“I’ve heard great things about this Restaurant. So, I’ve decided to come try this Restaurant for the first time. I’ve went there Last Sunday, 4/19, & celebrated my Birthday. I came there around 1:00 PM. There were lots of Customers there. So, I had to wait 20 Minutes to get a Table, not too bad of a Wait. The Employees were Super Nice & Friendly. The Food was Excellent! I would also like to say the Tres Leches Pancakes could use a little bit more Tres Leches, but it was Great! The Mimosas were Great! Great Customer Service, & No Communication Barrier. They’ve treated me like a V.I.P. The Atmosphere/Music was Great! I can feel the Culture as soon as I walked inside. Muchas gracias a Amenecer Cocina for making my Birthday a Great & Memorable one. I’ll definitely will be back for sure! 👍🍳🥞🇲🇽💯“

“Left the dentist office and saw this restaurant. Decided that is where I’m getting my lunch. Walked in and was greeted by a lady that was polite and she spoke English which was even better. I ordered the Steak Torta to go. Took about 10-12 minutes. When I got back to work I Kilt that sandwich because it was so FIRE! I am definitely coming back to try other dishes.“

“I’ve decided to come out & try a Different Mexican Restaurant. I’ve eaten here on Saturday, 4/4 for Lunch. I was skeptical about coming here because of the Lower Google Rating here. But, I ended up trying this Place out for myself. I’ve sat at the Outdoor Dining Area, which I absolutely enjoyed. The Customer Service was good, & the Restaurant has a good bit of space. I’ve felt so relaxed while sitting in their Outdoor Dining Area. I really loved sitting outside. Also, the Food was excellent! My Tacos were great, & the Meats were flavorful & not overcooked. The Rice & Beans were great! Also, their Agua Frescas were excellent, & I definitely loved their Cucumber-Lime Agua Fresca, which is rare to find around most Mexican Restaurants. Mi Rey definitely didn’t disappoint, & I’ve had a great experience. I will definitely return. I think that I’ve found me a New Mexican Spot here in Wilmington. I’d highly recommend this Restaurant. 👍🇲🇽💯“

“The Keg and Egg is hands down my favorite breakfast spot. The food is incredible—we’re talking the best fried chicken and sausage gravy I’ve ever had. The food alone makes it worth the visit, but the fun atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff really set it apart. It’s a must-visit—I can’t recommend it enough.“

“Visited this amazing restaurant for the first time yesterday. Extremely clean establishment with a mouth watering aroma. The staff here are super friendly and courteous. Ordered steak & chicken fajitas. This is by far the best authentic Mexican Food I've ever eaten in my life. Steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. After eating, I actually went back and ordered the same entrée again to carry back with me to our home in Zebulon, NC. I highly recommend this incredible restaurant. Five Stars!!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“La Costa on Oleander has become one of my favorite restaurants recently. I can eat a lot of food, and no matter what I order I’m always left full and satisfied. “Got real Carne asada, with real red sauce that actually had heat and flavor, served with some old fashioned tortillas and grilled onions. It slapped! 🌮🔥People complaining about the portions obviously didn’t pay attention to the size of the tacos. Hella carne, all fresh everything. I’ll be trying the other tacos soon.“

“We had our first meal at La Brasa last night and it was absolutely the best Mexican food I’ve had in Wilmington in the decade I’ve been here. I started simple because I think it’s a good judge of a restaurant to see how well they do the basics. Beef tacos. Delicious and perfect. I woke up craving them all over again. The restaurant was super clean, service was great and the food tasted so good.
I feel like Chipotle has been hit or miss the last few years but this experience was definitely a hit.

“my hubby and I love Amy's burrito barn. it is our go-to lunch place and I highly recommend. That said, I was very disappointed to bite into my shrimp poboy and discover they had completely changed it. ugh!! If that is all I knew of Amy's was that particular burrito, I probably wouldn't be back. BUT I was talking to some.staff and they said next time to just ask for the original poboy and not the new.one. menu changes of loved things always drivee.nuts. the portions are great and there the staff is always friendly and helpful.“
