“I saw Crofton’s all over TikTok and wanted to give it a try with the family. We ordered ahead and drove 30 minutes for: Cheese and pepperoni Mac and cheese Chicken bacon ranch Cinnamon Loaded baked potato The order was ready when I got there and smelled AMAZING. The outside of the pretzel looked great and when you broke into it, they loaded each pretzel with what we ordered. The only issue I had, 3/5 pretzels were not cooked thoroughly and were pretty doughy. May have just been an off day, but def worth trying.“

“I go to this place every time I visit Wilmington. What they have to offer is unique and awesome. The croissants are fresh and incredibly delicious. I have met the owner on several occasions. He is always so friendly and accommodating to me. I drive all the way from Virginia just to experience this place and it is well worth the drive. The staff is also very friendly!! “I cannot recommend Burney's (Wilmington location specifcially) enough! The owner, Anthony, is incredibly kind and generous. I used them for my wedding desserts and got 6 flavors of croissants, cake balls, white wedding cake and a 15 layer caramel cake. Several people told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My only regret is not getting more croissants because they were gone SO FAST - people are still talking about them! Not only was the quality of everything amazing (as it always is when I'm just visiting the store), but everyone was so kind and helpful. I did several tastings and this one was by far the best (in flavor and service), they have so many options, are super customizable, have a reliable staff - truly everything you could want in a local bakery or a wedding vendor!“

“We came in last night for dinner after friends told us about it. Alban met us at the door, and personally checked on us several times during our meal.

We shared the French onion soup. I had the duck and my husband had the lamb entree with a bottle of Pinot Noir.

The atmosphere: Very nicely done French bistro. As the restaurant filled, it did become a bit loud (echo from the tall ceilings and flat surfaces) but we could easily talk over it.

The Service: David was great. Knowledgeable and made good recommendations on entree and wine. Checked on us but not bothersome. Alban likewise checked in. He even came outside as we were leaving to ask how we enjoyed ourselves. This was exceptional.

The Food: The French onion soup was rich and everything we’d expect from that classic dish.
The entree’s were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The ratatouille paired with the lamb was a bit mushy but the vegetables were tasty. The lamb could use some finishing salt at the end to perk it up.

The duck was very good. Cooked medium rare with a nice crust on the skin. Very tender and the orange glaze with mushrooms paired nicely. Rice was cooked well and served separately. Again, I would suggest some finishing salt on the duck to enhance the dish, but otherwise exceptional.

Value: Our meal (including two cocktails before dinner) was $200. Considering the above, we felt this was very reasonable for the quality of the experience. I forgot to take photos of our entree’s as we were busy enjoying them. 🤭

Overall this was an excellent dinning experience and we would highly recommend this to our friends and family.“

She is so accommodating, she even came to our wedding to make sure the cake was set up perfectly and created these amazing punch cakes for our guests. Got the order in, they were so nice and went above and beyond for me. Said it would be about an hour, which I fully understood being how busy they were. “Was gifted a drink from a friend on 10/30/25. She brought it to me at a place I was volunteering. Unfortunately, it tasted so bitter and not good. It was an iced latte. I called to tell what happened and ask if I could come get a replacement when I was finished . The person I spoke to was extremely rude asking for a receipt (it was bought by a friend for me). I told her I didn’t have a receipt but I could bring the drink back . She then asked me the name of the person who bought it. I told she paid cash at the drive thru so she wasn’t asked her name.
