I ordered the Garlic Shrimp small plate and it was absolutely delicious! The Brussel Sprout appetizer was yummy also. Can't wait to go back for dinner!!
Another great brunch at River 128 before our Thalian Hall matinee 🥰 My friend and I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna small plate with a draught beer and complimentary carrot cake for desert😋THANK YOU EDSON❣️

River 128 Restaurant is located along the riverfront in downtown Wilmington, offering wonderful atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the Cape Fear River and the Battleship. The space is clean, modern, warm, and inviting. It is a great place to enjoy the water, hear the waves, and is a great date spot.
The food is described as amazing, delicious, exceptional, and the very best seafood, though some find it hit or miss. Specific praised items include several excellent appetizers, the duck entree, the burger, lobster ravioli, a surf and turf special of filet and scallops, the charcuterie, and Brussels sprouts. Happy hour features half off apps. The service is generally noted as attentive, kind, helpful, and professional, with staff who go out of their way to ensure a fantastic experience, though it can sometimes be super slow.
The restaurant is popular and packed, with easy reservations available. Drinks, including NA and cocktails, are very good with a great selection. It is a must see and a place many look forward to visiting again.
