“Very friendly and thorough service. Straight spirits flights are offered, but I decided on a cocktail flight with selections featuring my personal preferences, and my husband did his own. Each mini-cocktail was beautifully crafted with a garnish. Every single one delicious.
Snacks are also offered to keep you out of trouble. I shared the pretzel bites and pepperoni flatbread. Fresh and good.

“Note: This review is from 3-4 stars. To start Horst Gasthaus is a german speciality place that serves German food such as german potato salad, schnizel, and more. they have a wide variety of veal, chicken and seafood dishes.
Went here on Thursday February 12th 2026 with my parents, aunt, uncle and a few friends as a total party of 7. We did make a reservation online and highly recommend to do that. When we arrived, the parking lot was jam packed and we almost couldn't find a spot. However, we were luckily able to park in the back somewhere. This place is like a little house with german memoria on it. in the dining room, they also had an accordion player. When we walked in to the door, we waited about 6 -10 minutes for a host to greet us. When the host finally did, she sat us down right away. Then, we sit down and our server still didn't greet us until like 15 minutes or later. Now, i understand that they were busy- but acknowledge us, address us, take a moment to start us with waters. Although this gave us time to look over the menu if we didn't know what we wanted. Finally the waitress comes over and gets us 7 waters, and 6 beers. We also put in an order of Bratwurst, Bauernwurst, as well as the pretzel appetizer. Appetizers came out in a timely manner. I enjoyed the Bauernwurst, which i think is the one that tasted like hot dogs, as well as the pretzel. The pretzel was big and we did end up sharing it with the whole table. For Entrees, I ordered the chicken Jager with mushrooms and gravy with a side of german potato salad and string beans. The String beans were the vegetable of the day. Oh, and the waitress did a good job with telling us the specials and communicating once everything calmed down. Food seemed to take long to come out, but when it finally did, I enjoyed my Chicken Jager. Only issue is that some others in my party said that their sides/food was cold- even after warming it up a bit- which the waitress did try to fix at least. Maybe the heat lamp is broken, or the food isn't directly under it, I don't know but this should be improved upon. We were offered dessert but skipped it. We did separate checks for our party- which the waitress accomodated. Paid via credit card and left a cash tip. May be back again!“

Oh my, I believe there was a pound of real bacon on that pie. Perfectly cooked crust and did I mention the bacon. 😀 Second visit, Grandma's lasagna. Delicious. My mouth is watering just remembering it. A variety of dishes are offered. I did notice a bar at the back. Enjoy.“

“The food here is freshly prepared and always fantastic. The portions are generous. Tonight I had the 4 cheese ravioli in Bolognese sauce which was excellent. The portion was large enough that I am taking half home for dinner tomorrow. This restaurant is absolutely wonderful.“

“We never miss coming here on our 5-6 visits to Little River/Myrtle Beach each year. The staff is welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. The restaurant is clean. The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. “I give this place a 10/10! Our waiter was extremely nice and respectful to me and my family of 5, food was beyond great! Pancakes were hot, buttery and soft. Eggs to perfection, bacon and everything me, boyfriend and the kids had was amazing. Definitely will be visiting this place again.“

“Visited North Myrtle for vacation with the family. It had been a long day and my family and I were driving around in search for something to eat. It was late but we discovered Benny's and stopped in. They welcomed us with open arms even though they were due to close within the hour. It was the best last minute decision we ever made. The food and service were phenomenal!! (chefs kiss) Some of the best italian we've ever had. We will never visit Myrtle Beach again without stopping at Benny's. Highly recommend.“

“Good family Fun, food was good, fum atmosphere! A little disorganized getting in and checking out. When checking in we were told we had to wait until the lane was cleared by the server, however when our hour was up, we were basically pushed out of lanes by another family as I was finalizing the paent of our check on my phone, which I had to use to place our food order. The few servers they had were very nice and made sure our food was delivered hot. We had to go up to the bar for drink refills, but I that really wasn't an issue since there was noone there at the time. Again, we had fun, but maybe allow people just a minute or two to gather their belongings before allowing the next guests to enter the lanes.“
