“First time in the area, thought I’d give this place a try . Everyone was nice , especially the guy taking care of us, I believe Justin was his name. He recommended the lemon ricotta pancakes, I was skeptical but thought I would step out of my comfort zone and MAN WERE THEY GOOD! If I’m ever in the area I know where I’m eating for brunch! I hope To come across Justin as my waiter again! My glass was always full! (Which is a big deal for me)“

“My wife and I stumbled into Drift for the first time last Sunday while spending the weekend in Wilmington for a comedy show I did. Absolute great coffee and a fantastic brunch. Bought a bag of beans for home, and the coffee I’ve had the last two days is out of this world. The coffee is rich and flavorful. I can’t wait to get back to Wilmington so I can go to Drift. “Okay. This breakfast was GREAT. I love a good small diner. This place has a relaxed atmosphere. The people working here are great, the food is delicious. It is a must have when you are in the mood for a good neighborhood diner. This place was so clean! I know an odd thing to say about a "greasy spoon" but it goes a long way when I wash my hands in a clean restroom before eating. Oh and the banana pudding tastes so close to what my granny made when I was growing up ❤️ I will be back soon.“

“Classic breakfast diner with a greasy spoon vibe (not derogatory- I love greasy spoon type places!) it’s comforting to know that while Wilmington changes rapidly around us Whitefront is gonna keep serving delicious food with friendly service and no pretentiousness. Get your biscuits grilled and your potatoes crispy, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Where was our favorite server Cheryl today??? We left when we were told she wasn't working today...I hope she didn't quit because if she did we won't ever be back. I don't know what's going on here but it's definitely not the place it use to be.“
