“Party of 3 and everyone was pleased with the food...even the 13 year old. Fried shrimp, grilled/lightly seasoned shrimp, blackened shrimp (tasty, not too spicy), fries and side salad. Very good service. View of the water. Will definitely eat there again if ever in the area.“

“Have lived down here for 5 years. This is the first time we came to Oliver's, and we were not disappointed.! The food was amazing. The server jacqueline, really hustled and bustled with a smile on her face and very, very sweet! My husband is a diabetic and also on dialysis, and has to watch his intake on certain things. And they did his French fries without salt, like we asked, and instead of frying the catfish, he baked it . If I could give jacqueline, a higher than 5 stars. I would .“

“This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Brunswick County. The location, atmosphere, exceptional waitresses and waiters and the best menu. I'm an hour away or I would be there more often. For the old lady birthdays celebrations The Rusty Hook is my go to. Will be the this Sunday and cannot wait. Never disappointed.“

“Loco Jo’s Bar & Grill May 21, 2026 Only an alignment of the proper elements can create the perfect gem. Such has happened @ Loco Jo’s and these words are most selectively chosen. People, passions, skills and caring are artfully combined at this outstanding intimate charming and embracing gem of a Craft Bar and neighborhood fine dining experience! From reading/sampling the (creative does not do it justice) beverage menu, a diverse succinct and dazzling offering of culinary knockouts (we sampled three) and the gracious hosts, we were… overwhelmed. We live in Tucson AZ and have frankly traveled in most states in this great country and journeyed to scores of nations across the globe. RARELY have we found a place that genuinely earns A BEST of THE BEST of Local Kudos. Loco Jo’s does and even more so! But be advised, if you are looking for “same ole same ole” or “just like we had at ________” please don’t seek it out. One final note, we really scoped out the room, tables and barstools. “Hands down the best restaurant in Brunswick County! The food is consistently spectacular, and I love how the menu is always evolving — it keeps things exciting and fresh. It’s refreshing to dine somewhere that truly values creativity. The drinks are expertly crafted, and the desserts are absolutely out of this world. We come here all the time, and the staff is hands-down the friendliest and most attentive we’ve ever encountered. An all-around amazing experience every single visit!“

“We ate here last night. The Tuscan chicken was fantastic! The sauce, meatballs, calamari & cheesecake was delicious. Andre our server is professional, personable, attentive & one of the best servers I have had & we eat out a lot. Kudos!!“

“My husband and I took our daughter here for her birthday. It was our fist time there, my daughter has been before. The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were large and perfect! Our server George was totally awesome! He brought our drinks, then appys, and not too soon with our entrees! Perfect timing on everything! All the staff were kind and happy. Had our desserts to go as we were too full. 😂 Definitely recommend!!“
