“We were a little disappointed. The food was OK, but it wasn't great. It came out lukewarm. Our pork cheek appetizer didn't have near enough chips to go with it; we didn't ask for more because they appeared to be regular potato chips, not homemade.

The specialty cocktails were not good. Avoid them and just order your regular gi-to drink or a bottle of wine.

The pasta was good, but again, the food wasn't served warm.

Our waitress was good though. Kudos!“

“We went to Roko Italian restaurant last night, for New Year’s Eve, in Wilmington . We sat at the bar, Jason took care of us , if you’re looking for the ultimate experience and great customer service sit at the bar and let him wine and dine you you’ll simply love it just like we did . I had the lamb chops , my daughter had the Chicken Florentine. Thank you Jason for a great job. Looking forward to coming back in 2023.“

“My wife and I recently visited the Osteria Cicchetti for an appetizer and a drink to just relax and have some "us time". We sat in the bar area at a high top table for two and our server was Danielle. She was friendly, polite, helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable but not rushing us. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, a glass of white wine and a Stella Artois. Everything was just right... Danielle bought us over some Italian bread and Flatbread, which we both like. I added some olive oil with sea salt and black pepper to my dish so that we had some dipping "sauce". All in all we both really enjoyed our visit to the O.C. for an appetizer and relaxation time.“

“When I preach in Castle Hayne, many of the parishioners & I go to Uncle Louie's for lunch after worship. Both the food & service are outstanding; menu prices are very reasonable, & they have many delicious offerings. Salads are always fresh & well-prepared as well as their huge pizza slices, lasagna, & spaghetti, but Italian food isn't all Uncle Louie's offers. Their club sandwich is delicious; so are their shrimp. Such a wonderful family atmosphere to enjoy great food, outstanding service, & visit with family & friends. Yes, I highly recommend Uncle Louie's & look forward to going back.“

Now I am a retired culinary Particulartarian ***yes I made this word up ; however I have never been displeased with customer service, the loving spirit of staff or with the quality of food. The course meal dining experience is out of this world! My review is based on bringing 12 - 15 of my support group front liners to dinner to let them know how grateful I am and we are blown away each time. “This is a great local spot for a great slice or pie. Michelangelo's has been at this location for many years all the way back to the original Walmart. They always make me feel welcomed and wanted at their establishment. The current team is by far the most amazing crew they've ever had. Don't change a thing guys!“

“Was better then a lot of other Italian restaurants in the area...I had spaghetti with Chicken parm was decent. My wife have very bland baked ziti...it has no taste at all..my only real issue is that all the bread is hideous. Throw it in the trash and get a delivery of Italian bread each and serve with butter. The garlic knots are to doughy and something is not correct with the knots“

“The flavor of the food is delicious! The accolades are well deserved. My brother and I ate here twice in a span of three days despite wanting to sample all things Wilmington. The bread was fresh and flavorful and the meats-topiings were par excellence! Could not have asked for a more flavorful meal. The price is a little higher than subway but the satisfaction from the meal is beyond compare. A+, 10/10, 5 star all the superlatives apply. Next time I'm in wilmington I'm putting this place on the list of stops!“
