“Oh my goodness do not just drive by this place- stop and EAT!! Bread great, homemade ranch amazing, calamari divine, seafood frutti di mare wonderful. My husband got the chicken parm and he couldn’t get enough. Finished with tiramisu cake and I could not praise the quality, preparation, and service enough!! Our server was so attentive and the chef came out to ask how everything was. Will be loyal customers here.“

“Inlet View is a hidden treasure. With expansive views of where the Shallotte River meets in Intracoastal Waterway, its beauty is matched only by the quality of its food. The seafood is excellent, whether fried or broiled, and I hear the steaks and pasta are also excellent. Recommended!“

“We have had issues finding places we like (a lot of the places around her have been bland). We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. We have been here three times so far and they have been very consistent each time. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“

“I am an unapologetic shrimp nerd.… Fried shrimp in particular. Yes, I’m spoiled. I’ve had fried shrimp up and down the eastern seaboard from Maine to the tip of the Florida keys. Perhaps I’m bias, having lived worked and visited the Holden Beach area for the past four decades, and I’ve had my share of both good and bad shrimp. Unfortunately, more of the latter than the prior. Which brings me to The Wharf… The latest incarnation of one of my favorite seafood spots, Betty’s seafood. The simple charm and iconic waterfront setting of the restaurant remains the same. Casually relaxing on the patio watching boats go up and down the intercoastal waterway, particularly at sunset, is mesmerizing. That was always the draw for me… Until tonight. The Wharf has taken a simple staple and executed it to perfection. Excellent shrimp, executed flawlessly in the classic calabash style, left me wanting more. Adding insult to injury, they made me forgo my favorite condiment of all time, good cocktail sauce. In its place is an amazing garlic/Cajun aïoli that is transformative. Add to that the friendly, attentive staff, and you have the makings for a real game changer in the Holden Beach seafood scene, which has seen decline in the past several years. Do yourself a favor and experience this for yourself. I’ll be back for sure“

“Our family had the best meal all week during our vacation at Feast OIB! The owner/chef greeted us at the door and seated us. The wedge salad was delicious with homemade blue cheese dressing. The lobster risotto was wonderful and beautifully presented. The crab legs were super meaty and tender. There are great options for kids too! Amazing, friendly service with a smile. As we were leaving, the owner/chef was cleaning tables and making sure things were running smoothly. We were very impressed! I also love that the menu was clearly labeled with MANY gluten free options.“

“My wife and I just had a fabulous lunch at the Castaway Grill in Ocean Isle, NC. The hamburger lunch plate was great and the house salad with homemade ranch dressing was very tasty. The smash burger was also a hit. Great service, great food and honest pricing. Will definitely dine there again.“
