“A hidden Jem!!!! Living and growing up in NYC I know good Italian food. This place is unbelievable. I have stayed on Oak Island twice and both times had dinner here. Large portions and a fair price. I had the Veal parmesan with angle air pasta. The veal was so tender it melted in your mouth. My wife had the Frutti Di Mar a seafood dish, the seafood on the plate never ended. We both had enough leftovers for a second meal. Don't miss this restaurant if your visiting Oak Island!!!“
“Real Mom and Pop family place. Most nights there are 3 generations working. Salads are cold and delicious. Pasta and meatballs mouth watering. Large servings are huge, prices very reasonable .Parking: Many spots available including handicapped“
“We called in our order for two large cheese pizza's to go on a busy Friday night. We waited ten minutes past our pick up time but it turned out to be an interesting learning experience. While we waited, we at sat their bar and reviewed their menu which looked great. I noticed their wine pours were very generous along with a good selection of various wines that were very reasonably priced. We saw friends finishing up their meals that they both really enjoyed in the well appointed and decorated in house dining side of the restaurant so we stopped by their table to catch up. Although the pizza side of the restaurant was very busy, it did not interfere with the conversations going on at the bar. The interior dining room is almost completely walled off from both the bar, and the pizza and meal pickup area which is very well designed because your able to have a conversation at diner, and not even be aware of the pizza and takeout meal pickup or the bar area at all. Mr. Falcone (Owner) was polite to speak with in the pick up area while also being very efficient at managing all the different activities in concert which really helped move their takeout business out the door quickly. We got home, and the pizza tasted very good. So although, it was only a pizza pickup this time, based on what we were told, Falcone's is a great place to dine as well as an outstanding place to have a glass of wine, while eating one of their delicious appetizers over some stimulating or relaxing conversation. While at this point we can only recommend their pizza ourselves, we will revisit for a full meal dining experience and update this review.“

“We love Swains. We've been regulars for years. The service is great and friendly and the food is amazing. The new early bird specials are fantastic too. We really enjoy the seafood and the appetizers and I have had some of the best char broiled steaks I've ever had there. You have to try the peel and eat shrimp with the Florida seasoning. Don't even get me started on the amazing desserts. Swains is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area and we'll be back there soon. Tuesday we were there and I had a juicy and delicious tomahawk pork chop. It was fantastic. See you there!“
“Great pizza at a great price! My wife and I shared a small Carnelicious and it was more than enough food for both of us. Price including drinks was something like $22 including top for two people. The crust was delightfully crispy on the bottom. Staff were friendly and personable, location was great, what's not to love?! We went twice during our brief stay.“
“Went for the famous Tuesday night pork chop special. We had a reservation but had to wait about 15 mins past that, but not a huge deal. They can't ask patrons to hurry up! The salad had the famous dressing that's so yummy but was very light on the lettuce. Mostly beets and chickpeas, which I don't eat but my husband does. So I had only a few bites because there just wasn't much lettuce for 2 people. Still yummy. After waiting a while, the pork chops came out . Hubby's had a balsamic and peach glaze topping which he said was "ok". Mine had the garlic and mozzarella topping, great flavor, but the chops were pretty tough. So were his. They can't butterfly them because they're bone-in. I struggled to cut it because of how tough it was, and also how dark the restaurant was (and when the chop is covered with cheese it's hard to see what was fat and what wasn't). Not our first time, and not our last....service (once seated) was great and we've had great food there before, too. It's about vacation season so better make a reservation!“
“Best dessert/candy spot on the island! Not only do they have all their Sunset Slush favorite flavors but also some ice cream and a variety of candies in their store front location. They also help the local college and school kids during the summer by providing them a job serving the slushes on the beach! Students push the cart up and down the beach during peak seasons!“
“We picked up takeout the other night - nothing wrong just nothing special. Food is decent but nothing to write home about. Also, you can order a slice of pizza but you can't order it over the phone? You have to order whatever you're going to get and then if you want to add on slices you can pick them up there IF they have them?“
“This is such a little hidden Gem!!!!!!’ I’m giving 5 stars because I can’t give 10!!!! Nichole our server was so awesome!!! She made menu suggestions and overall just a complete joy to do business with. We are from out of state and truly enjoyed the food and OUTSTANDING service we received!!! Whoever is doing the cooking keep up the amazing work!!!! We will for sure be back to dine before we head out of town!“
“This was a good place to eat. We got a 12" pizza with sausage, mushrooms and baby spinich. It was good. We had an older man serve us and he showed that he was not happy to serve us. He treated others that ordered alcohol much better than us as we only had water. He was really nice when he first got to our table but when we only wanted water his attitude changed from happy to extremely annoyed. The hostess was very nice. The 2 salads they have are $6.99 each. Most of the items on the menu were $20 or more. Would I go back. Yes but I would watch out for that server.“
“Dinner after the movie. It's been quite a while since we were here. Still great food and service. Relaxing atmosphere even with a full house. I had to try the lasagna again, and it was better than I remembered. Wifey went with veal and loved it. Definitely recommend reservations.“
