Sam, the owner, is so accommodating and caring about everyone who comes in the doors. We came tonight and our server Emily was so sweet and on top of everything. It’s a must visit!“

We came from an area where we were pretty spoiled with great restaurants and Wing & Fish has been the only place so far that is comparable. “They have two gentlemen on their dock to help you tie up. When we finished lunch my power steering hose leaked. Nick the dock worker helped me get back on the water big shout out to Nick at Provisions. The food was great it our go to place from the water.“

“The best seafood at Holden Beach!! The seafood is always fresh, no matter your choice. I recommend one of the platters, so you get a taste of it all. The flounder is the best you will find at Holden Beach unless you buy and fry your own. The prices are very reasonable, and you get enough for another meal. We have owned a home at HB since 1964 and have seen many restaurants come and go, but The Silver Hill is still there and still the best. It may not be a fancy building like some restaurants, but I do not judge my food by its architecture, I judge the quality, freshness, and taste of the meal, and you can't get better than the Silver Hill. I promise you that you won't be disappointed in your meal or the price. Silver Hill Grill is the best!!“

“We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“

“Such a good little find. My family has seen this place for years but it never looked open when we drove by. Fast forward to tonight-came in around 6pm-just before the rush apparently. Had a great waiter-can't remember his name but he was tall and really on his game. Anyhow-the food and drinks were quite good-we had the snapper special, goat cheese salad, a kids meal and the jerk tacos. All were really tasty, served quickly, correct temperature and great flavor! The cocktails were strong and tasty. All in-we will be back. Super appreciate that they were able to accommodate kids and my food allergies.“

Staff at take-out were fun and next time we'll eat at the bright Cafe with cool decorative beach paintings. “Yesterday while on vacation our family of ten was loud and lively, but our waitress handled us with fun matching energy, the food came out super fastespecially for such a large group, and we were left speechless and moved when a mystery guest paid our entire bill anonymously. It was the quitest the resturant was when we were given the news. We hope they see this and know we paid it forward right away.“

“I got the platter with BBQ and shrimp. I asked for hush puppies instead of fries. Bbq and slaw were delicious. Shrimp were pretty good. Hush puppies were like eating grease balls. I was so sad- I don’t know if they need to drain them more or what. We will come back - I will get the BBQ again.“
