“We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.“

“Last night we celebrated my husband birthday at Caffe Piccolo. The food,service, and atmosphere was fabulous. Chris who we have known for years is doing a great job as the GM. You need to put this on your list as a must for dinner and a cocktail, or just a cocktail 🍸 for HH.“

“We visited in August of 2025 and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and it reminded me of true Carolina spirit. Had a simple Bacon cheeseburger with tater tots and did enjoy my carryout order. Will visit again!“

“Great sushi spot! They have a Dilly Dilly roll with fried pickle and tuna. Never had anything like that before and highly recommend giving a try. Caterpillar roll was amazing! The ginger dressing on their salad was also fantastic. Will definitely go back again on our next visit!“

“I had the She Crab soup and the Shrimp and Scallop dish. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had a generous filet mignon that was a perfect medium rare with a to die for mushroom cream sauce. Our server was fantastic and the vibe was perfect for those looking for something rustic and costal while still elevated. Recommend highly!“

“Under new management - Anita is a beautiful soul. You must try Mimi's Gooey Butter Cake - a family recipe. The cinnamon rolls are amazing, as well. Fresh baked scones, gluten free options. The coffee was great, too! We'll be back.“

“2/12/2022 Saturday Arrived around 3:00 P.M. Not busy at all told to sit where we would like got to table and it was sticky all over the top of it mentioned to waitress she just looked at us we should have walked out but we were wanting to have the oysters so we endured the push off from the waitress we were very disappointed with the food and the very small amount of oysters that were brought to us food and dessert bar was very disgusting order a extra order of hushpuppies very cold and disgusting frozen hushpuppies very unclean unsantiary conditions all over the whole resturant“

“We visited Applewood House of pancakes yesterday for breakfast. We missed the sign to the entrance, but once we found our way we were greeted upon entering. The menu has some good selection to choose from. I had crepes with strawberry compote and my friend had a pancake with eggs and sausage. Overall, it was a good experience. The waitstaff was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable timeframe. The prices were in line with what we see of normal breakfast areas.“

“Our favorite dining experience this trip! The atmosphere is stunning- warm and inviting, beautiful,with lush plants and lighting everywhere. The food was amazing I had the steak and my daughter had the Halibut. What truly set the experience apart was Myke our server, the most helpful and genuine personable person, very attentive and offered great recommendations. He made us feel right at home. Great food, friendly service, and beautiful atmosphere.“
