“The fried chicken dinner was delicious and juicy! I can't say enough about it! It was enough for 2 people! The Mac and cheese delicious! My daughter got the fried chicken and waffles she only ate half, but she loved it! Again enough for the next day! My husband got the chicken pot pie he didn't love it. I would go back for sure. Please watch where you park! Biggest pain in the neck! You can't park along the waterfront. You can only park at the end of the brick building (chandlers wharf) and then you have to scan the code inside of the rooster and the crow and remember your license plate for parking. They do give you a few hour credit. But after searching for a parking spot we then had to go move the car! It was just a pain. But did was very good.“
“We are not use to humidity and It was a little humid inside. However the people and food were FANTASTIC!’ We got two adults drinks that were on point!!! We enjoyed!!! We were passing through going to Kure Beach. We will definitely try to stop by again.Must check them out!!“
“I can't count the number of times that I have walked or driven by this restaurant, before finally stopping in. Castle Street Kitchen presents a friendly bar atmosphere with a gourmet chef's menu. The waiters were very friendly and greeted every customer as a returning friend. There is a quaint lounge in the back that allows you to chill in a more intimate setting. The food is on another level and delicious! The first night, we ordered House Tacos (pork) with macaroni & cheese and the Sweet Potato Fry appetizer. We returned the next day for lunch in hopes that I could order more House Tacos (pork). Yes, they are that good that I thought about them. We also ordered the Asian Sliders, which were very good. If you would like a friendly atmosphere and gourmet food I recommend that you stop by Castle Street Kitchen. Warning...their drinks are strong and worth it.“
“I took 4 out of town first timers, my mother and three German friends. I knew it would knock their socks off...and it did! Blueberry hushpuppies and the blueberry pancakes, the French toast both blasted were the biggest hits. Outside seating on the perfect spring morning with Kat as our impeccable server started my visitor's trip, and this experience will be hard to top.Parking: On a quiet morning, there were lots of near to the restaurant spaces. I know that Lumina Station gets very busy.“
“Great fast casual burger joint with friendly service! I usually go for the McWhat? Burger with a fried chicken patty on top, wife gets the Vegan Smash Burger, both come with tots, so that's win as well. Nice outdoor seating. Def recommend.“
“I had the trailer Park burger. My husband had the mushroom Swiss or something very delicious will come back again. We came all the way from Carolina Beach to try to trailer park burger… but really we actually live in Southwest Virginia.Carolina Beach R and “
“I love this place and the food, our server Alexis was very friendly and made it a very enjoyable experience! I cannot thank her enough! Also, my gluten free partner was easily able to find things on the menu and there was another separate gf menu if requested!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available, gluten free buns and several options naturally gluten free.“
“My first time ever!!! Spectacular!! Has a sportsbar and breakfast mix feel, with music playing. EVERYONE working was super sweet and smiling. Coffee was great!! I even took one to go! Lol I had the "By The Sea" breakfast (but i requested for my tots to be separated from the actual breakfast)...?? best breakfast I've ever had! Ask for Miranda!! ??Parking: Huge parking lot. Plenty of handicap spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are low enough for wheelchairs“
“I love that the first thing the staff does when you go to the counter is provide you a beverage. Tried both burger and the PT DOG. Both made to order, fresh and fantastic. Had the cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, slaw and chili. Just as good as the mains are the fresh cut fries. Outstanding!“
“After following Fox’s on social media and seeing their magical menu in photo form, I finally got the chance to try them out a couple of months back. I’m just disappointed in myself for not trying them sooner. I immediately fell in love with the Ghostface Fillah which starts with a sourdough caraway bread grilled to perfection, cheese, arugula, hot roast beef, horseradish mayo, and a Demi glacé you want to dip everything in. It’s absolutely killer and I’ve not been able to stray away from it. But that’s not it, I’ve tried the fries, pasta salad, fried cheese, and Big Wes’ Little Weiners. Not sure who Wes is, but yknow what… good for him. Everything on the menu is delicious and somehow they’ve managed to keep that impeccable quality even when it’s for takeout/delivery. We’ve found many reasons to order from Fox’s recently and they never miss. Everything is packaged perfectly, nothing missing, all the sauces, and it’s just that damn good. We’ve also dined in and love the little hole in the wall this place really is. The restaurant is spotless and the guys working are super nice and attentive. The last time we dined in, the local health inspector came in and tried her best to ruin the kitchens day, but they still managed to take care of us and make sure we had everything we needed for a good experience. Can’t wait to continue supporting this little gem in Downtown Wilmington.“
“Old school feel, unbeatable prices, cheeseburgers and french fries are incredible! Cash only, if you find yourself wanting southern sweet tea to go with your meal this is your spot! Experienced staff that aim to please, a true staple in Wilmington, N.C.“
“Got the Rebel Yell with tater tots which was yummy. The sandwich is big so I only at half. Our server was responsive, although they gave my husband tater tots instead of the waffle fries he ordered. They had a high chair for my son. And changed TV channels when they noticed us trying to watch a particular screen that was further away. I would eat here again. Just wish the table lanterns were brighter, its dark inside the restaurant.“
“My adult son and I ate here last night. It was our first experience at Angus Grill and the burger was yummy! I ate the Bacon Jam burger and he had the Brisket burger. Both of us had a single patty but he said he'd order a double next time. The flavors on my burger were well balanced and the fries were seasoned well. The service was outstanding-not only was our server was friendly and made helpful recommendations, but it came out quick! If you are looking for a burger spot with some incredible choices, this is it.“
“Perfect service- first and foremost. The live music was a little loud, but pretty good. The fried potato balls were excellent, after that things get really average. Fries were soggy and tasted like the oil used was old. The fish was solid, not spectacular, but good. I'm not sure what the coleslaw was about, but it wasn't anything like coleslaw you might expect. When I got over the idea of it not being traditional coleslaw, it wasn't the worst. The beer was great and, again, the service couldn't have been better.“
“A trip to Wrightsville is incomplete without a breakfast at Salt Works. There is going to be a wait and you are going to have to pay cash but you will love the food and friendly people. The owner is always there zooming around filling in where needed and greeting the regulars. We always get omlettes which are outstanding!“
“I stopped by to place an order to-go during the very busy lunch hours. Expecting for my order to take a while, was approached by an employee to ask if I had received my order yet. It ended up that a customer had accidentally taken my order. They apologized and made my order up quick AND gave me a free voucher for next time. They were exceptional and went above and beyond. I will definitely be coming back!“
“Come for the chicken sandwich or burgers and stay for the fries. It's a penultimate beach dining experience. Order on old school paper menus, get your drinks then sit inside or outside. They'll call you. Decent bottled beer selection but not a huge amount of choices for something on tap. But, you can find a beer to wash down the burger/fries.“
“We came here because burgers and Guy Fieri. I'm so happy we did! Service was very good - when they were out of the wine I was drinking the waitress made a great suggestion for a replacement. The burgers were SO good. I had the pimento and I HIGHLY recommend it. While the fries are not celiac safe, they have a gluten free bun that was great. As someone with a gluten allergy (not celiac)I felt safe and did not have a reaction. We would happily come back and bring friends.“
“Food was absolutely delicious!! My husband, daughter and I enjoyed delicious burgers. Kids Eat free. Thursday was burger night, and man they did not disappoint! So many options and cooked perfectly.. huge beer/cider selection.. only complaint was that it was a little bright in there for dinner time. Definitely will be back!“
“Diane and I went out for dinner in recent weeks and I have to say it was a truly unique wonderful experience. The service and food was spectacular, so much so that I didn’t think about how expensive the meal was. I think the company helped soften the blow. Anyone looking for the best filet mignon in town town this is the place to go true blue butcher and barrel is a lot more intimate than the setting at Butcher and Block. I’ll have to go next Wednesday for the five dollar Smashburger as I heard it is incredible and at that price why not buy a few other sides“
“I’m always on the search for great smash burger wherever I visit or live. This place is excellent! I got a double original style as recommended. So simple, but so good. The onions smashed into the burger and caramelized creates an awesome flavor. Burger was cooked perfect with crisp edges. Overall it’s a tasty, unique, must try burger if your a smash burger fan!“
“Cool spot. You can grab a seat in the Alcove brewery area and order food next door and they bring it to you. I ordered a beer and got my food. Everything was amazing. Only issue is the service was minimal. I had to go back and ask for cutlery and wave to get my check for my one beer, while only 2 others at the bar. We all have off days in the service Industry though. Can't wait to revisit.“
“I drove 26 miles one way to get me a pineapple sundae and an ice-cream cone, it took 2 days to eat the sundae and 20 miles to eat the cone and the people there were very pleasant, that was the first time going to this particular one SOOOOOO from Delco to Wilmington's Oleander drive I will go.“
“Went for the burgers but stayed for the show. Burgers are sub par for the area especially since they have burger in their name. Tots are decent, being able to order drink on the self service device would have been nice. Had a live band for entertainment on a Saturday night. Typical brewery experience with families and pets.“
“Tried out the New location in Wrightsville Beach today, and had a great experience! Saw lots of menu items that reminded me of previous visits but the new items looked amazing and I had a hard time choosing what to eat! Patty was our server tonight and she was super knowledgeable and very accommodating to my vegan companion, making great suggestions! We enjoyed everything! We loved Patty, she represents your business in the best way, and deserves all the praise! I can’t wait to come back for the pizzas I didn’t try tonight, they really sounded like incredible flavor combinations!“
“Was not eating meat for a month and had the bean burger. For someone that wants the experience of a burger but doesn’t eat meat this is a great option. Looking forward to going back and trying a real burger and the famous chicken sandwich.Vegetarian options: Bean burger was very good.“
“The food is amazing. I really enjoy the different items on the menu. Burgers are GREAT!!! I stopped here one day for a lunch break now its on my top 5 places to eat. The staff is amazing. There is one waitress that's better than the rest, but I keep forgetting to get her name. It's a small staff but you're always met with a smile and a warm plate and the environment is old style reminding you of simpler times when a dinner was the place to be.“
“I will speak about three things, physical plant, food quality, and execution and service. The physical plant is somewhat underwhelming. If you've ever eaten in a Hwy. 55, this layout is reminiscent of that. A few pub tables, a bar, and a few booths and regular tables. They do have a few large screens, t.v.'s that are probably 70" Country music plays on the speakers at a good level for conversation. All noise from the kitchen is heard in the dining area.As for the food, I ate the Pimento Cheese Bacon burger. You can choose single, double, or triple patties. I had the double, which made my burger a little top heavy. It was moderately messy but was very tasty. I personally would have loved a larger bun to hold all that goodness inside. All the different flavors came through and were tempting to the taste.Last, there was one server Ava. She also was cashier, and greeter. She had it under control. She was friendly when I came in, and she offered suggestions. She came for refills on my drink order and even asked, "Isn't that the best burger you've ever had?"“
“I had the BEST salad here yesterday. They have premade salads but you can also customize your salads. It was so good l called to let them know. This is a unique place where you can purchase unique wines, salsas, BBQ rubs and sauces, chocolate and premade dinners. Love this place! Highly recommend. I probably be getting my salads here daily.!“
“My last visit here (11/26/23) was the best I have ever had at this location or any five guys' location. The fries were cooked perfectly. They were not oily and not undercooked. Cooking freshly made fries can be tricky and I have received them oily and undercooked before so that is why I mention those details. On this visit, the fries were 5 stars. The burgers were also 5 stars. The hamburger patties were cooked perfectly, all the toppings were fresh and the bun had just the right amount of mayo on it. The service was also 5 stars. The person that took my order was very nice and I did not have a long wait for my food. The atmosphere at this location is nice. They remodeled it a couple of years ago. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere was because the drink area was a bit dirty. Not terrible but could be better. Overall if you have never tried 5 guys or if you have and want to go to a location that does it right this one is a must-try.Parking: There is plenty of parking in the free parking lot. Getting a spot close to the door can be challenging.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair friendly restaurant.“
“This is our favorite spot for a GREAT burger. The ladies are so kind and recognize us (even though we haven’t been able to get up there as much recently). We make a point of going every Valentine’s Day and they make it extra special for us. It’s also EXCELLENT hangover-cure-food. We love Faye’s!!! ❤️“
“This place is somewhat hard to find, almost like a little hidden hole-in-the wall. But Geez....it's a Great place to eat!! Alot of local folks, especially frequented by a lot of New Hanover Regional Medical Center staff. My wife and I were lucky to have found it. It's definitely a recommended place to eat. The roast beef sandwich is Wonderful!!“
“A lot of times nowadays, hitting a fast food restaurant that isn't one of your normal or familiar spots is iffy at best. My family and I were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was, how clean the inside was, the speed of service and food delivery and the quality of what we ordered! The person taking out order was patient and engaging with our children, which is always nice to see. Gave them recommendations and was genuinely trying to make their day better. You love to see it. Next time we're in the area, we'll stop in for sure!“
“Amazing. Man you have to get the chicken Philly. Let me tell you the service was awesome . Our server was Brook she made sure I chicken Philly subs were made just as we asked. Great young lady. You really have to hit this place up. Our meal was definitely worth the price.Martin “
“Most reliable and best service you could ask for in a Walmart. Have made countless trips to the Checkers and the staff is so friendly and consistent with the quality of service. Walmart is lucky to have them and has profited greatly from unplanned stops, just to get this food.Parking: Walmart parking lot“
“Stopped here for the first time ever at the urging of a coworker that was riding with me. The hot dogs all the way with slaw were excellent. I've driven by here many times over the years but never noticed it until my coworker told me to pull in. Quick service and great tasting hot dogs and fries for the money.“
“This is the only Burger King I eat at. I come here at least once a month if not a bit more. (Gotta watch the calories) lol. The food always tastes fresh. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is great. I have spoken and ordered from Cheryl. She is so sweet and genuine. I recommend 100%“
“Best place to go! Service was amazing and food was hot. There was a lady running around cleaning, taking food out, putting people at a seat that came in, everything. She was walking around talking to everyone and when she got to us she asked if everything was great and if we needed anything. We talked for a minute and I asked to speak with her manager because she was doing so much and wanted to let someone know how wonderful she was doing. Come to find out she said she was the manager Samantha. I told her it was nice to see a manager who works with her staff in every way and that we would definitely be back when we are this way.“
“Maybe it deserves 5 stars, but honestly, how can I give 5 stars to McDonalds and 5 stars to a fancy NYC steakhouse? I mean, it's a McDonalds--it's like comparing apples to beach balls. You can't compare the two. Hence, 4 stars seems logically appropriate. But, anyhow, it's a good Mickey D's. My McFish, or whatever they call their fish sandwich with cheese on too and tartar sauce was hot and tasty.I asked for an extra tartar sauce and sure enough they had put one in when I looked.Service at the drive thru windows was courteous and friendly and they smiled. So all was good.“
“My family loves this place! Ms Faye is an amazing waitress and in our experiences the lifeblood of this place. She's always hussling and keeping everyone on track. The guy that brings the drinks is always hussling too! We honestly travel to Wilmington for this and find other things to do. Best Philly hands down!“
“LISTENNN... you have to try On Thyme for some of the best seafood around!!! You will not be disappointed; the fish is seasoned and fried to perfection! The customer service is excellent; friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor seating is beautiful and appears to be relaxing...The place gets packed fast....the line was jam packed to the door during my visit. Be patient, it may take a while to receive your order, but it's worth the wait! There's no parking lot, it's only parallel parking. You may have to park and walk up the block, but that's okay too ? it's worth the walk!!!“
