“A fun atmosphere with great food and the kids loved the coloring books.Kid-friendliness: The place has a lively atmosphere so normal children noise is perfectly acceptable. They also have coloring pages and crayons for the kids and high chairs. I had all five grandchildren with me and everyone did great.“

“There were 4 of us dining. We all ordered the house salad with the hot honey mustard and bacon dressing. The dressing was not served hot or even warm. Our croissants were cold and hard.The manager came over to our table when we were finished and he asked how everything was. We tried to tell him about the dressing and croissants and he acted as if we were speaking in another language. He wanted us to look at the menu and all kinds of crazy replies. We weren't looking for a discount or anything taken off our bill. We just trying to be helpful.It wasn't the send off we were expecting.“

“This was our first time at the Blue Drum. Had delicious She-crab soup, blackened Mahi and blue crab Mac and cheese. The Mac n cheese had hunks of crab, rich and delish. The enclosed patio is the perfect spot for a chilly evening. We recommend making reservations.“

“Very noisy place we went for lunch. The food was unremarkable, the noise level was almost intolerable. Our server was very nice. I guess I expected more, particularly the catch of the day sandwich but it was just not special in any way. The standout item to me was the coleslaw which is made with lots of pickle relish so it is sweet and refreshing. My sister in law had the homemade pie and reported that it was delicious. “We had a great experience. The ribeye and prime rib were delicious tender and cooked as we requested. We also enjoyed a crème brûlée which was also very good. The food all came in a timely manner didn’t have to wait long at all to be served. The waiter Pauly did an awesome job. “Perfect place for a special occasion! My birthday dinner was phenomenal - scallops over braised mushrooms with arugala oil pesto. Sooo good!! Scallops were cooked perfectly. Service was spot on as well... our server was awesome (can't remember his name but he was a tall guy with a bun)Only complaint is the size of the oysters... so small for $24 but luckily the flavor carried the dish.“

“Fantastic food and service. Eat here every trip. We had three different kinds of meals. Steak, fish and chicken. All were cooked properly and tasted great. Our daughter's friend had chicken marsala for the first time. She loved it. Salmon special was very good. Brownie Sunday topped it off.“

Hubby had white fish and popcorn shrimp. Friends had 3 clusters of crab legs. Everything was great! All entrees come with hush puppies, cole slaw and 1 side. Potato salad, cole slaw and chips were very good. I’m not one for hush puppies but theirs with the cinnamon butter were awesome!“

“We were recommended Boardwalk Billy's and Local, by people at the resort we were staying. Unsure as to which one to try, we originally drove past Billy's busy parking lot and tried Local...well needless to stay after quickly being seated at the Local, we were never acknowledged by anyone so we left and came back to Billy's...what a great idea that was....the place was busy but we were promptly seated, and greeted by our server Anna. She quickly took our beverage order and returned with them just as fast...she gave us some time to look over the menu. We ordered dinner and it came out quickly, correct, and hot...the atmosphere was great, people were friendly and everyone appeared to be having a good time. The staff looked like they all knew what their job was, and they did it well...we left just prior to the Live Music starting. We will definitely come back here if we are in the North Myrtle Beach area again. Among us, we had fried flounder, broiled flounder, fried chicken, grouper tacos, and baked salmon. “Very nice clean and simple Calabash Seafood restaurant. Calabash is a style and way of cooking seafood that they do very well and my favorite. Waitress was fast and efficient at both lunch and dinner. I has the same waitress. Hostess was friendly and the cashier (for dinner you pay) up front was friendly. The cashier for lunch was rude and all he wanted to do is talk to his friends and very unfriendly. I guess he was unhappy with having to work. I asked him a simple question and he curtley said. I don't know. Wow. As someone who has hired thousands and managed them. I would have terminated him on the spot. He must be the owners son. This was on A Saturday afternoon. So come for excellent fried seafood and efficient waitresses. Maybe you will have a friendly cashier.Parking: Parking can be limited when it is busy. We had to park at Callahans across the street.“

“I was blown away by the great service and delicious food. We liked it so much that we went twice in 3 days! The staff was exceptional and they cheerfully modified our entrees to be vegan. The manager even checked-in with us and we praised and complimented the staff. They even have a robot bring the food out (with the servers) which is innovative and fun. Good food, amazing service, they deserve this 5-star rating AND your business.Vegetarian options: They modified the street tacos for me to have black beans instead of meat. They were perfect!“

“It was so good we went back! My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Saturday night. Our server was fun and she was full of details on what to order. The whitefish dip they serve with crackers was very tasty. My wife had the salmon and I had blackened Mahi Mahi, it was perfect and the green beans were as fresh as they could be. We enjoyed it so much we ate there for lunch on Monday with another couple and our experience was just as good, but this time we sat outside on the deck overlooking the inland waterway, a perfect lunch.“

“I ate here on April 30, 2024. I ordered the special which was filet and crab cake. The meal was awesome, the filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the crab cake was wonderful. Best steak I’ve had in decades! And the meal was served hot, not warm, HOT. The potatoes, green beans, steak and crab were hot. Topped off with pecan pie, not the usually frozen institutional type, this was homemade pecan pie. Whole experience was just fantastic! Highly recommend.“

Despite being late in the evening, the staff totally nailed it. “Rarely do I review a chain, but the Bonefish in Myrtle, everything was outstanding. I made the reservation for the wrong Bonefish, and they seated us immediately. Even though the restaurant had an event going on. Our waiter, Vinnie, exceptional, even comped us champagne for our anniversary. I had a filet with shimp and oyster scampi. The filet rivaled many steakhouses in the area. My wife had grouper with crab - she swore it was one of the best dishes she's had in a long while. And to top off the evening, Vinnie comp'd the key lime cake. Kudos to Daniel (mgr) Vinnie and the hostess (I didn't catch her name, but she was from Boston) for running a great place“
