We stopped my Island Mex Grill for a quick lunch before traveling back home. Conveniently located downtown. Parking was a little difficult during lunchtime. However, the we received and friendly service, and it was reasonably priced.
We walked here to eat on a Bachelorette weekend after doing the Brew Boat up the river. I got the Islander Salad and substituted the spicy chicken for ground beef. The side of guacamole was good. A little pricy in my opinion for what received but food and service were good.

Food was great, service was great. But they WERE SLAMMED! Only 2 employees on the line. I’m hoping someone called out, because if you’re understaffing to save money then that’s a problem… and seems to be pretty common nowaday.
