. I love the people there, they are SO kind. The fruit is so delicious, I’ve never had blueberries or strawberries that tasted so juicy, sweet, and flavorful! I am so excited to come again this spring and pick more berries. Also their strawberry cookies and ice cream are to die for.“
“I love that the first thing the staff does when you go to the counter is provide you a beverage. Tried both burger and the PT DOG. Both made to order, fresh and fantastic. Had the cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, slaw and chili. Just as good as the mains are the fresh cut fries. Outstanding!“
“I accidentally broke the dart board here :(I've brought a few of my friends here and they all loved it! If you're looking for a fun, quick place for breakfast or lunch then this is the place to try. The owners are super friendly and you can tell they love what they do.“
“I have been to Luna a half dozen times, tried several pastries/muffins and hot drinks. Without fail, my hot drink is sublime, no matter which option I choose and the bakery items are fresh and delicious. The blueberry muffin is worth noting: plenty of big juicy blueberries nestled in a fluffy muffin. The atmosphere.is comfortable and relaxing. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly.“
“My husband and I recently stopped in the Java Dog while shopping at the Cotton Exchange. We had sugar-free Caramel Vanilla Lattes. Mine was made with sugar-free almond or soy milk, I can't remember which one, but so delicious. I am not sure if it was an owner or employee who took our drink order, but they were very friendly and offered several sugar-free options. The window seats gave us a nice view and were quiet enough to have a conversation. We definitely will return.“
“Stopped in for a couple of cold beverages, adult in nature, pretty good not great but opened and available. Kind of like a good place to grab one or two drinks before jumping to another location you'd be bored if you'd spend more than an hour in this place but the service was good and bar staff was attentive.“
“This place was alright. Not much seating available inside but there is a back patio with some seating. It was pretty busy when we went and inside it was soooooo loud. People were yelling at the top of their lungs to talk to one another. It is pretty small and cramped inside and when a line forms for the bar, you can't help but block the door. Drinks are a bit over priced, but they do have a large selection of seltzers and ciders as well as on tap beers.Otherwise this place was alright. Pub like atmosphere.Minimal parking in lot, street parking is your best bet. No food served at the bar but they had a food truck.“
“Great fast casual burger joint with friendly service! I usually go for the McWhat? Burger with a fried chicken patty on top, wife gets the Vegan Smash Burger, both come with tots, so that's win as well. Nice outdoor seating. Def recommend.“
“Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was as expected for a brewery. The service was slow going and drinks weren't refreshed without asking but it could've just been a dud server. It happens. Talk about a tough Food choice to make! Everything on the menu sounded delicious but I ended up going with a burger. It was cooked exactly as requested and the sweet potato fries were bomb. Very affordable for a family of 4. We ate well for just under $60. Would definitely go here again.Parking: Due to location, street parking is limited to meter or city parking garages.“
“Had a great time sitting at the bar, watching the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The special grits bowl with crispy pork belly, potatoes, mushrooms, squash, Brussels sprouts, and arrugula, with a French onion soup cheese sauce was to die for!“
“While visiting the amazing Wrightsville Beach, and celebrating an upcoming Birthday, we searched for the perfect place for dinner, views, food options, reviews, location, with option to dress up. Bridge Tender hit the mark! I made reservations online, super easy. We arrived to a beautiful handwritten card thanking us for choosing them!! Wow! Our server, I believe Philip? was so attentive, informative, helpful with menu. We have some gluten & nut allergies but that was not an issue. The meal was spactular! Chowder was out of this world, salmon was perfect, chicken so tender! warm bread on the table & lots of wine/drink options. Not a flaw to be found, and we can’t wait to come back!!! Well done & Thank You!“
“I love this place and the food, our server Alexis was very friendly and made it a very enjoyable experience! I cannot thank her enough! Also, my gluten free partner was easily able to find things on the menu and there was another separate gf menu if requested!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available, gluten free buns and several options naturally gluten free.“
“I’ve been here on two separate occasions and on both occasions I enjoyed the food, the service both times was phenomenal and the atmosphere was great and calming. I would definitely recommend ‘Famous Toastery of Wilmington’ to anyone that wants to enjoy a great breakfast, amazing service and an awesome atmosphere!“
“Hannah N. gave us incredible service. She was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. The food was delicious as well. Jeremy the Manager was super kind and gave us a warm welcome. I highly recommend Wrightsville Beach Brewery. Oh, I can’t forget the beer…quality for sure.“
