About Elijah's Oyster & Fish Camp

Elijah's Oyster & Fish Camp is a favorite restaurant in Wilmington, offering a nice, relaxing evening on the waterfront with a super nice location and a 'sea side shanty' feel. The food selection is good, with excellent and very tasty dishes. Specific meals include the salmon BLT, Elijah's pooboy with flounder, a nice burger and fries, clam chowder loaded with potatoes, lump crabmeat and bacon, oyster Rockefeller’s, the steak salad, and the crab cake duo. The must-get appetizer is the Crab Dip, described as the absolute best anywhere. The service is great, very nice, pleasant, entertaining, welcoming, positive, effective, and extremely helpful. Management is also great. The food is very fresh, baked to perfection, and makes for a hearty taste. It is a highly recommended spot for a great service and dining experience.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice fried seafood platter dinner with a beautiful water view. It was a nice cozy seat inside with exceptional service. The roasted oysters as an appetizer are superb!

Elijah's is wonderful! Yes, sometimes you have to wait because it’s a walk-in restaurant, but once you are seated - we were early and were immediately, the service is top notch! Margaret is courteous, respectful, kind, and thorough! The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean! I love that they have all experience levels on their staff and are developing tomorrows rock stars!! The food, atmosphere, staff, and of course THE VIEW!! Made a special night more memorable! What a lovely setting and experience! The hush puppies appetizer with the sweet chili honey butter was a delicious way to start… hot and spicy/sweet. We both ordered the blackened flounder and shrimp, flavored with creole seasoning. (I enjoyed the spicy flavor; some folks may not.) Our waitress, Nicky, was friendly and attentive without being bothersome. She brought timely refills and checked on us often. We’ve already text the family to plan on going to Elijah’s...read full review
