Blue Drum Waterfront offers a picturesque outdoor ambiance with perfect intercostal views. The appetizers like fried green tomatoes and seared tuna were phenomenal, while the smoked wings were a bit underwhelming. The drinks, including martinis and margaritas, were top-notch. However, some entrees arrived cold, needing reheating. The Grouper Oscar was excellent once reheated, but the crab Mac n cheese was watery with cold crab meat. The Cajun trio was recommended but turned out bland and room temperature. Despite some disappointments, the restaurant remains a good spot for drinks and appetizers, especially when not busy. The absence of Happy Hour on the outdoor patio was a downside for returning customers.
