“Our favorite dining experience this trip! The atmosphere is stunning- warm and inviting, beautiful,with lush plants and lighting everywhere. The food was amazing I had the steak and my daughter had the Halibut. What truly set the experience apart was Myke our server, the most helpful and genuine personable person, very attentive and offered great recommendations. He made us feel right at home. Great food, friendly service, and beautiful atmosphere.“

Pro tip: add a crustless tomato pie (chopped up) to home cooked pasta for a delicious pasta casserole. Add some cooked meatballs, sausages, veg for a flavorful meal!“

“We love J Peters in Pawleys Island. We are frequent visitors. Our one complaint - which we have mentioned to our waitress and the staff, the restaurant is cold and to the point it's uncomfortable. We've asked them more than once to "warm it up" - and the staff agrees - but our comments fall on deaf ears. It never changes!“

“Was disappointed in the crab cake. I always looked forward to the crab cake sandwich, but no longer. The crab cake tasted like canned crab meat. Will not order again.“

Not busy at all told to sit where we would like got to table and it was sticky all over the top of it mentioned to waitress she just looked at us we should have walked out but we were wanting to have the oysters so we endured the push off from the waitress we were very disappointed with the food and the very small amount of oysters that were brought to us food and dessert bar was very disgusting order a extra order of hushpuppies very cold and disgusting frozen hushpuppies very unclean unsantiary conditions all over the whole resturant“

Unfortunately, this year they changed the way they do the breakfast buffet, and it was pretty much the same selection every day. In the past, there seemed to be more variety from day to day, which we really enjoyed. The food is still good, but if you have the breakfast coupons from Litchfield Beach, just know there may not be much variety during your stay.“
