“Food was great. We originally wanted to go to The Shack which was closed. However Sam's offered the same meals so we thought, can't hurt to try. It tastes just as delicious. So now I no longer have to drive all the way to Cherry Grove when Sam's is just as good! And open on Sundays!! I had the Flounder and shrimp meal.“
“This is the best seafood around. It's a one man show, but Richard is on the ball, scheduling, cooking and giving you the best service. His food is so delicious, lightly battered, not any of that heavy batter. And his desserts are fabulous, if you have room for them after eating his generous portions! “OMG....this place!! Don't let the weathered sign and small building fool ya....this place is to die for! The food stole our souls from the very 1st bite! I didn't want the moment to end! Every single bite..... of everything we ate ....was just delicious! (We ordered hush puppies and a lobster seafood boil/spicy) The fish is fresh on ice up front, the food gets cooked in the back kitchen and you can see the family in every aspect of this place. “I've never been disappointed by anything here. The man at the front counter is extremely friendly. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The portion size can feed 2 people and prices are reasonable. The dumplings are the best I've ever had---very tender and flavorful!!! Spring rolls are great too. There is no other place we would go to.“

“We went here on a family vacation, waiter was great food was 10/10 WONDERFUL! just a great place to get good SEASON seafood. we got 2 pound crab legs extra corn potatoes sausage and eggs with cajun garlic, butter mild & my boyfriend got the same thing but medium. The mild was perfect for my daughter not too spicy. Will definitely be back next time!“

“Patty was our server and did a fantastoc job of making us feel welcome. My wife had the special prime rib,done to perfection,with farm to table green beans,and mashed potato's,starting with a beautiful fresh salad.I had the carolina flounder,tasting a hint of lemon,done to perfection,with rice and greenbeans. I started with delicous potato soup, none like I have had before. My wife took home a slice pf Oreo cheesecake,said it was outstanding! A wonderful dining experience.Another great meal at the Crooked Oak. Hailey was our server,and did a fantastic job. I again had the flounder,this time wit fries and green beans,my wife had cajun pasta with chicken and sausage. Both fantastic. This place never fails to make us happy!“
